Great for families!

This house was perfect for our family of 8 (all adults). We were impressed with how stocked the house was in general, but especially the kitchen. We used the hot tub, the grill, and the game room during our short stay. We thought it was the perfect house and we would love to come back!

Spacious home

We enjoyed the location and proximity to town and Heavenly. The rooms were spacious but our group all felt the beds were a little too firm and would recommend a mattress pad if you like a softer sleep. The gas fireplace was cozy and put off great heat! The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of equipment to cook with which we enjoyed!

Thank you so much for your feedback of the home! We are thrilled you enjoyed the location! Your feedback about the bed is appreciated - mattresses are tricky because what may be comfortable to one person might be uncomfortable to the next. However, we have shared your review with the owners for their consideration and have inspected all mattresses to make sure no replacements are needed.

Amazing home

This home was definitely large for our family of 4. We were able to spread out and also have fun playing air hockey. Close enough to town to go do things, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. There is a small creek you can float on within walking distance, which would have been good to know before we came since we were only there a couple of nights. Great experience!

Great Get-Away Place

Beautiful home. Nice amenities. Nice location. Couple of issues, but we worked through them. Just wished the outside rails and outdoor furniture would have been wiped down prior to arriving (very dirty). House had big carpenter ants inside that we were battling. Beach chairs and beach umbrella would have been nice to have.

Joyce, thank you for your review. We’re so glad to hear your group enjoyed our spacious, clean, fully stocked home and its great location. We appreciate your helpful feedback on the home as well. We’re so sorry to hear you came across ants - unfortunately they are part of Tahoe living. Also, we’re sorry the pollen was so intense over your stay dates and covered much of the outdoor furniture and rails. We appreciate you wiping everything down, as it is hard to stay ahead of when it’s in full bloom. Thank you for staying with us Joyce and we hope you enjoyed your time in beautiful South Lake Tahoe!

Tahoe vacation

The house was beautiful and very clean! Great location. We went on walks every night in the neighborhood. We did see bears a few times on the street! The hot tub was great! The only thing i would mention is that the master bedroom had no closet and the dresser was so small we couldn’t even use it for anything - drawers are very shallow. I think the owners closet should maybe move to one of the other bedrooms as people definitely want a place to put clothes. We would definitely stay here again!

Review for property owners only

Since you are not staying at the property, you may not be aware that: the outdoor grill automatic lighter doesn't work (we left matches for next client), the right lightbulb over range is out, there is one cushion on outdoor furniture that is missing, the kitchen scissors are missing, and the outdoor furniture cushions are threadbare. We loved the stay, though. It perfectly met our needs. We may be back.

Great home to stay at!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this was a great home to stay in with my family and another family! We loved the open spacious floor plan on the main floor upstairs where we all gathered. The internet worked well and all the options for TV programs were great when we stayed in while it snowed. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the grill! Although the backyard was completely covered in 3 feet of snow, I could tell it would be a great backyard during the summertime to gather around and hang out in! For cleanliness, it was overall really clean (I could smell the cleaner when I first walked into the house) and everything was very tidy. Only thing is I'm not sure if the sheets were washed, as I found a couple small hairs in one of the beds...But would I stay here again? Absolutely!

Better than the Pictures

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was amazing. Very spacious, comfy seating and beds, big kitchen with lots of name brand, clean appliances, a nice grill, and plenty of towels. The hot tub was clean and very nice too. There were also some beach items in the garage that we didn’t notice till we were leaving (life vests, sun shade, blowup kayak). I do wish there were more pans (there were lots of pots) and the soap/shampoo/conditioner provided didn’t seem to clean well (the brand wasn’t shown so I’m not sure what it was). Also, the vacuum didn’t seem to do much, however there were 2 vacuums provided and we only tried one. All in all, it was a great rental with lots of space, in a prime location. Very quiet area.

Joy, thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of our rental, along with the amenities like the hot tub and grill. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the cookware and we’ve added more pans per your suggestion. For future guests to note - our soaps, shampoo, and conditioner are all a part of our environmentally friendly initiative to cut down on single use plastics, as we use refillable bottles for each stay. If you do prefer a particular brand for bathroom essentials, we would suggest bringing that with you. Sorry to hear about the vacuum issue, we’ll replace this vacuum as well and we’re glad it didn’t affect your overall experience. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another relaxing stay soon Joy!

South Lake Tahoe Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home in a wonderful setting. Very surprised given the size of the rental that there was no standard size coffee maker. Bought and left a coffee maker; so, hopefully, this will no longer be an issue. Also, surprised given the quality of the rental and the cost of the rental that the paper products stocked were of such poor quality. Again, bought our own. These types of things really should be standard. Otherwise, the property was clean, the hot tub and game/projection room were nice amenities and the property management company was very helpful and responsive when a breaker was tripped on a Saturday and they checked in frequently. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Amazing Stay, amazing host

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our big family of 10 had an absolute blast here! It's easily the best place we've ever stayed. So much space for everyone to chill and have some me-time. The media room was a hit, perfect for movie nights. Loved the comfy couches both upstairs and down. The beds were super cozy, and the whole place felt fresh and stylish. We even enjoyed the hot tub on a chilly October day- the water was clean and relaxing. The host thought of everything, and we had zero complaints. Every morning we woke up and we were like, "wow, this place is amazing!" The open kitchen was perfect for cooking and hanging out. We'll definitely be back to make more family memories. The hospitality team and host were super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. They really made our stay even better!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rent a few houses every year across the country. This was by far one of the most well stocked homes we've ever stayed in. We always cook, so the kitchen amenities are very important, and this kitchen was extremely well stocked. Well above and beyond a typical kitchen. We had an issue with the internet service and the company sent out a technician to make sure it was resolved. Everything was clean and communication and check in were excellent.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a blast at this house. We were only 15 min from Sierra so skied 4 of the 5 days of our stay. It was so nice to be so close! We loved the roomy hot tub. Everything was clean, so nicely updated and furnished, kitchen was well equipped, bedding was great, so we felt completely at home. Best part was the adults could hang out upstairs in peace while the kids played in the game room downstairs!
