This condo is a wonderful property, located directly across from John's Pass on Madeira Beach. It was an excellent unit, with a view of the Pass shops and the Bamboo Hut. You could sit on the balcony in the evenings and enjoy the live music from across the street, or walk over to socialize. There was great access to the beach, and a deck with freshwater hose to rinse off before going back up to your condo. There is also a bike rack, so bring bikes to get around the beach.Overall the facility is clean and well maintained. I wish the unit had some swiffer refills to clean the floor with. That and the noisy fan in the master bedroom are my only two negatives, and both of those are easily remedied. The unit had excellently maintained and clean appliances, and plenty of cookware and dining ware to use. Overall this is an outstanding value and great unit to rent. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Unit was dated but nice.....Floors were filthy....walk around barefoot and in no time your feet were black. Other than that it was as expected. Would stay again if floors were cleaned.

Location is perfect directly across from John’s Pass and on the beach. Condo is spacious and clean. I liked the nautical decor. Kitchen was stocked with all necessities for cooking. We didn’t like the layout of the bathrooms. The full and half baths were connected by a pocket door. Not ideal for privacy. This is the second time staying at Madeira Norte. We did miss having a view of the ocean. For that reason we probably would choose a different condo for our next visit. Overall, a great vacation spot!

Nice but not fantastic.

Good property with good amenities and good location. Looking away from the beach did not upset us because I knew about it. The noise from the bar across the street was loud but again we didn't have a problem with it. Nothing to complain about. We had a great vacation and would rent this apartment again.

NOT HAPPY

When we arrived there, we had no clear direction as to where to check in. After stopping at two different offices both of which made us feel inadequate of finding the right location. We finally found our office and was sped thru check in and only to discover around 7:30pm we were not issued key fobs!!! We finally got ahold of the manager on call and we were gratefull for her bringing them to us however we lost 1.5 hours of beach time on our first night. We got settled and started to enjoy our vactation. the third day i beleive we had a package sitting outside our door that wwas not ours!! but a nasty note was left on our door indicating that we are not allowed to have deliveries and we are to keep the sand on the beach and not on the hand rails!!!!!!! WTF we are on the ocean. we did not have an exceding amout of sand anywhere, we rinsed off before coming up to the room. my mother worried all night thinking it was her fault and we were in trouble. sad way to spend one of the 3 nights she got to enjoy a vacation. we did recieve an appology for the note but damage could have been avoinded if said person knocked and asked us if package was ours and address the sand face to face. overall nice condo but the service will stop us from using this VRBO again.

Madeira Norte- Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is definitely in a great location! You can walk across the street to John’s Pass to shop and dine. There were only two in our party but with the two bedrooms both with a king bed would easily accommodate four people. The kitchen is a little small but the living room and dining area were spacious. It would have been nice to have a few bottles of water in the fridge when new guests arrive especially when it is a late check in, as well as some coffee. There were no Kleenex only toilet paper. The A/C seemed to work well but you are asked not to turn it below 72 so it doesn’t freeze up. If you are warm blooded you may not be too happy. There was no hair dryer but the office brought one the next day. We were grateful that there were beach chairs just no beach towels. With the beach being a very short trek and the nice pool area, I would rent this unit again and hopeful the price would be a little lower. Also the access code should be triple checked that it’s correct prior to the guest checking in, as our code was wrong. Very frustrating when you have hauled your luggage up a hot elevator and then standing there for more than 30 min trying other codes until the correct code was finally given. All in all we had a great trip and enjoyed our stay immensely!

Boardwalk and ocean fun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time. Restrooms down by pool would of been nice and the pool was smaller than pictures on site. Took a bit to figure out where to check in even after I reached the building. Otherwise it was nice.

Wonderful condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Madeira Norte 402 was nearly perfect. It was updated and tastefully decorated. Any friends that visited our room commented on the cute beach/nautical decor and how updated #402 was. The king beds in each bedroom were very comfortable. Unit was very clean when we arrived. Plenty of towels, washcloths and kitchen items. They even provide books, that I discovered our last day! The balcony is huge and faces John's Pass. We usually go for oceanfront, but we were pleasantly surprised with the view and live music we could listen to. The one negative thing was that we only received 2 keys to the gates, stairs and elevators. With 2 teenagers, we are always in different places and that made it hard. Would have been nice to have a keypad, like The Beach Place. However, that has nothing to do with the specific condo, but the condo management. Would definitely stay again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, our family really enjoyed your condo and our vacation!

Great Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 4th year staying at Maderia Norte and have always had a great experience and this time was no different! This unit was nicely updated and offered amazing views... we love to stay on the front side so we can listen to the music from the bamboo Beer Garden and don’t have the blazing evening sun from the beach side. Unit was very clean and loved having the exterior storm door. Only thing was this unit did not have some of the staple items that most usually have... coffee filters, coffee, salt, pepper, paper towels, beach towels. It is well stocked with dishes and cooking items and loved that there was a vacuum and broom supplied as I try and keep it clean and free of sand as much as possible. I have given this feedback everytime and that is I really wish that more rugs are provided and maybe some cleaning wipes. This one did have bath rugs, which was great! However it would be so nice to have something at the front door and slider and down the entry hall to wipe feet and set shoes on to help keep from tracking sand in. Everything was very clean and the amenities of the complex are great and will stay again for sure!

Not what we were expecting

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our family had a good experience because we made the best of it but there were quite a few circumstances that put a damper on our trip. We were only given one set of keys (elevator and beach) which made it incredibly difficult for a family of four with young children to do anything. Anytime my husband went up I would have to go up or else I would be stuck down at the beach for a while because I couldn’t get up to the room without an additional key. The elevator closest to our room was broken and my toddler son and I got stuck on the ground level for probably 7 minutes. My husband questioned one of the maintenance men and he Kind of shrugged it off. Unfortunately we will not be staying here in the future.

Comfortable 2 bedroom unit

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit was comfortable. Location was fantastic across the street from John's Pass. The beach was perfect. While the building was having some exterior renovations done the pool was closed ( which I knew when we booked). The unit itself is perfect for a family. The 1 1/2 bathroom setup is not ideal for two couples in my opinion ( lacks privacy). The deck facing the Gulf Blvd is enjoyable to set out in the evenings and listen to the entertainment from John's Pass and view numerous exotic cars etc.
