The property you're about to book is one part of a large house that has been divided into two separate units, like a duplex. The house has been soundproofed to ensure maximum privacy for each group of guests staying in the units. Both units are the same size, offer similar amenities, and are located on different floors with separate entrances, ensuring that each group of guests has their own privacy.

Very comfy/cozy spot. Had almost everything we needed. I didn't realize we wouldn't have control over the A/C, but they have heaters & there were several thrift stores nearby to grab a quick blanket for nighttime.

Great place to stay close to the University of Manitoba campus! Clean and spacious - modern decor was very nice. Thank you for special, hotel like touches such as good amount of towels, coffee, tea, oatmeal and instant soups.

The rental unit was amazing. It was clean and well designed. The hosts were very friendly, making sure we felt welcomed and if we needed something they would get it for us immediately (if not within 1/2 an hour). Highly recommended!Thanks for the stay!

This property has a lot of great qualities but there are some challenges people need to be aware of before renting.POSITIVESBeautiful just like photos describe. Great Location.Lots of places to walk dog.Lots of room for two people or small family. Excellent Washer and Dryer.CHALLENGESPeople should beware since it is a basement rental there is a steep stair case to navigate and railing only on one side. The stairs were too steep and slippery for my small dog so I had to carry her up and down every time she needed to go out. Maybe young people would have no issue but for me it was hard. Also may not be easy for very young children or a mother with a baby.The windows open to window wells. So there is no real light or view. People upstairs had a small child that ran across the floor at all times of the day. Not child fault for being a kid but the pounding could.be heard down below. Refund policy for cancellation shown only at checkout which requires a 30 day notice. Property owner sends message asking for a 5 star review stating he gave me one. I feel this makes people not be honest as I only see 5 star reviews on the site. Great place but description should point out challenges and reviews need to be honest opinions.

Weekend Getaway

We stayed for the weekend with our family. This property is a basement apartment but is really nicely done and very comfortable. Stan was very responsive and made sure we had what we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice, it’s a basement but very lovely & clean!

Unit was very lovely & clean. Checkin was good & communication with the owner was very good. Nice private parking & close to the dog park which we used often as we had our dog Bosco with us.

Basement unit with private entrance. Clean, contemporary, spacious. Heating unit was a bit loud when it was fired. All-in-all a nice location for a U of M visit.
