Great location across the street from the beach and just a 4-5 minute walk to the pier. Short walk to all local shops and Bert’s grocery store.

Rooms, kitchen, and bath clean. Good communication with host. Porch area was right on the street which was okay but not ideal. Very close to the beach. Within easy walking distance to shops/restaurants. Only parking for one vehicle. Space was very small especially for unit A.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness, the proximity to the beach, and our walkable location to local shops and restaurants. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the size of Unit A, the porch layout, and the single parking space. Because we are so close to the beach, space can definitely be a premium, but we always want to ensure our guests have accurate expectations. Your notes help us improve our listing descriptions for future travelers. We’d love the chance to host you again down the road!

The floors were extremely dirty. The ice maker did not work and it took over 24 hours for the refrigerator to get cold. Also there are areas in the flooring thru out the unit that has tape over them which needs repairs. The cabinets in the kitchen very run down and needed some repairs. The beds were not comfortable at all. The bathroom sink has a pressure problem and water barely comes out. For the price I would think it would be better taken care of. We have stand in The Salty Shack unit C for many years and decided to change it up this time, which was a mistake.

Salty Shack was perfect for us (three adult friends). We loved being across the street from the beach and a short walk to town. We enjoyed the food and cocktails at all the restaurants we visited. It was great to sit outside on the front porch with our coffee in the mornings, and even though it is on Arctic Ave, traffic was never a problem. The unit was clean, well-maintained, bright, and spacious. We all agreed we'd go back in a heartbeat.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is phenomenal - within walking distance of Center street where all of the main restaurants, shops, etc. are. And the beach is literally a stone throw away.

The location of this unit is wonderful in proximity to the beach. Keep in mind that you are attached to another unit, so it is common to hear the people staying next door and everyone's noise level is different. The unit needs a deep cleaning and some updating. The unit lacked blankets which would have been nice since it was chilly for most of our stay. We had a few issues with other people parking in our designated space, but the management company tried to remedy the situation. In general, it was adequate for our stay.
