Everyone will love the relaxing surroundings, the close access to the beach and the beach club, and the great views from the 3rd floor! This condo is one of the best values at Pointe West! RH Cove is an ocean view Third-floor condo just a few minutes walk to the beach. With fantastic views, ocean breezes, and comfortable furnishings, RH Cove offers the perfect vacation for large families or multiple friends traveling together.

You have access to the exclusive beachfront club (for an additional fee) with a wide array of resort amenities and pools. The centerpiece of the Pointe West resort is our stunning oceanfront Beach Club. Overlooking three miles of pristine Gulf of Mexico shoreline, this incredible full-service facility is unlike anything else on the Texas coast. The Beach Club offers endless choices to suit your mood... soak up the sun beside the pool, or soak away your cares in a bubbling hot tub. Play games with your kids or work up an appetite at the Fitness Center. You can also order food and drinks at The Pointe West Restaurant. The Beach Club is a complete—and totally relaxing—vacation destination.

WHY POINTE WEST?: Pointe West is a world-class resort that offers families and friends a unique opportunity to make vacation memories that will last a lifetime. It offers a beach club that makes the worries of the day melt away and you just take it all in. A family-friendly experience where everyone is there for the same reason - having good fun! The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, (3 years or older) The use of the Beach Club is optional. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.

Why RH Cove? It is everything you could want in a vacation experience! It is immaculate, offers a host of amenities, and delivers what it promises - a spacious, well-appointed home in pristine condition with a floor plan that takes travelers' needs into consideration. The master suite is private and the condo includes a fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer in the unit, TVs, and reserved parking. Everything you need to make the most of your vacation!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. I loved that they had a spice cabinet and a pantry that was well stocked. Staying so close to the beach and the pool was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding property for a family vacation!

Our group included two adults + four young adults (teens/early 20s), and this was an ideal space for a relaxing beach vacation. The condo was comfortable, clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for us to spread out when needed, and the furnishings were modern. The kitchen had everything we needed (and then some) to make meals for a group of six. The condo's location is near both the beach and the pool, with plenty of parking nearby. We have stayed at this property in the past (not this specific condo), and returned because of the proximity to the beach, availability of a nice pool with wait staff, and general proximity to basic necessities. It's not very close to Galveston proper, but there is coffee, pizza, groceries and gas not far down the road.

Thank you for the feedback, Doug. We'll have pest control treat for the ants. The condo is on a quarterly pest control service but this is a hot and humid environment it is a challenge to keep unwanted critters away. We are aware of issues with the elevators. Unfortunately, they are maintained by the condo association - we have no say or control over them. I know the condominium owners have voted toy will replace them. I expect there will be new elevators that work without issues by your visit next year. Thank you.

Awesome place!

Great location; close to the pool/by the main entrance and easy access to the beach! Condo is spacious - love that everyone gets their own bathroom! Nice touch having kids gear, plastic plates/utensils Will book again!

Summer Beach Trip

The property was great for our group of 10. It had plenty of room and beds. It is well stocked with all the supplies you will need. Very close to the pool. We would definitely come back

Nice place

Overall, the property was nice. Beautiful on the inside and easy access to the beach. Had to pay extra for the amenities. It was fine. The back two bedrooms get a little warm. There’s only one vent in each of the rooms so you may want to bring a fan. The outdoor patio furniture was a bit rundown and dirty. They do have beach chairs and toys available, but they’re in pretty bad shape. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

RH Cove

My family and I recently enjoyed our stay at RH Cove. The condo is well maintained and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook including numerous small appliances. The house included multiple tvs which was nice so the children and adults could watch what they wanted. The condo is located extremely close to the Beach Club/Office. The bridge to and from the beach was located near the condo. The ramps on both ends of the bridge made it easy to pull our beach wagons to and from the beach. The patio was great for happy hour and sun set watching! We would definitely stay here again

Great Location

This was a wonderful week-long stay at Pointe West. The weather was perfect, beach was spotless, and all the nearby restaurants were not too busy serving delicious seafood, etc. The Pointe Restaurant & Bar was closed for renovations, so we stocked up at the grocery store for poolside snacks and drinks. RH Cove was nice with a few areas needing attention. The patio table in the listing was missing, windows had salt air grime and tiny hand prints, ants were a constant on kitchen counter-tops. Also, I commend the property management company, Coastal Waves, for quickly providing us with another unit to stay in for the day while the water was shut off so that a booster pump could be replaced. This 8 hour planned event had an impact on the majority of Pointe West buildings. Overall, a relaxing beach stay that we plan to do again.

Gorgeous condo, but needs improvement on procedure.

This is one of the prettiest condos we've stayed in in this area. It was nicely decorated and so well-appointed with anything you may need. We are hoping the management of the property and the check-in process improves in the future. We were not given the access code, and then once given one it did not work. We had great communication with the owner, who helped us in the unit. Communication with property management was not as helpful or professional, as expected. The front and back patio were not cleaned, and furniture/decor was stacked in the corner, so that had to be done by us too, on our arrival. We also were not able to use the pool the first day, due to maintenance. When this happens, a refund in charges would be appreciated, since we didn't get to use the main pool area 1/3 of our trip. We picked the location due to the proximity to this pool. We love Pointe West overall, and would recommend. The beach area is so nice and not crowded. Thanks so much.

Lovely condo with awesome amenities

Beautifully updated and decorated condo! Lovely views and tons of windows to enjoy the scenery. Walk to the beach or the pool/restaurant, and it's a short drive to the lazy river in another section of the development. Loved all the options, which kept the kids happy! Would definitely stay here again.

Beach Vacation

This place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway with family. The house was everything we could ask for. Bedrooms were comfy and roomy along with so much storage space for our belongings. Oversized showers, with the basic items needed. Towels, linings, plenty of blankets to snuggle up with. TV’s all over the house made it perfect for the parents. We would definitely rent this condo again the next time.

Wonderful for our family! Great beach access! And the Beach Club was an awesome bonus!!

The property was very clean, comfortable and had beautiful views of both the ocean and the bayou. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all of our meals at the condo! After dinner every night, we would make the short walk to the Beach Club to buy an ice cream for each of us. We also had an excellent experience and contact with Costal Waves Vacations. They were quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall it was perfect, low key and much cherished family time. We plan to make this trip a yearly family trip.
