We stayed the weekend here for a wedding. This place was so beautiful! Everything about this place was thought out. The beds were comfy and the shower was so nice!

This makes our third stay here. We love the location quiet and calm. Bonus this time we were greeted with farm fresh eggs ready to prepare for our Sunday breakfast! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Love it there.

Beautiful Place to Stay

We were in town for a wedding and needed to be close by. This was the perfect place to stay. Hosts were welcoming and even left feed for our daughters to feed the chickens and cows that would come to the fence. We would definitely stay again if we had the opportunity.

This is the third time staying and I've enjoyed the place as much as i did the first time. It's like coming home that's how comfortable the house is.

Eclipse At The Little Alsatian House

It was fabulous. What a cute little house and a beautiful private yard. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The town of Castroville is a hidden gem in the making.

Fantastic!

We LOVED this little Alsatian house. The property was very clean, well stocked with amenities and beautifully decorated. It’s in a nice neighborhood and located only about 2 miles from my husband’s parents, so we plan to stay here again in the future. The bed was extremely comfortable. It really was a perfect stay.

Home away from home

Enjoyed every minute. The owners are such friendly people, and they're little casita is so comfy and cozy. I enjoyed it as much as I did last year and will return in the future.

Quick Getaway

We LOVED this house! It was just perfect for our family and friend visiting from out of town. It was so clean, comfortable, and fun. Everything was very well thought out, and we didn't need anything, it was all there. Highly recommend!

Y'all...this place is SUPER cute! It was perfect for my family of two adults and two kids. My kids LOVED the loft! It was like their own floor with a cute little kid-sized room they called the "club house". The bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The listing is accurate and had everything we needed. The hosts even graciously allowed for a late check out as we were a little slow moving. My kids loved the visiting kitties and other night time critters like a ringtail! We would absolutely stay here again!

Best Ever

The property is amazing. It was perfect for 2 people with the master being downstairs. It has a great yard that was perfect for my blind big dog that doesn't wander far from me. It has an amazing covered front porch and an outdoor fireplace with chimney. We didn't use the fireplace but we sat outside a lot during the weekend. Really great kitchen and bath. It had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in and I have traveled a lot being a young age of 69. The owners are right there but still they gave us a dozen of fresh laid chicken eggs. It's at the end of a cul de sac in town but has a great country feel and I was raised on a working cattle ranch. I wouldn't want yo go up and down the steep staircase but Hats off to the owners for creating such a great escape in town.

A Taste of Old World Europe

Perfect for us! We were unwilling refugees from hurricane Beryl and found this spot to land while we waited for the storm to pass. It was an unexpectedly wonderful haven. We were able to work “from home” with all our usual amenities - which included space for our dog. Moreover, we were able to easily walk into central Castroville for the most amazing pastries at Baked and for superb pizza at The Dough Station. We also discovered the regional park which has amazing trails and was a lovely spot to enjoy the outdoors. The hosts were super kind and respectful of our privacy - they even left us fresh eggs from their onsite chickens. Imagine sitting on the front porch, waking up with the chickens over a nice cup of coffee and watching the cows graze in the pasture behind the house in the afternoons. The experience of the house in combination with the town struck us as a little slice of old world Europe, and we feel truly blessed.

The property was really cute. Definitely a cottage feel with the free range chickens and wild flowers! Just enough space for a couple and small pet. We had a little difficulty getting in touch with the host through Evolve, but when we went through VRBO, the host immediately contacted us. Perfect location for visiting San Antonio.You can enjoy the city and relax in the country at the same time! Definitely recommend.

Excellent stay!

The property was even better than the pictures! Adorable kitchen, seriously comfy bed, and a beautiful shower that was easy for me to use with a disability. The host and family were awesome. Very friendly and helpful when needed.

Great stay and Awesome owners!

The communication from the owner was great. They answered every question we had and was very helpful. We traveled from Alabama and arrived late with no issues at all. They area was really nice. We were there visiting family. The house had everything we needed. We stayed with 3 teenage boys which stayed in the loft. We loved the house and how it was neatly organized. It has a country setting which we loved. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The Whitten Family
