Beautiful Mountainside Weekend

Listing details were accurate and house was very impressive upon arrival. Would love to stay at this property again! The onsite contact (Tanya) was very helpful with questions too.

Amazing Pool!

We had a great stay in the Mountain Casa. It rained for most of our trip - so we spent a lot of time in the indoor pool. It was perfect. The house is very comfortably set up with a large number of bedrooms, great communal spaces, and an easy to use kitchen.

Family getaway

My family, friends and I had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home in Vermont Nestled away in the forest up on a mountain. The home was very well stocked with appliances and supplies. Definitely plenty of space for a large family. Rooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was fantastic and the children absolutely had such a great time there. There are several floors and stairs can be an issue in regards to older people and or very young children. Definitely coming back ❤️

Fun but too many stairs

We loved using the pool, jacuzzi and sauna! The view was beautiful. The house had too many stairs for me. By the end of the stay my knees were hurting me. Also there were not any shades on the windows.

This is large, comfortable house set in the woods on the side of mountain in VT. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the pool was clean, relaxing and came with floats! The waterfall element in the pool area is lovely but the pump made a bunch of noise so we didn't use it much. We thought the jacuzzi tub would be available - it wasn't. It's label "Broken Do Not Use". The house was generally clean but could use a more attention to the cobwebs in the corners. The windows in the pool room are literally rotting and falling apart so this room while wonderful to hang out in could use some attention. The decks are nice but the view is only of the surrounding woods. The availability of Alexa/music in every space was a nice bonus.The instruction book on the counter doesn't match the instructions received by email so I'd recommend the host make those corrections (the oven/microwave section and check out in particular). This caused confusion and wasted time during check out.There are no extra blankets, bath towels, kitchen towels or paper towels available. It would have been nice to have an extra blanket for the bed but we made it work. We were provided with a single roll of paper towels. We cooked every meal so keeping everything clean meant we ran through those paper towels quickly.Otherwise a great stay. I will say the hill climb to get to the house is extreme so 4WD/AWD would be required to get there in the winter.

We’re glad you enjoyed the spacious home, relaxing pool, waterfall feature, wooded setting, and music throughout the house! For clarity, the jacuzzi tub was removed from the listing several months ago and is not an advertised amenity. The pool-room windows are already scheduled for replacement, and blankets and towels are provided for each guest and bed, along with paper towels in the kitchen. We appreciate your feedback and are happy you otherwise had a great stay!

Beautiful home with tricky driveway

The house is wonderful! The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, knives, cups, glasses etc. The 1st level has a suite, complete with fridge, tv, love seat. The 2nd level has 3 bedrooms and a [chilly] walkway to the pool. The pool house is warm, and wonderful for kids and adults. There is some minor wood damage from humidity in the changing room, but nothing to worry about. The main level has kitchen, sofa, 1/2 bath, tv, dining room and a mud room. The top level is a master loft area, with jetted job and a large shower. The biggest issue is the location. The house is high up a mountain and the road was difficult to get up after the rain froze. The driveway is long and there is a bend, with multiple cars we had to back up, and there's minimal lighting at night. Plus it wasn't plowed. We looked for salt, but didn't find any. If you have 1 car, you can turn around in the driveway, but we had 3. In the winter a 4WD is necessary to get up Salt Ash Road. The house was warm, cozy, and we'll laid out. Everyone had a great time. It's right between Killington and Okemo. But things close early and there aren't many street lights on the ride back.

Mountain Hideaway

Very nice property tucked into the green mountains. The home is a "living house" in that it is not "sterile" building so it is easy to feel at home there.

Love the indoor pool!

We had a wonderful stay. The home was roomy and comfortable. Wifi and TV worked well and the house was well equipped with towels and kitchenware. The highlight was the fabulous indoor pool. The pool room and water are kept at comfortable temperatures and we were able to swim for hours every day. The kids loved it!

Fabulous family weekend

We were there to celebrate my grand daughter's 13th birthday. Three generations on three different levels: plenty of privacy, and then great together space in the lofty living room, adjacent dining room and (fully equipped) kitchen, not to mention the uniquely wonderful pool and pool room. Views from all levels over woodland with the fall foliage approaching its peak, and plenty of hiking options in the vicinity - altogether a perfect stay. If another family occasion presents itself, I know we'd love to come back. And there's no better recommendation than that!

Amazing house with plenty of room

This house was perfect for our stay! The indoor pool is amazing, especially considering it rained for most of our trip. There were 12 of us but the house is extremely spacious and well laid out. There are fun breweries and restaurants not too far from the house as well. The driveway is a bit challenging to back out of if you have a lot of cars in it, but taking it slow worked fine. We will definitely plan to come back.
