‘Riverheart Retreat’ - One-of-a-Kind Villa!

Thanks; not everyone appreciates an “Historic Hippie House” but this was built back in 70s & 80s and is very authentic, eccentric and eclectic too! It has lots of stories to tell and in the notebook and online info, you’ll see it was actually a real B&B! Glad you Enjoyed & had fun!Come again sometime and bring friends along!

It was built & run as a real Bed & Breakfast for 40 yrs by an artist, and we pretty much left her Unique History alive! There is a written story about her & the Original Potter’s House on most web listings. Thanks for your heartfelt review."

Since we did not hear from you, we were unable to address the concerns about the shower or oven at the time. Other guests have not reported similar issues, and we’re sorry your stay did not meet our usual standards. Our commitment to responsive service is one reason many of our guests leave 5-star reviews.-Please note that the property is not advertised as having a fully enclosed yard, and there is no paved path leading to the river. The home is intentionally designed to coexist with the natural environment and local wildlife, including deer and bears that move freely through the area. Enclosed fencing can be disruptive to natural wildlife paths, which is why the property remains open and in harmony with its surroundings.-For safety, our guest notebook and pre-arrival emails include important details about the natural walkways to the river, including cobblestones and rock paths, as well as the walking poles we provide. These features are designed to make the terrain easy to navigate and safe for guests who follow the provided guidance.-We regret that you did not have the opportunity to connect with our local team or take advantage of our concierge-style support. We continue working to provide exceptional stays for every guest.

We did offer a 50% refund to make up for some of the inconvenience you encountered. However, a chargeback was initiated with the bank thereafter.
