Our family has rented this house a couple of times before, and it has always been a great and comfortable stay. I must say we found no cleaning issues or maintenance issues like others mentioned on our visit at all. In fact, the house seemed freshly updated in several ways. Unreservedly, I give this property a top review for our stay. They deserve it.

Beach vacation

This was a really great location for Emerald Isle beaches. The back yard is great for kids and the neighborhood was really quie. Plenty of house space for big families.

Winter family reunion

Property was spacious and clean. In a quiet neighborhood about 10 miles from the beach, it was perfect to visit our military granddaughter

Such a welcoming and spacious home.

We had 2 families sharing the space with room to spare. I and my 4 kids and my cousin came with her husband and 4 kids. The neighborhood was safe and family oriented, the house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We will absolutely return for a longer stay next time!

Just wonderful

This place is just what you need! We are locals waiting to close on a new home and this was perfect! My extended family has used it before also. Its has plenty of room and everything you'll need for a restful vacation! 👍👍💗

A Wonderful Stay in Stella

I don't know about that one bad review, but we decided to take a chance with all the other great things people said about this place. (I guess that renter had an axe to grind or maybe the former cleaner was terrible??)Anyway, we found the house lovely, absolutely clean and well-stocked. Everything worked great, the kitchen had any convenience you could wish for. The place had lots of space and privacy for what we paid. And so convenient - we made a day of it at the beach a couple times and made some wonderful memories. It was great having a separate playroom for the kids and fire pit to enjoy s'mores a few nights. The owners definitely thought of everything a renter could want and it's obvious they love this vacation home by the way they care for it.Thanks for sharing your sweet "Stella" with my family. We hope to be back again soon!

Dirty... dirty .... dirty...

Dead bugs, the housekeeper had not cleaned after the last guest... the house was full of flys, so much rust from the water ... took for ever to receive info on getting it corrected from the house owner. Evolve was involved every step of the way tho. Btw the tub is listed as jetted and it definitely was NOT jetted which was something i used to make my decision to rent this home

Mixed feelings

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with a Dollar General close by for essentials. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the others all have a queen size, which was harder to find than you might think, and the biggest reason we chose this house. The kitchen has a variety of items for meal prep, plenty of dishes and silverware, and the dining room accommodates a large family nicely. However... There were a lot of things about this place that, had we known about them from the beginning, we would not have chosen this house. We found out about hidden chores after making our final payment - such as being responsible for washing all towels and linens to be ready for the next guests, instead of things being cleaned and sanitized by a cleaning crew. On arrival, we found some rules and expectations in the binder that we found unrealistic - such as not being allowed to sit on furniture if you had worn sunscreen that day. The house was surface clean, but had areas that were obviously neglected over time. Also we pulled multiple dirty dishes from the cabinets, the washing machine was so loud we couldn't have a conversation in the next room, and we didn't risk spending time in the yard after being informed it was infested with fire ants. Overall, we felt the owners were far more concerned about how we took care of their home, than they were about our feeling "at home" while we were there. We wouldn't choose to stay in this house.

We always strive to set clear expectations, and our check-in and checkout instructions are provided immediately upon booking confirmation. As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like starting a load of towels, while a professional service deep cleans and sanitizes the home between stays. We've followed up with our cleaning crew to ensure all details, including checking dishes, strictly meet our high standards. Our lawn professional treats for fire ants regularly, and we share information in our welcome binder simply as a helpful heads-up for guest awareness. We wish you had reached out during your stay so we could have stepped in to assist with any comfort preferences in real time. Thank you for helping us improve future guest experiences.

Nice place, lots of room, clean and lovely decor! If you have little ones, they have all the amenities you would need. No cable, only streaming services. Would stay again.

Great stay!

We came from out of town for a race, and this was the perfect house to host us and our race team! The property was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. We had a little mishap with the water, but the owners were very easy to get in touch with and solved the problem! Nice quiet neighborhood and very close to Emerald Isle.
