The house is huge and very comfortable with everything you need for a short stay,the water view is awesome and with binoculars you can watch the whales move along the coast.the pubs across the and the shops are also close. I highly recommend this property.

Very chilled

The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Great location as it was only walking distance to the beach and local shops.

Very disappointing & Overpriced for the state of the property. Property was dirty on arrival, broken blind facing ocean, large kitchen blind fell & smashed my arm, no blankets or heating downstairs (1 strip heater) so everyone froze in July, sliding doors came off tracks, dirty kitchen cooking pans & cutlery, insufficient & old kitchen utensils, broken steak knife left on dirty high chair from previous visitors, bird poo all over outdoor furniture, teapot with no strainer, cooktop malfunctioned, kitchenette downstairs had no cutlery or crockery which meant elderly visitors had to risk life & limb climbing stairs.No scourers to clean pans.Ran out of clingwrap.Not enough comfortable seating upstairs. Couldn't sit downstairs as whole area was freezing & strip heater couldn't possibly heat open space. Considering the property cost more than 2000 for 2 nights we wouldn't stay again.Owners need to repair, clean & update.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. We would, however, like to clarify that none of these concerns were reported to us during your stay, which unfortunately meant we were not given the opportunity to inspect or address them at the time. When we contacted you regarding the broken blind that we found on your departure, it was only then that we where notified. The blind was inspected by our handyman, who was unable to determine conclusively how the damage occurred. Our team investigated the other matters raised. Every bed was confirmed to have a quilt provided, and the property listing clearly states that ducted air conditioning is available throughout the upper level only; heating or air conditioning downstairs is not advertised as an amenity. We do acknowledge that a kitchen sponge may have been missing, and the saucepan mentioned was subsequently replaced. Our team did not find bird droppings covering the outdoor furniture, although a small number of fresh bird droppings were present on the outdoor deck, which can unfortunately occur at a coastal property between inspections. We take guest feedback seriously and will always investigate genuine maintenance or cleanliness concerns. We simply ask that guests contact us during their stay wherever possible so that we have the opportunity to assist and rectify any issue promptly.

The stairs were a bit of a problem for me but it didn’t bother the others ! We ate out for the 3 nights at the hotel which was handy !

Sea Sounds - Ultimate Beach House

Ideally located , the 7 bedroom property was big enough for a family holiday weekend which everyone enjoyed. We had some issues with communications wherein I received , I believe , auto-generated reminders to complete already completed documents and payments but in speaking to staff on each occasion , the issue was verbally clarified. The property needed some maintenance however with the soap/shampoo dispenser in the main bathroom found to be on the shower floor with contents spilled everywhere. The shower glass screen in the main bathroom had parted from the aluminium trim slightly , photo taken on initial inspection , and the floor area of the upstairs balcony was very dirty and needed cleaning on arrival. The vacuum cleaner supplied was virtually useless and we required the use of other equipment that we actually had with us to vacuum the floors on departure. Apart from that we had a wonderful time , the location was brilliant.
