On the lake convenience, beds were comfortable, kitchen is well used but functional, TVs worked and you cannot beat the lake.

Communication was terrible. No reply on the messages. Cannot get a hold of them on phone calls. Had to call the vrbo agent and had them send an email about sending the property access and check in instructions. We also got bitten by BED BUGS in this place. Almost all us got bitten including children. We just noticed a lot of bite marks upon returning. They need to do a deep cleaning of the place.

We spent three nights here with our daughter, son-in-law, and four boys, and we couldn’t have picked a better place for our family getaway!The absolute best part is the location right on beautiful Woahink Lake. We brought our paddleboards, and having our own dock made it so easy to spend as much time on the water as we wanted. The boys paddleboarded, fished right from the dock, and spent hours just enjoying the lake. The setting is incredibly peaceful and beautiful, and being able to walk out the door and be on the water in minutes was priceless.The house itself was perfect for a larger family. There are four bedrooms, including a bunk room, 2½ bathrooms, and two separate living areas, which gave everyone plenty of room to spread out. One living room is especially fun for the kids and has a Pac-Man arcade game that was definitely a hit with the boys!We loved the large deck overlooking the lake, and having a BBQ made it easy to enjoy meals at the house without giving up that gorgeous view. Between the deck, dock, lake, and all the room inside, there was always somewhere for everyone to relax or have fun.The location was also fantastic for exploring this part of the Oregon Coast. We visited Sea Lion Caves and the Oregon Coast Aquarium and took the boys on two different dune buggy rides, which they absolutely loved. There is so much to do nearby, but some of our favorite moments were actually the simple ones back at the house—paddleboarding, fishing off the dock, and spe

Wonderful lake house!

If you’re looking for a great place to swim, fish, paddle, relax in the sun or play on a sandy shore, this house has all of that! It has a well-stocked kitchen and many fun things to do in the house. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing. Our family of 5 with 3 kids ages 7-11 would definitely return!

Amazing house with a beautiful view!

We loved our 3 day stay here. Such a beautiful view. We want to come back and stay a few days during summer to take advantage of the private dock!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy’s Dunes Lakeside cottage. The host communicated with us before our trip about the hot tub being unavailable -due to storms earlier in the week- which was disappointing, but we were prepared for it. The cottage is right on the lake with beautiful morning views—we could have sat on the deck all day if it weren’t December! It was clean and tidy, and we had room to gather and hang out. We would be interested in returning in warmer months. Thanks!

Our stay at Sandy dunes lakehouse.

We all had a really good time. The hot tub was a hit. Weather was good. One morning rained a little bit but cleared up. Everything we needed was there. Parking was a little bit scrunched, but it was still enough room for us.

Great lake house

Very nice lake house for a relaxing time. Beautiful view. Loved the hot tub for the colder days. It didn't have a coffee maker when we got there, but they brought one over as soon as I contacted them. Very friendly and helpful. Will visit again.

4th Time at Sandy's

We come out every summer to enjoy the lake. Even though it is right on the highway, the lake side is very serene. the deck overlooks the lake and it almost feels like you're on a cruise ship. Perfect swimming right from the dock, and the hot tub is a great addition. Bass fishing is excellent on the lake, even from a kayak. Close to Florence, the dunes and the ocean, but we almost never leave.

Magical

We all agreed, this was our favorite family vacation. The grandkids said even better than Disneyland. We will be back!

Get away

We’ve stayed here several times. The only disappointment was the dirty unusable hot tub.

Great Vacation Spot

This was a great location to do so many activities. The house was clean, tidy and just as described. With the second seating/tv area, it was larger than the pictures showed which is great! We enjoyed the clean hot tub with the view, the kids jumped off the dock, the sunrises were awesome and the home was well appointed for the small amount of cooking we did. Thank you!

I am conflicted writing this review because of how well the communication was with the manager. Upon arriving there was tons of things I had to contact them about regarding cleanliness of the home. The kitchen is not stocked for cooking safely, plastic is falling apart and wood chipping off of them. The supplies are limited, no cleaners for cleaning after yourself, 2 garbage bags, very very little of anything you need to be comfortable like a normal home experience you expect with a airbnb. The dishwasher did not work so we needed to hand wash dishes the whole time. The manger said it has been a new cleaning crew, and he will get it handled with a deep clean for new guests. The pictures of this place look very clean and put together but I think they are tons of years old. The best part about this house and what makes it worth it was the lake. It’s right on the lake, you can’t beat that view! Sunrise was beautiful. So if you like to camp, and plan to be outside the whole time, and eat out, this is the place for you! The manager really will try to make everything right that you need which is a plus… but this home needs a very deep PROFESSIONAL clean and restock before I would stay ever again. It is also about 50 feet from 101, so if you have a dog, it’s very dangerous unless leashed the entire time. The gates to the deck don’t self close and are easily left open and not latched, our dog escaped one time and was almost ran over by two vehicles. I wouldn’t bring my dog again.

Sandy's Lake House

The adults and child loved it. They swam every day. even if it was cold. They paddle boarded. Fished' even if fishing was poor. We all had a great time, and would do it again.

End of summer

Stay was nice. Suggest a new grill. There is literally no bottom left in the one on site and all the burners are held up with rocks from the lakes edge.

Family vacation

The view was like a little slice of heaven. Absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed fishing and taking our kayaks out from the dock. The 10 cameras around the house made the stay feel a lot less private than I would have preferred. There were a few things that I spoke with the property management team about and it sounds like they will be working to get those things fixed for the next guests.
