The cottage is family friendly with three bedrooms – a master with king bed plus ensuite, another king bedroom and a bunk bedroom.

This isn't just any beach house. It's a beautifully curated time capsule where mid-century style meets modern comfort, where every corner tells a story of seaside holidays and endless summer days. The moment you step inside, you'll feel like you've discovered a secret; your own private slice of coastal paradise in the hidden gem that is Currarong.

Where will I be?
Currarong isn't just a destination, it's a feeling. This secluded coastal village has managed to stay beautifully untouched, where the biggest decision you'll face is whether to explore the famous picture-perfect Honeymoon Bay or simply spend another day lounging by your own piece of paradise.

The Beecroft Peninsula spreads out before you like a playground of natural wonders. Point Perpendicular Lighthouse beckons for scenic drives, while Jervis Bay National Park offers walking tracks that lead to breathtaking discoveries. When you're ready for a bit more buzz, Huskisson is just a short drive away, but chances are you'll find everything you need right here in your own coastal cocoon.

Currarong has a bowling club but no other shops so please bring all the nice cheese, wine, platter supplies and other deliciousness with you.

How is the cottage laid out?
Avalon welcomes up to six of your favourite people with open arms. The master suite is your personal sanctuary - a king-sized haven with an ensuite that feels like a spa retreat, complete with dual rain showers and that gorgeous pebble floor that brings the beach indoors.

Two more bedrooms mean everyone has their perfect spot: another luxurious king room for the grown-ups, and a fun bunk room where the kids will have their own adventure base.

The heart of the cottage is the open-plan living space where stories unfold naturally. The kitchen isn't just functional, it's the kind of space where everyone gathers, where morning pancakes turn into all-day conversations, and where the scent of fresh coffee mingles with ocean air. The dining room, bathed in golden morning light, becomes your favourite spot for lazy breakfasts that stretch into the afternoon.

The well-equipped kitchen has a gas cooktop, electric oven, integrated dishwasher, full-height fridge with separate freezer and a large compliment of kitchen utensils.

Children are very welcome; however, we do not provide cots, high chairs or any other amenities specifically for babies or young children. Whatever you need, please bring it with you. The cottage is not baby‐proofed and we trust parents’ judgement in regard to this.

The master king bedroom has luxurious quality linen and fluffy pillows, and a super comfy mattress. A separate dresser and hanging wardrobe – with lots of hangers – provides plenty of storage.

WiFi, Internet, TV - will I have it?
Stay connected when you want to, disconnect when you need to. Avalon offers high-speed Wi-Fi (password in your pre-arrival email), and the 43-inch smart TV lets you cast favourite shows for cosy nights in.

While we work hard to keep everything running smoothly 24/7, remember you're in a charming seaside village, so having a digital backup plan never hurts.

Honestly though, you might find yourself caring less about screens and more about sunsets.

What about outdoors?
The deck is where the magic happens daily. Picture yourself at the outdoor dining table with beach views stretching before you, solving jigsaw puzzles, sharing meals, or simply watching the world go by at its perfect coastal pace.

The hidden gas BBQ makes outdoor cooking effortless. The outdoor hot/cold shower behind the cottage becomes your post-beach ritual - there's something wonderfully liberating about rinsing off salt and sand under the open sky.

Is my pet also welcome to stay?
Your well-behaved four-legged family member is welcome too - because we know the best adventures are shared with everyone you love.

The fully fenced yard gives your furry friend freedom to explore safely (limit only one dog is permitted).

We ask that pets stay off furniture, the daybed, and out of the bedroom. If your pet will be inside at night, please bring their bedding.

Clean up after them, and everyone's happy. If extra cleaning is needed to remove pet hair or dispose of waste, we'll use part of your bond.

Keeping warm or cool?
Avalon was built to dance with the ocean breezes - windows open wide to let the natural air flow work its magic. When cooler weather arrives, heaters ensure you stay cosy.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Luxurious linens, plush fluffy towels, and all the essentials (including TP and tissues) are provided year-round, because your holiday should start the moment you arrive.

Just remember to pack your beach towels and, most importantly, that special bottle of wine for sunset toasts.

Is there a minimum stay?
Minimum stays start at just two nights, extending to three nights for long weekends and during our magical peak season (mid-December through Australia Day weekend in January) and four nights at Easter.

Because honestly, you'll need at least that long to truly unwind and soak in the magic.

Are there any special rules?
Strictly no parties at this property. You will be evicted if this rule is broken. We do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Parking for cars, boats, etc?
Easy off-street parking for one vehicle right on-site, plus free street parking throughout the area. One less thing to worry about while you're in holiday mode.
