We also really appreciate you sharing your note about the refrigerator. Just to clarify for future visits, it is actually kept on and running at all times (no dramatic “on/off” switch moments behind the scenes). What can happen—especially after loading it up with a full round of groceries and with the doors open for a bit—is that it needs some time to stabilize and cool all those items down. Even manufacturers note that it can take several hours (and sometimes up to a day when fully stocked) to reach optimal temperature after loading it up. We understand guests may not know this, so we even put this in all our homes' Guest Guides. Thank you again, and we hope to host you again in the future!

Hi Jessica, thank you for allowing us to host your stay. We haven't had any guest mention the condition of the home before, and in fact, this is a completely new remodel top to bottom. However, if you are referring to the ants, unfortunately, they have been almost everywhere given the lack of rain and they are seeking moisture. They tend to just show up out of nowhere! Needless to say it is temporary and a few ant baits do the trick. Regarding the urine scent, we will definitely get that checked out! That said, we are in a humid and salty seaside location and can have a bit of a smell associated it. We're delighted to hear you had a great time and appreciated the kitchen and decor!

You’re absolutely right that sleeping setups can be a matter of comfort and preference — those upstairs trundle beds are queen sized mattresses and do sleep two when fully pulled out, but we understand everyone has their own idea of cozy! We also appreciate you noting the shared sandy path — it’s part of the charm (and occasional challenge) of being so close to the beach. As for the grill, we will check into getting it super-sized as we do love our BBQ by the beach. Thanks again for staying with us and for sharing your experience!

Thank you for allowing us to host you and your group's Spring Break beach escape, Lois. We appreciate the compliments and feedback. The owner of this home did not want to encumber the beautiful sunrise beach views with window treatments on the unique primary bedroom windows, but we will pass along your suggestion. As for the bath towels, we decided to err on the side of luxurious quality over quantity and provide accordingly. We do share this upfront. Regarding beach chairs, we appreciate the suggestion but have found they typically do not make it back to the house, and if they do, they do not get rinsed by guests and just rust, unfortunately. However, we will pass this along to the owner as well. Thank you again for staying at this beautiful beachfront home.

Hi Lee, yes, this is home is in an absolutely amazing location right on the beach, thank you for noting that and appreciate you allowing us to host your stay! This home was completely remodeled top to bottom less less than a year ago, so we're a bit confused by the TLC comment. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with direct beachfront homes and the salt, sand and humidity and the effects that come with it? We haven't had anyone mention the outdoor furniture falling apart, as it too is relatively new, but our maintenance manager is on it. And yes, this home is dog friendly, and this seems fitting and positive given the 2 dogs you have? As for any scent, as mentioned previously, our location is a very humid, salty and sandy one with that does come a particular seaside smell. That said, while this home does not have any carpet, we have scheduled for the rugs to be professionally steam cleaned. We are adding a dehumidifier (if it hasn't been added already at this point). All bedding including duvets are completely removed and replaced upon every turnover as part of our normal practice. Lastly, as per your note after checkout "we did enjoy our stay, thank you!", we are again a bit perplexed by your review. Regardless, we appreciate you staying.

Hi Synthia, for starters, we're sorry you weren't able to use the community pool at this time due to the HOA's backlog of fobs which was out of our control and the owner's; however, we DID provide an alternative nearby pool (and upgrade) at no cost to you. The good news is, we finally received the fob, and it is ready for the next guests. Yes, there were some heavier Mother Nature rains during your stay, although not flooded roads. Given this home's location and orientation with a long drive and one in which offers higher ground, we're not sure why you didn't just move your vehicles up. Regardless, we're sorry to hear you get assistance to move them. Thank you for the compliments on the home itself, it really is beautiful inside and out, and tips for future guests on the golf cart convenience.
