BayVue2-See Fyrværkeri Fr Dæk!-Hot Tub-Panoramic Views

Udsigten er den største attraktion her, og gårdspladsen og huset er indrettet til at udmatte det hele. Du kan bare ikke finde denne form for panoramaudsigt her, men alligevel være så tæt på stranden og alle attraktioner. SE FJERDE AF JULI BRANDARBEJDE fra baghaven dækket og stuen. To af tre soveværelser og hele baggården har udsigt. En ægte perle med panoramaudsigt over Monterey Bay, Monterey Cypress og endda til Santa Cruz. Udsigt til natten er lige så smuk som udsigten om dagen, da byens lys glitrer som diamanter på bugten. Pris: 475 pr. Nat plus 150,00 rengøringsgebyr. Normalt et to nat minimum, medmindre det er en hverdag mandag til torsdag.


Dette hus ligger i et solbælte, så du kan nyde solskinnet og udsigten, når andre er i tågen. Stille velplejet kvarter. Det er den sidste gade i hele området. I nærheden af os er 8.000 hektar parkland.

Gå ind gennem hoveddøren i dette tæppebelagte hjem med masser af udendørs underholdende plads. Der er mange steder at se vandet og bjergene fra kombinationen stue og spisestue til soveværelserne. Stuen har en pejs, uden for bagdøren er der en meget stor gårdhave til grillning eller neddypning i boblebadet.

En stor baghave med havudsigt og en udendørs pejs til afslapning. Der er masser af plads til at slappe af med familie og venner eller bare for jer to i en romantisk get-a-måde.

Alle soveværelser har QUEEN senge. Vores søsterhus har en konge, der konverterer til tvillinger, når vi fjerner kongesengen.

Familieværelse har en sovesofa med en hukommelse skum topper. Dette værelse kan adskilles fra resten af huset for privatlivets fred.

Spørg os om adgang til 83 miles af stier og 8.000 hektar uberørte parkområder kun en kort køretur herfra .. Dette er ikke velkendt, men absolut som at have Big Sur i din egen baghave. Udsigten over bugten kombineret med udsigt over Santa Cruz-bjergene på den ene side, Big Sur-bjergene på den anden side og endda udsigter over Moss Landing i det fjerne vil forbløffe dig. Great Stay

What a great property! The house was perfect for our group with 3 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, lots of hang out space and a nice hot tub. The views are stunning, neighborhood quiet, and we lacked for nothing while there. It's a perfect distance to the center of Monterey but also has its own beaches even closer that are way less crowded. Susan was a great and communicative host. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Great family time!

We used this property as part of our family trip. We were able to enjoy many areas that Monterey has to offer. What I liked most about this property was definitely the view. It was great to sit outside in the morning and evening and be able to enjoy the amazing view. It also had enough room for my family. Another plus was the hot tub. Everyone just relaxed and had a good time.

Susan was a great host! She provided all the information that we needed, and she made sure everything was good for our stay. The location was perfect as we could go to Monterey/Pacific Grove or head over to the trails in Fort Ord National Monument.

Cute place. The view is amazing!

Our family was in the area for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised how close this place was to everything. The view and hot tub were terrific bonuses and we really enjoyed the small amount of time we spent there. We would have liked the outside furniture to have been cleaner and feel more inviting but inside was more comfortable. We didn't use the TVs or the appliances so can't say much for that or how well the kitchen was stocked but it definitely served our purposes. Cute place.

Anniversary weekend

We booked this home for a 3-day romantic getaway. The views and hot tub were great and the location was close to everything. Susan was friendly and attentive and check in/out was a breeze. The house could use some updating, organization and better maintenance, but overall we had a comfortable stay. The photos listed in the ad are a bit misleading on how close you are to other homes, however it was pretty quiet during our stay. So if you're looking for a relaxing place with great views of the bay, this is the home for you!

Wonderful View

We booked our two night stay at Bay Vue for our annual Monterey golf outing. The home is decorated in an eclectic, artsy motif that is really quite unique. The views are absolutely spectacular from all of the backyard decks!! Yes, decks plural. The property sits on a cul-de-sac , in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and offered numerous suggestions for dining. We will definitely be back. Thanks, Susan!

Fantastic family getaway!

Susan, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful house with us, and for being a wonderful host! We enjoyed every moment of our stay, from the enchanted entryway and front yard to the gazebo and jacuzzi in the backyard, and everything in the middle. The house itself is already an adventure! Unique furniture, décor, vintage and handmade musical instruments, arts, beds, and even light fixtures are special. So many items that show owners' care and love to their home, nature and arts. We were speechless when we got out to the patio. The jacuzzi with the unique view was such a treat! The patio was so wonderful we didn't want to leave the house : ) This is one of the best experiences of the year for our family. Glad we found this rental. Thank you again! Looking forward to return!

My new " go to " rental spot on the Monterey Penisula

Superb views. Super Clean. Hot tub with a view, how could you want any thing more? My grandkids loved the back yard. There are no stairs so grandma could easily get around. Two living rooms so we could spread out. We were a group of 8 and everyone said they would return. Tastefully decorated. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to Carmel & Monterey. We discovered the nearby Counterpoint Coffee shop and learned they fly in the dough for their croissants from Paris!! The Meatery was a top notch butcher. Fishermans Wharf is only 4 miles away. Check in was super easy. Sunsets over the bay in the evening made us want to just stay there and bring food from nearby restaurants. The outdoor redwood gazebo with skylight was the perfect place to read a book, stay warm and take a nap with a view. just a beautiful and relaxing place to stay and have fun.

seaside getaway

This is a difficult review to write. The two best things were meeting the owner, Susan, who told us all about her interesting life and accomplishments. She was friendly and very nice, even bringing over flowers and some treats when she learned we were celebrating our anniversary. The other best thing was the view. And the location, despite it being a very run down and neglected neighborhood, was close to all the things we wanted to do and see. The curb appeal of the house was not good. The yards were neglected and overgrown with dead plants and furniture that had been damaged by the elements. The roof was covered in pine needles which could be a fire hazard (though the Fire Station was right down the street). Having the yard cleaned up and dead plants removed/replaced would make the property far more inviting. Had we been touring the area and only seen the yard, it would have dissuaded us from renting the property. The house was filled with so many items and decor that it felt overcrowded and a bit claustrophobic. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were of good quality. The cold water in the large bathroom barely trickled out. The kitchen was crowded with too many things on the counters, which were sticky and not clean. We had hoped to cook there, but it was an unwieldy space for two to maneuver. There were various internal signs of neglect with chipped paint, not very clean carpeting, sliders that didn't open, and way too much clutter. We wouldn't rent it again.

Quirky, neat(ish), freakish number of mirrors

Remember your quirky, eccentric Auntie Abigail? The one who was constantly shopping at second hand stores, and sang just a bit too loudly in church??? Well, she decided to join a French Vaudeville troupe, and she's asked you to house sit for her. Auntie Abigail always kept her trove of bizarre collections in their proper place, but she was too busy perfecting her kazoo skills to have much time to neurotically "clean" the place. Sure the cabinet handles and floors are mildly sticky, and the rug (on top of a rug) on top of a carpet is a......unique design choice, and storing your flour in an old tin bin is more rust than rustic, but we ALL (should) know better than to use Auntie Abigail (or any other VRBO's) flour anyway!!!! Auntie Abigail does take great pride in her hot tub, and it is surely the highlight of the stay, but the camera pointing at the hot tub is very naughty.....and against VRBO policy. The outside is quaint, with plenty of places to relax and enjoy the views. The "love shack" in the back yard is interesting, especially the lock on the OUTSIDE......creepy!!!! Aunties house would be an excellent place to have a seance, halloween party, or a burlesque party. If you decide to stay, do yourself a favor and pluck a few of the stings on the piano guts...it will transform you straight to The Overlook Hotel (The Shining). Its also fun to count the obscene amount of mirrors!!! If your coven isn't obsessed about cleanliness, it's a good enough place for a ritualistic sacrifice, just leave the youngest witches at home, as there are far too many interesting and fragile trinkets to explore (or break). And I DARE YOU to peek inside the windows of the camper van in the driveway, you just might find (but I can't prove) THAT AUNTIE ABIGAIL WAS LIVING IN THE DRIVEWAY THE WHOLE TIME!!!!

Yikes Cooooool House!

Killer view of the bay from the yard and 2/3 bedrooms. VERY comfortable beds/ mattresses/ linens. Excellent communication by owner! Well stocked with kitchen, laundry, etc needs Not for the faint of heart - the owner is a professional harpist who has soooooo many collectible / unusual antique harps in this home - the clutter might put some off but we found it joyful and unique. We were there for the Big Sur Marathon and it was very well suited for driving to the finish in Carmel as you couldn’t access the course except for start and finish. Most of all was the owner’s flexibility and patience - I booked fhe VRBOnbut wasn’t arriving til the next day, out of town in-laws were the first guests there but it was seamless. And when a 4th couple asked to join us, Susan had no problems and solved our last minute change. Definitely would stay again. Mahalo Susan!

Weekend in Monterey

Very clean, well stocked and comfortable house. Very interesting art and decorations around the house. My grandchildren and I loved checking out all the musical instruments and figuring out the scales on the inside out piano. It was also great to have a hot tub already at the perfect temperature to get into after a day out hiking in the foggy Monterrey summer weather. One addition that might be considered is an electric outlet to charge electric cars.

Good news and bad news

This property had many strong points. It was close to Monterey and all that community offers. It had a great view of the bay and we enjoyed the fireworks and watching the fog roll in over the bay. The hot tub worked like a champ and several of our party used and enjoyed it. There were accommodations for our entire party of seven. We also took advantage of the extensive seating outside to converse or relax or just enjoy the view. The inside had many "antiquish" fixtures and furnishings which were sources of interest for some, curiosity for others and detraction for a third group. There were also significant issues with the property. The most serious of these were maintenance related. Generally, things could be made to work but it took some effort or the defect detracted from the appearance. Here are a few examples: 1) The garage door was tilted, leaving a gap between the lower edge and the concrete floor. This is usually a sign of improperly adjusted springs in the opener mechanism. We did not have or need access to the garage as it was owner storage, but it created a poor impression on checking in. 2) The mechanism for the fold out couch was crochety. We got it to work and used the fold out bed successfully, but it took multiple tries and you had to hold your mouth just so. 3) There were three patio doors which were very positive as they led one to the outside space and provided views from the inside of the house. They were old and the locks and rollers were recalcitrant. While the property in general was clean, there was a bunch of debris in the sliding door tracks. The beds were comfortable; the kitchen appliances worked fine; there was copious hot water and many many additional pillows, linens, towels and blankets available. The tenants prior to us had contracted Covid and had to stay an extra night. The host ensured that additional cleaning procedures were put into place and we had no health issues. This schedule re-alignment did require an additional amount of communication with the host. We worked through the problem effectively and Susan was responsive and flexible in our conversations.

It's in a sun belt with great views of the bay both day and night. Quiet neighborhood on top of what used to be a sand dune. It's the last street in the area. No neighbors behind you.

The views. hot tub, cannery row, bike path, in the center of a cul-de-sac which means more privacy and off of the main road so no traffic noises. Fenced in Yard: Great for pets and children. This is our most often rebooked home which means 'people like it!
