This cute little house was very convenient to both Kentucky Kingdom and Churchill Downs. It's a little dated, but was quite comfortable, though it could use a little bit of updating in a few places (new caulk around the tubs, tightened light fixtures, etc.). Regardless, it was clean and had a nice backyard with an old tree right in the middle. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Thank you for pointing out the caulk around the tubs and the loose light fixtures, those have since been repaired and re-coated, and the fixtures were tightened right away. The property was clean, the hosts were very responsible and accommodating. The property was walking distance to the Churchill Downs and 10 minutes from the airport. All positives for us.

My family and I loved staying here. We stay in the area each year. This home was super comfortable for all of us. Everything was effortless, easy, clean and roomy.

Kentucky Derby Stay

The location was perfect for a Derby weekend, walkable distance for us. Amenities were nice, lovely charcueterie boards to greet us with wine and sparkling grape juice.

Comfy Cozy Place!

We enjoyed our stay here. The home was centrally located for the events we had to attend to at the Exposition Center. Great restaurants within just a few miles as well.Very Clean and comfortable! We will be back for the events next year!

Cozy and Comfortable

Thanks so much for allowing us to stay. I travel to town once a month to see my family and this was perfect for us. The location was perfect and central to everything that was needed. I plan to book again real soon.

While the interior of this home was spotless and modern, the outside yard needed maintenance. The neighborhood is less than desirable.

Had some initial issues when we first arrived to the unit, that were mainly housekeeping issues that weren’t completed prior to our arrival at 11pm. However, I reached out to the owner, and he resolved our issues quickly. The house was good location for what we were in town for at the Expo Center.

We've had some problems with a cleaning partner, and when we transitioned to a new cleaner, they were unable to come before you checked in due to a family emergency. We understand that you were tired and decided to check into a hotel. We gave you a complimentary 2-night stay with a gift basket and covered the hotel stay. While you were at the hotel, the new cleaner and maintenance came by and fixed everything. We're glad there were no issues reported after they took care of you. We will make sure this does not happen again.

Didn’t care for parking on the street, but was informed about that before the trip. Somewhat dated home with squeaky floors upstairs but the biggest issue for me was when we stripped the bed we were sleeping on at the end of our stay and found a massive “stain” on the mattress. About made me ill. It was the least equipped kitchen in any VRBO we have stayed in. Location, being very near Churchill Downs, the university, airport and sports venue, is the draw for this property.

Louisville stat

The property was perfect for our needs. We had an event to attend and this was within 5-10 minutes of the event. The only concerns were that the dishes were not all clean and the back door was open upon our arrival. So we were a bit concerned about safety upon our arrival but after checking it out and locking the doors and windows we felt fine.

Tastefully updated, technologically savvy house.

This is among the top 5 vacation houses that we've ever rented that was spotlessly clean and fresh. It seems the house underwent a recent renovation as well as a major upgrade in electronics. The whole house was connected to Apple's Alexa. From the kitchen's brand new fridge with a large door digital display panel to the bathrooms' speakers, to most of the ceilings lights and lamps. At times, we were a bit overwhelmed with so much technology, trying to say the proper commands to turn something on or off or having to override the command manually. And frankly a bit suspect of so many devices perhaps looking in. But again, overall the house was super clean, nicely decorated and welcoming.

making money with little effort

the window blinds, had been misfit to the windows and most had broken slates. an over abundance of Alexa devices. a law suit in the future for the sidewalk steps up to the door. never got the keypad to unlock the front door but the code may have been wrong since the wifi password was wrong in that same email, good thing the notebook binder on the table had the correct password. the bidets are unnecessary, don't think that is what people are expecting in this property. "2 vehicles can be parked on the street" but only if they are compact vehicles otherwise park down the street. the location is everything!!!

After reading your feedback, we followed up with the homeowner, who wanted to share the following:– Window blinds are scheduled for replacement soon to improve both function and appearance, though these updates can take some time.– We’re removing the Alexa devices, which were previously provided for music, timers, and other guest conveniences.– There's a railing along the sidewalk leading up to the door, and we’ve confirmed that it’s in good condition, as guest safety is a top priority for us.– For peace of mind, the entry code and lockbox code have been double-checked, and we’ve confirmed they’re accurate and functioning properly. If we’d been alerted during your stay, we would have been happy to assist in real-time.– We recently updated the WiFi password and have revised our pre-stay information to ensure future guests receive the correct details.– The bidets are available as an optional amenity and don’t have to be used. We’ve received positive feedback from past guests, but it’s entirely up to each guest’s preference.– While street parking can sometimes be tight for larger vehicles, reaching out would have allowed us the opportunity to direct you to additional parking options nearby.Thank you again for your feedback on these details, and we’re glad you enjoyed the location. Conveniently located near the airport, University, and horse track. We were in town for a baseball tournament and Tim accommodated an early check in for us due to a last minute change in our game schedule. Tim was also excellent with communication. The house is clean, has good internet, A/C, water pressure, and the kitchen is well equipped. Street parking is a little tight but we always had room for two vehicles in front of the house. This house is a great option at the price.
