Wonderful visit to a great house. Beach access is not quite as easy as described, but we would definitely visit this home again.

Spacious and comfortable indoor seating for our family of five. There are four Adirondack chairs on the deck for a great view and hearing the sounds of the ocean. The kitchen and living room are on the top (third) floor above a steep driveway incline, so be prepared for that built in exercise. The three bedrooms and laundry are on the second floor. The grill in the garage is a blacktop griddle and worked fine for our oysters, vegetables, pancakes and bacon while having one of the garage doors open. There wasn’t a recycling bin outside with the trash can.We enjoyed walking 10-12 minutes on the street to a coffee shop every morning on the inlet at Taft near Mo’s Seafood restaurant and then back home along the beach and up the many steps to our street.

Our family loved this property. It has everything you would need and beautiful views! Also, a nice quiet street. We’d love to go back again.

Pros: great location, balconies perfect for watching the sunset, fireplaces were nice and it is a very nice house. Overall enjoyed our stay. Cons: driveway is VERY steep- was scary parking on it. Walked in to bags of laundry in front hallway but just threw them in the garage. No propane on the blackstone so couldn’t use it and kitchen pans were very old and beat up- very hard to cook on.

Nice and comfortable home

The ocean view is awesome and beach access is easy. The kitchen is very well stocked. Unfortunately, the washing machine was not working during our stay but all in all we enjoyed the home.

Family Stay!

Our family had the best time! The house was beautiful and well stocked. We enjoyed the views and easy walk to the beach. The kids loved playing ping pong and foosball. It was easy to make dinners with everything we could’ve needed. Thanks for everything!

Ocean view getaway

Beautiful well maintained home with stunning ocean views! Adorable neighborhood and superb beach to explore. 76 step to the beach and 3 story house provide daily exercise. Not for the physically challenged. We would love to return for another stay.

We stayed 4 nights in May 2026. I notified the management company of my complaints but it has been a week and the listing remains unchanged so here is what I thought. For context, we previously stayed in Olivia Beach so I am familiar with comparative properties. In my opinion, the listing description is generous and exagerated for the actual property. Yes, it has a great location near the beach. However, the grade of the driveway is terrible. It truly is an issue if you have a large SUV or even if you have any mobility concerns. The quality of the telescope was not great so we didn't use it - which was disappointing. We were notified a couple days before arrival that the washing machine would not be available. Based on other reviews - this has happened before. I recommend investing in a new washer & dryer since this is marketed as a premium property. Note, the carpet is definitely old and shows the age of the home. That could be a con esp. if you have small children who may crawl on the floor. We had to make a run to Walmart for ping ping balls. I just think for the price we should not have had these issues. There should be a trade-off consideration even if it is close to the beach.

I apologize the telescope quality and the unavailable washing machine impacted your visit. I’ve passed both concerns to the owner and our maintenance team so they can evaluate a replacement telescope and address the washer/dryer reliability. We’ll also review the carpet condition and consider cleaning or replacement options given your concern about children crawling on the floor. Beautiful place

Liked home and area. Inside could use some kitchen supplies. Hard to make a meal for 9 with only a 8” fry pan, Dutch oven and a couple sauce pans. Tacos, eggs, bacon ect. Learned that a bottle works great to mash potatoes! Cooking utensils are also lacking. Other than cooking it was a comfortable home.

The hit should be listed as 1 person and hopefully working when you arrive.

We feel the rental agency did not take ownership of a faulty shower glass and I believe would be a hazard to anyone who stays in this house . Top floor bathroom should have a different type of closure.

Fun family getaway

The house was lovely and had a great view. It was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. There is beach access to a beautiful, quiet beach down the road (75-stair to climb to get down to it). The hot tub wasn't working while we were there, but that was communicated over a week in advance. What we wish we had known: The driveway is very steep, and two members of our group could not get up and down safely. There is also no backyard at all and minimal plants in the front yard. For a home listed as pet friendly, we didn't realize that would mean walking down the steep driveway and well down the block to find somewhere for pets to relieve themselves.

We recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, it didn’t feel like the value matched the exorbitant price after all taxes and fees. Based on our experience, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again or recommend it to friends.While I appreciated that someone came out to address the dog urine smell, that issue really shouldn’t have been present when we arrived. There also appeared to have been attempts to manage the ants, but they were still everywhere. At one point we had to throw away food we had set on the cutting board because ants had gotten onto it, and they were also in the master bathroom, which made using that space pretty uncomfortable.We also paid a heavy cleaning fee, yet the checkout instructions required us to strip all the bedding, gather all used towels, take out all the garbage, and do all the dishes. It felt like a lot of the cleaning responsibilities were placed on guests despite the cleaning fee.The positives were that the view was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the game room was fun for the kids. Those were the highlights of the stay for us, but overall the issues with cleanliness, ants, and the overall value made it hard to feel that the property justified the price.

Upon receiving your feedback we notified our housekeeping team of your concerns, and asked them to complete a deep clean of the affected areas, including targeted cleaning where the pet odor was reported. We also scheduled an additional pest-control service. Regarding the cleaning fee/check out tasks - the fee we charge covers the full turnover clean, and we only ask guests to take out the trash, start a load of laundry, and start the dishwasher, should they have time to do that at the end of their stay. We will never charge a renter an extra fee if that checklist isn't completed. I'm sorry this wasn't clear - we will review the checklist and our communication to ensure guests don’t feel overly burdened. Please message us through Vrbo if you’d like us to review anything further from your stay. We appreciate the feedback and are sorry we fell short.
