Overall house is cute. Only gave 4 stars because there was blood on mattresses cover and two pillows that were there. However we did bring are own. Dishwasher is broke. Other than that we had a great stay.

A good family home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here quite a few times and have always enjoyed it. Some things showing wear over the years... the furniture and kitchen door to the outside, but the AC has been updated and everything worked. This house is our favorite, which is why we keep picking it. Plenty of room for games, visiting on the deck, and sleeping room for all.

New Years with friends

Absolutely amazing! Check in was super easy. We were handed a key ring with several keys, had to play with them to find the right one. The storm door raised, and another door awaited the next key. Once in, we were so taken back. It was perfect! We opened up the storm shutters and saw the beach just steps away. Breathtaking!We highly recommend this property and would love to stay again during warmer months.

Very bad conditions of deck boards. Maybe a cover over deck ,outside light by door .Bedrooms are very hot No cold air comes out vents

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: The house was clean and looked better than the pictures. Lots of good deck space and so close to the beach. We loved being able to see the ocean from all angles of the house. The management company is also super friendly and check in was easy.Cons: The house smells like dog urine (very strong) and made is difficult to stay in the house for too long. We were attending a wedding close by so we spent most time at the wedding venue. Also, it was 45 degrees outside and the heat did not work. We woke up to the house at 62 degrees. We were concerned that we have to wash the dishes yet there was not any soap in the home. So we were hesitant to even use the kitchen. The house has a lot of potential but due to the smell and lack of heat, it made the stay very difficult.

2nd time staying here

The location is unbeatable. Its literally right on the beach with decks that stretch out just feet from the sand. The house is spacious and has most everything you need. I do have to say though that the house needs a little updating. One of the rocking chairs is broke. Like i almost fell out of it when i sat in it. The speaker is blown on the tv in the living room. There is only one bedroom with a TV and its not the master. Under the kitchen sink is kinda gross and is leaking and moldy. I really hope these things can be fixed by next year, because i would love to stay here again if it is. The location makes this rental. The beach was beautiful when we came. We spent a lot of time riding the beach on our 4-wheeler. The water was clean enough to see your feet when out deep enough for the water to reach my chest.

2025 beach trip

Overall the house is a perfect size for a big family stay. It does need some updating. Both recliner chairs are broke. The stove top only has two working burners. And the AC thermostat is locked so it only goes down so far. The house because of this stayed 77 to 78 most of the time. So coming in from outside it feels good but after a little while inside the house you can tell that it's not very cool. We did have to purchase box fans from the local Dollar general to keep the bedrooms cool at night. There was some lattice on one section of the deck that is broke and if you don't pay attention it will scratch your legs as you walk by. But the location of the house is perfect. You are directly on the water with very limited congestion on the beach. Almost as if you have a private beach. Because I have an autistic son that chooses not to go out to the water because of his sensory problems with the loud wave sound I don't have to worry cuz I'm right there close to the home. The home is for sale that is probably why some updates if not been done. All in all we love the house and we loved the stay, just some things need to be fixed. Number one being the AC thermostat not to be locked so you can set it at a lower temperature.

Repairs to the stairs and decks, the A/C unit is great in the livingroom, kitchen and upstairs area but very bad in the 3 bedrooms due to needing a larger unit and re-routing air ducts to the 3 bedrooms. Doorknobs need repair, updated paint job inside and out. Love, love the storm covers over the doors and windows. We understand that the owner is elderly and cannot repair and that the property is up for sale. We love to stay there and probably will again and again. Great location, beachfront and close to everything that interests my family.

It’s perfectly set so you can see the beach from all angles from inside, great decks to sit and soak it all in! The place stayed cool, has comfy beds and couches. But if you think you will need it - bring it, no extra amenities...nothing to clean or wash with. Kitchen is incomplete and frustrating to cook in although it seems to have enough stuff. Trash area in kitchen and under the sink is yucky. WiFi is here but we ended up having to use our hotspots for streaming as it wouldn’t last 5 minutes without buffering and/or dropping. Main TV in open area speakers are blown so it can’t be turned up very loud or you can’t understand the words. Mainly would have liked to have it for music. It’s so dark from the road at night so beware. Overall it’s a good beach house just needs some updates.

Fridge not cleaned out. Bathroom rug smelled like ****. Dryer screen completely full of lint. Makeup on pillows. AC struggles. BBQ grill seen better days. Nice unobstructed view of and access to beach.

Anniversary trip

The location of this house is absolutely amazing. The views from the deck were beautiful. There was a lot of seating and places to sleep if you were to bring a group (we may be back with some family) I wish the extra TV would have been in the master bedroom instead of smaller room. The house could have been cleaned better. The comforters on the beds had stains and there was sand left on the tables. We had to put the sheets on the beds ourselves so i saw that the matress protector and pillows looked old and had stains. The downstairs area had quite a bit of trash laying around. We just cleaned up a bit ourselves when we got there. Other than that everything else was perfect. Me and my husband had a wonderful weekend.

The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the comfortable beds. There are some pet odors that one expects in a pet-friendly rental. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
