Location is great if you are going a charter at Pirates Cove, however, the property itself was not very clean and several cockroaches were spotted, including in the kitchen. Stairs and handrail on the backside of the property need to be addressed as it's a huge danger and liability.

Lovely house to stay in for a family wedding

We all met in Manteo from both coasts for a family wedding and the house was the perfect spot for all of us. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all and lots of space for relaxing all together. The house has been newly remodeled and so everything is quite nice and the house is very accommodating for large groups. Very clean and well stocked kitchen too!

Thank you for your feedback—we sincerely apologize for the frustrating start to your stay. We’re very sorry to hear about the check-in issue and the delay in assistance after you contacted our office. That is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how inconvenient that must have been after your arrival. We also regret the concerns regarding the empty soap dispensers and the TV not functioning properly. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of these issues during your stay, and had we known, we would have addressed them as quickly as possible to improve your experience. Your comments are extremely valuable and have been shared with our team to help prevent situations like this in the future. We truly appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience next time.

Check-in was a breeze. House was beautiful. Location fantastic. Short drive to the beach. Only downside was the dock which had boards that were lifted, making it unsafe. They came to repair it our 2nd week of the stay. This was a minor issue. Would stay again

The house was perfect for both families under one roof. Plenty of room, kitchen well equipped pretty clean. Location was great. Pool and hot tub could have been cleaner. Miscommunication made check in a little difficult but once everything was straightened out we had a good stay.

Wonderful Stay

We just returned from a wonderful week at Kings Landing. It was great! Our only complaint is we would have loved a gas grill :) The location is perfect. Our kids loved the Pirates Cove amenities, and we loved that the beach was so close. The house had everything we needed, but we rented beach chairs and umbrellas. Overall it was a wonderful trip and the house was perfect for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 children).

Nice home

Pleasant stay.......enjoyed the house and the pictures online accurately depict the appearance and condition of the home. Very clean and well maintained. The least positive comment l have is that I wish there were dish towels available in the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a great home and location, and we would return again! :)
