The rental was awesome. Everything we needed for our stay. Very modern and very comfortable. Hot tub was great after a day out site seeing. Having the water off the back yard was a huge plus for us. So relaxing. Pam and Doug were exceptional hosts. We enjoyed our time sitting and chatting with them. We highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts! Very welcoming! Nice piece of property, wonderful place for morning coffee, shade under the tree in the afternoon heat, and great place for glass of wine in the evening while reading a book or other.

What a beautiful and romantic location right on the water! The suite was very clean, cozy, and had everything we could hope for. The SUPs available to use were so convenient to just go for a paddle and the beach chairs were perfect for morning coffee, reading, and much needed relaxing. Pam and Doug are lovely and responsive hosts who made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay (and special surprises as well). Hope to stay again soon!

The unit was immaculate with everything you would need. And, if you did need something the host quickly supplies. The host and hostess were very gracious. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to someone. 10

This place is excellent — it has an incredibly well equipped kitchen, it is clean, the host was wonderful with instructions for check in and how to use the amenities at the property. In addition, the place is on the lake and there are so many activities to do, including paddle boarding, use of a BBQ, fire pit, and hot tub, among many others! I highly recommend.

Pam and Doug have created an oasis of wonder on the shores of lake Okanagan. Not only could we use their floaties, paddle boards, and kayaks, but they also pumped them up as well as our own! The property is Gorgeous, complete with private dock and white sand beach,The bed is super comfyThe fridge came with a bottle of wine and chilled glasses as well as non- alchoholic drinks and snaxWe will definitely be back and tell our friends and family, but NOT everyone, we want to keep it a secret!!

This is a lovely private suite in a great location - on the lake and close to downtown Vernon. There was a view of the lake from the bedroom and view of the valley from the living area. The hosts generously shared the lakefront spaces and amenities including the dock, kayaks and lifejackets and provided a seamless, friendly checkin process. We took a walk along the creek and went 10 minutes into town for breakfasts, lunch and dinner.

If you want a lake from property this is it. You walk 20 feet with your coffee and you sit in charis surrounded by Lake Oganogan. The home is bright and clean with great bed and walk-in shower and very functional kitchen. Pam and Doug place it over the top with their communication, kindness and sense of service They are helpful with obvious details and more. Check in was a breeze. So beautiful and restful. We will go back

Peaceful and Relaxing

It was a delightful 3 night stay-we loved the little ‘extras’ that you don’t expect including use of kayaks, SUP, and bikes! The private location on the beach with hot tub, spacious and cosy suite as well as the personal touches will definitely bring us back again. Thank you Pam for your kind hospitality…what a wonderful vacay!

July Get Away 2025

Overall our stay was amazing! Pam and Doug are both welcoming and provide a lovely home. Check in was a breeze and the home was well stocked with all the right items plus some great extras. We enjoyed having beach access and morning coffee on the dock. When we asked for recommendations, Pam was very helpful and had great suggestions. We would be happy to return for another stay!

Lakefront stay

The location was great ... Right on the lake with access to a nice dock to sit and enjoy. Use of paddleboards and life jackets was a bonus. The suite was very nicely appointed and clean, everything you need is there. This is a fully seperate one bedroom in a house yet it was very private. We will stay here again.

Pam and Doug are superb hosts. They had our suite incredibly well stocked with everything you could need: spices, food wraps, coffee, half and half, drinks, snacks - all complimentary. The bed was very comfortable with soft, wonderful sheets. The property was wonderfully located on the lake with water toys available for use.Doug and Pam are lovely people who aim to please their guests. They made our 5 day stay fabulous. We would highly recommend this property.

Perfection

Pam & Dougs place is the perfect place to relax & enjoy Okanagan Lake. The Suite is spacious , well appointed, tastefully decorated, with many thoughtful details. The yard, private beach and gardens are so lovely. The lake front location is perfect. Thank you for making us feel so welcome & sharing your beautiful space with us. We hope to return next year

Amazing Getaway By the Lake

Pam and Doug have a beautiful suite on an amazing property. The suite has its own entrance and gives you the feeling of having your own space. It is very spacious and came equipped with everything we needed. Being right on the lake was amazing. We spent our days suntanning, floating out on water, paddle boarding, watching sunsets, and much more. Being 10 minutes to town was great as well; we went from hanging out on the beach during the day to heading into town for dinner at night. Both Pam and Doug were very accommodating and had it all. We were greeted with a delicious bottle of wine when we arrived and immediately felt very comfortable in their place. Everything seemed new and the place was spectacularly clean. Would go back in a heart beat. Thanks again Pam and Doug, hope to be back soon!

Simply Beautiful

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property that boasts a well-maintained private beach and a lush grassy area with required shade for hot days but lots of sunny spots for tanning.The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable and that we had more than we could even need. The suite itself was spotless, cozy, well-cooled, stocked with all the necessary amenities, and provided a cozy retreat after a day of resting and relaxing outdoors.One of the highlights was the variety of water sports available, offering plenty of fun options. Additionally, the outdoor sitting areas were plentiful, providing numerous comfortable sitting areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings.However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The proximity to a small airport meant that small planes frequently took off nearby, which could be quite noisy. On colder rainy days, the limited view of the lake from the small bedroom window was a bit disappointing. While there were window seats, they were wooden, somewhat uncomfortable, and offered limited space.Overall, the property offers a delightful experience with its beautiful setting, excellent hosts, abundant outdoor activities, and great location.

We were thoroughly impressed with the apartment and all of the special touches that were provided to make our stay amazing. The apartment is newly finished and beautifully decorated. It was spotlessly clean and welcoming upon our arrival. There are a number of ceiling fans as well as air conditioning to keep the space cool at all times. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has a large walk in shower as well as 2 sinks and lots of storage space. All necessities are readily at hand for kitchen, bathroom, linens, towels, etc. as well as extras to take outside to enjoy the beautiful back yard that includes a lovely beachfront area, dock, hot tub and shaded grassy area for relaxing in. The hosts provide kayaks, paddle boards and floaties for guest use as well. We were also able to store our bikes in the shed in the back yard. The property is beautifully landscaped and cared for by the owners, who also live on the property. They are so welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home in their shared back yard. We had lots of quiet time to enjoy mornings and evenings on the beach or the dock, with a coffee or a cocktail. There is an airport nearby so small planes overhead sporadically. For leisure activities we enjoyed bike rides to a coffee shop and hiking around both Okanagan and Kalamalka lakes. Local highlights for us were: Davison Orchards, Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery, Cambium Cidery, Grey Monk Winery and Phoenix Steakhouse. Great vacation!

Absolutely amazing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Incredible opportunity to experience lake front living. Hot tub, kayaks, SUPs all available for use.The guest house truly feels like a home away from home. The hosts thought of literally everything you would need.

Convenient location.

Amazing suite! Close to Vernon for groceries and restaurants. Great for paddle sports and lakeside chillin'. Good walking area as well. Lots of stairs to suite so must be physically able ... easy to get steps in!
