The Sanctuary is in highly sought after South Fremantle.

Freshly presented with new furnishings, lots of light and a private tropical pond garden, The Sanctuary is a great place to relax with all that South Fremantle has to offer on your doorstep.

The Sanctuary is a Klopper architect designed home with mezzanine bedroom, exposed industrial steel span trusses and reclaimed timbers plus bespoke glass art that will delight.

WIFI, parking, king bed, air conditioning, smart tv.

Original timber floors, recycled brick feature walls, soaring raked ceilings with exposed industrial steel trusses and porcelain floor tiles compliment the modern décor.

The kitchen with dishwasher, wall oven, induction cooking and masses of cupboard space is fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware and some pantry items. Breakfast bar living or long work station with bar stools.

Stone top vanity with glass basin. Custom made oval spa bath offering the perfect indulgence after a hectic day. WC and walk in shower or shower in complete privacy outside!

The Sanctuary has an abundance of natural light and overlooks the tranquil and secluded rear garden and courtyard.
Cascading water feature surrounded by tropical landscaping and a glorious Poinciana tree.
Fencing constructed from mixed materials including handmade glass panels and a set of Goan timber doors.

Master bedroom on the airy mezzanine level with remote controlled ceiling fan. Louvred windows that receive the refreshing Freo Doctor ocean breeze and cross-ventilate the home.

Laundry with new washing machine and clothes dryer.

Gated entrance and located behind a renowned glass gallery.

Parking in the dedicated off street car bay to the side of the building.

South Fremantle is a very special, unique neighbourhood with the ocean on The Sanctuary's doorstep. South Beach is renowned for its family friendly grassed area, cafe and swimming beach.

You will love wandering around the small side streets checking out the renovated historical workers cottages and pocket sized gardens.

Peaches organic green grocers and the Freo Fresh IGA supermarket are 5 minutes walk away with a chemist and specialty stores (incl a great shoe shop ladies!).
Popular local artisan bakeries.

We loved our stay in this modern, clean and spacious apartment. Very unique with lovely decorative touches. Full kitchen, large bathroom with amazing shower, loft bedroom, lovely comfortable leather couch and dining table overlooking a beautiful backyard garden. Close to Freemantle shops and market. Highly recommended.

Beautiful flat with garden. Very well maintained, everything you need for a wonderful stay is there. Short distance to the beach. Very nice cafés, restaurants and shops around. The bus stops right outside the door to take you to the train station. Simply wonderful.

Alison was responsive to every message and wonderfully helpful when we arrived including tips on where to eat. She operates a gift and clothing shop in the same building with the best linen and wool/cotton and alpaca/possum clothing. The free bus into the Fremantle CBD is in front of The Sanctuary with service every 10-15 minutes.

lovely summer stay

2nd time staying here. Great location with mix of serenity of own private courtyard garden and good access to cafes and bakery nearby. Bus stop literally outside the front door. Happy to stay again when visiting Perth and Fremantle.

Calm oasis in a good area

Well set up for a couple. Just off busy South Terrace, with all its amenities, the Sanctuary is a quiet space to relax and watch the birds play in the trees, before you head back out.

It was great to see the nesting Gallahs in the courtyard, and hear the frogs in the pond. Great food was within walking distance in all directions.The bed was comfy and the place had every amenity we needed. If you visit, make sure you can navigate stairs at night, since the bed is in the loft and bathroom downstairs. The host. Allison, was super friendly.

Great spot in South Freo

Beautiful calm spot with loads of great beaches, amazing sunsets, great local cafés, restaurants and bakeries. Lovely apartment with a tranquil garden and pond. Well equipped and a very comfy bed. Great public transport links, no need for a car.

A Real Sanctuary

Really well appointed apartment. Right in the best part of Fremantle. Close to restaurants, cafes and the beach all in walking distance. Lovely and quiet with outdoor seating to enjoy the lovely fresh ocean air. I would highly recommend this apartment to all my friends.

Brilliant birthday treat!

Lovely 3 day stay to celebrate my birthday. The Sanctuary truly lived up to its name and allowed us to explore Fremantle - particularly South Fremantle - at our leisure. Such a treat for us to walk everywhere and enjoy the cafes, restaurants and interesting shops of Freo, whilst having the beautiful and very comfortable Sanctuary to return to. We'll be back!

Beautiful and Impressive

The property was everything in the listing and more. So beautiful and yes the outside shower was one of my favorite highlights. The huge windows upstairs was also so wonderful and the tub Amazing. The neighborhood so much fun and Wild will be a long time memory.

A true Sanctuary

A spacious and peaceful haven in the midst of South Freo. We really enjoyed our week here. The house has everything you could want. Loads of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance. One minor downside is the parking - very small space around the corner from the entrance to the property. However there is loads of on-street parking as well.

Freo Charm

Fantastic location, beautifully presented, all amenities you could possibly need, comfortable bed, amazing giant spa bath (think Pretty Woman) and great communication with owner. Downside for us was no curtains in the bedroom and the bathroom was downstairs, while your bedroom and clothes were upstairs, a mirror upstairs would be beneficial. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Great location

Perfect stay for a couple. Can become hot and stuffy in the upstairs bedroom (open plan), however (noisy) ceiling fan and air con available. Great location ~ everything within walking distance. Franks gourmet butcher was excellent. It would have been nice to have face washers, tissues and champagne glasses availablr however the kitchen was fully equipped. Great decor. Would highly recommend.

Ideal

All good. Host was close to and very helpful. Needs a little bit of TLC in the garden. Ideal for the beach. Everything is there that you need. Only spoilt by the neighbours dogs barking everytime you moved. A quiet G&T in the private garden was not possible. Otherwise good stay. Close to shops and a nice cafe.
