The property was large, beautiful, and was able to comfortably accommodate 9 adults and 3 children. Andrea was great- very helpful and responsive. Close to blue mountain village - but the property has everything you need, so you won’t likely want to leave! We would definitely book this property again in the future. Gem!

Forest Cottage was an excellent spot for our large family celebration. The house is beautiful, lots of space and bedrooms, and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable. The kids loved the yard with the zip line. It’s close to everything while still providing an in the forest feel. The host was terrific and an excellent communicator. We’d book again!

Forest Cottage is a great place to bring a family or group of friends.Common areas are open and comfortable, bedrooms spacious and well appointed and the bathrooms clean, complete and abundant.The grounds are beautiful and truly gives one the sense of being at a country estate.And the sauna is amazing--and so relaxing!The host is very friendly and ready to respond to any question you may have. They have extensive knowledge of the area as well, providing a terrific source to find out more about the Collingwood, whether it be where to eat, shop, visit, or find an activity. As far as activities go, the Scandanavian Spa and the Monterra Golf Course are literally minutes away. The host can also direct you to one of the many specilty stores in Collingwood where you can browse, shop and secure pretty well anyting you may need for your stay ...from gourmet foods, to grocery options, to great quality retailing. But check with the host frist because Forest Cottage has so much that may in fact be onsite!

Family Fun Getaway! This rental property has it all. We have a large family with grandchildren and there was plenty of room. I really like how there are 2 well appointed King Bedrooms for multiple families and two kitchens in addition to the other bedrooms and living areas. Andrea had the place looking awesome and added personal touches to make our celebration weekend even more special. Lots of activities are there to keep the little ones happy too! The backyard is expansive and well equipped for fires in the fire pit and play space for both young and old. My adult children loved the barrel sauna. In addition to a well appointed property it was close and convenient to both Collingwood and Thornbury ! I’d highly recommend it.

Amazing Weekend and Beautiful Property!!

Me and my friends stayed here for the weekend and it was amazing!! The home is nicely secluded and was only a five minute drive to the Scandinave Spa. The home decor is exquisite and the home is beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and neat. The booking process was super smooth and we will definitely look to rebook another stay here!

Birthday getaway

I booked this property for my wife's birthday and stayed there for 3 nights with her my kids and my dog. Everything was as advertised, Andrea is an excellent host, she really cares about the guests, she goes beyond what you would expect. My whole stay and experience was perfect!! Fabulous Cottage!

The best cottage we have ever been to! I wish we could’ve stayed forever 🤩 Andrea and Bruce are amazing hosts, they are responsive, helpful, kind and very thoughtful. Located in the best spot possible, anything you may need is within a 5 minute radius. Cottage itself is beautiful and very well maintained. From the moment you set foot outside the car, you are amazed by how thoughtfully everything is chosen and how the place looks like a scene from a movie. They have amazing sense of design, fabulous choice of furniture (including some really beautiful antique pieces) and a very good taste in music😌 Check in process is seamless and the house rules are pretty straightforward and simple, as if you are just, well, at your own home! Not only the place itself looks gorgeous, but also the attention to details is what makes your stay more enjoyable. As soon as you open the door you are greeted by a very well chosen playlist and the smell of freshness and picture worthy corner everywhere. They were kind enough to place anything we may have needed in the kitchen and they even left us balloons for the birthday we were celebrating. This was our first time staying here, but it certainly will not be the last. Thanks to our lovely host family ❤️

The forest cottage is an incredible place to stay for a large group or a set of families. Two cottages in one, set up in an immaculate layout to either be together as a group or be able to go your separate ways after an outing in the Collingwood area. It's perfectly located, close to Blue Mountain and easily accessible to downtown Collingwood as well. The outdoor space is massive - the pictures don't do it justice. Lots of space to run around, sit by the fire, BBQ and of course, hang out by the beautiful outdoor bar. The place is very clean and modern, and has all the amenities that you'd have in your own home and more. Andrea was a very friendly and accommodating host. She was easily available through chat and made the check in and check out process as frictionless as possible. We look forward to staying again!

So lovely!

We had a great long weekend with extended family at this property! The cottage is so well stocked and the beds were exceptionally comfortable - bamboo sheets and cozy duvets! We barbecued every evening and enjoyed a nightly ritual of a campfire with s’mores. The property was exceptionally clean and the outdoor grounds are spacious and stunning! There’s even a beautiful pond with lily pads - so pretty! There are multiple freezers and fridges and this made bringing up prepared food easy! The kitchen had everything you’d ever need to prepare a gourmet feast. Andrea, the owner, made checking in easy. She’s attentive and welcoming and she made sure we had what we needed to make our stay memorable (she even wrote a welcome note, left us Starbucks coffee, and a bottle of wine!). I’d love to return to this cottage soon! A true gem!!!

In the woods fresh and close to the lakes

We have been with all my family. 3 couples including 6 kids and one grand mother. The size was perfect for us. Another good point was that the house has three bathroom and two kitchen. So it makes all very easy for each families. The beds were confortable. Upstairs it was a bit hot because it looks like the A/C units were all at the ground floor. There was TV every where also. For me it is not really good for children. Outside it is really nice in summer. It is better to not go early in the morning and in the evening to avoid the mosquitos. There is a bike path not far that leads directly to very nice beach (5 min by car otherwise - parking fees are expensive in Collingwood 10$/h). Also the city of Collingwood is very close and has all the shops you need. Coming from Quebec it is not the cheapest house I rented but overall we were all happy of our stay. Thanks to the owner Andrea that was always available to answer my questions !
