We are glad your family enjoyed your stay. We apologize for the grass. Our home is on a schedule with a grass company, and due to the tremendous amount of rainfall this summer that we have gotten, it puts the grass cutting behind. The yard actually got cut the day after your checkout. We hope that you will stay with us again on your next trip to Hatteras!

Tara, We are glad you and your family enjoyed your stay! Yes ,the dune at the end of the street at the beach is done by the town. They continue to push the sand when the ocean's high tide comes down the street. Unfortunately, we can't get them to level it off, it changes shape so frequently. Bryan, Thank you for your review, but you did not contact me during your stay to let me know that your hot water was not working, a plumber could have been sent out. The pool is not heated for the months of May through September as the outside temperature is between 80-90 degrees. And between those months upon request because there is an additional fee. Our home is on a quarterly Pest spray but occasionally the little guys get inside depending on the water table. We do hope other wise you enjoyed your 3 night stay, the beach and view! The Crumpler's
