Leave all your worries behind in this spacious and serene 2 bdrm and full basement home. Large living room, beautiful kitchen and dining space to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Upstairs you will find 2 bdrms w cozy and simplistic feel and bathroom with shower and tub. Downstairs (basement) you will have a separate private living room w fireplace and TV, bathroom and space to enjoy your privacy.
Friends have called our home the Lakehouse as there is a beautiful lake across the street with trails and parks. We're a 5 minute drive to the highway and a 35 minute drive to downtown Toronto

Amazing stay!

It was a great stay, the only thing was there were 3 rooms not 4 but besides that it was the perfect place!

Amazing stay for family

We stayed at the Lakeview house to celebrate my brothers 60th birthday. The location is amazing, steps away from the waterfront trail. The house itself is extremely clean, and was ideal for our family. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Oshawa.

Oshawa retreat

We had a great time staying at this very clean and cozy place. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The area is very accessible to everything you need. We will definitely book again in the future.

Great home by lake

This home is in a very quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the lake. Owners are easily reached if necessary and the home is very, very clean. We enjoyed our stay in this VRBO.

Fantastic!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Oshawa this is it! With Lake Ontario a 5 min walk away the scenery is beautiful ! The house is clean and specious. Courtney is a fantastic host and very easy to communicate and deal with. This is our second time staying here and if we ever need to come to Oshawa it won't be the last. Book now you won't regret it !

Nice spot!

Great place for our family vacation to Toronto. The owner communicates very well and has decorated the house very nicely. About a 40 min drive with traffic to downtown Toronto, plenty of stores nearby for groceries. I enjoyed wandering around the trails in the park that travel along Lake Ontario. There was a nice little pebble beach to use as well. The only detractor was that we weren't able to get the TV working, it required downloading some app that wanted a credit card. Folks more tech -savvy than us probably wouldn't have this issue. We would definitely stay there again!

Some suggestions

I was clean but it felt like the smaller bedroom was not freshly cleaned. I suggest you have a set of new towels and bedding that is only for your guest. We felt like we were staying at a family member home and not at a place where we paid to stay. Also have some information about how to turn on the TV, extra blanket, pillows for the outside furniture.

I have 78 stays all with 5 stars, here and on Airbnb The house is Always cleaned professionally and immaculately. We do have fresh towels and linens only for guests. All of the info for the TVs is in our welcome guide:) I am also available 24/7 as mentioned to you if you need anything during your stay. Thank you for your input and I wish you happiness:)

It was OK with some minor issues

I have a mobility issue and the entrance into the house was with paved stone which were in an angled pattern and uneven surfaces. The handrail was not very secure but I had help from my family. That last step into the house was over height (10"-12") Bedroom identified as on lower level was NOT on the Main Floor but in the Basement with access via narrow stairs without any handrails. In that bedroom's 1/2 bath, the towel rack fell apart when a towel was placed on it. Also. the bed was reported as being a bit on the hard side. The side door entrance was not convenient for me since no handrail and High steps. Air conditioned was a bit misleading since several rooms had fans to help keep the place cool? The TV could navigate but you had to physically press the TV buttons to control the volume and to turn it ON or OFF. Overall, if you have young kids and are able bodied, this is a good place for you. Hello Peter, Thank you, as discussed, It is stated in our home description as well as me telling you directly before you booked that the 3rd room is in the basement area. You messaged me that you had put extra towels on the rack and that you were sorry You broke it so I’m not sure why you mention that. Wonderful house!

Very clean, comfortable house. Lots of room for our group. House is in a nice, safe feels neighborhood. Beautiful paved walking trail along the shores of Lake Ontario. Would definitely book again!

Amazing Getaway!

Our stay at Lakeview was everything we could have wanted in a vacation rental. It was extremely comfortable, close to all amenities and great outdoor adventures, and the hosts were extremely responsive and kind. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Great stay for a family!

We stayed at the Lakeview house for a family getaway to the zoo. The house was exceptionally clean and well suited for our family with 2 younger kids. Having close access to a park, tennis courts and lake were a bonus! I would not hesitate to stay again!

Perfect in every way.

Exactly as shown in AD. Exceptionally clean and was absolutely perfect for our virtual conference. The owners were very attentive to our needs and accommodated us in every way. Definitely recommend. Also the trails and water are steps away for the outdoor enthusiasts or just a walk for fresh air!
