Nyd udsigten og fred og ro i landets mindste hovedstad. Kom og ferier hjemme hos os i Montpelier! Vores studiolejlighed er kølig om sommeren og hyggelig og varm om vinteren. Vi er 7 bygninger væk fra VCFA og en ti minutters gang fra centrum. Der er vidunderlige restauranter, boghandlere og butikker at nyde. Få en rundvisning i hovedbygningen, vandretur i Hubbard Park, eller nyd live musik i byen. Vi er tæt på College Green - et sjovt sted at smide en frisbee, og Morse Farm ligger lige i byen til nordisk skiløb, ahornskræemier eller mountainbiking. Mange attraktioner og aktiviteter i området er en hurtig køretur herfra ... vandre bjerge, fisk i søer og vandløb, kajak og svømme i reservoirer, besøge Stowe, Warren / Waitsfield og sukkerbad, Bolton Valley og Trapp Family Lodge, Burlington og Lake Champlain ... alle er kun 15-35 miles væk!

Homey and Peaceful Respite

Welcoming and friendly, this is a clean and well appointed nook over a garage in a quiet neighborhood. I was welcomed in by the owner and felt comfortable. Easy access to Montpelier and surrounding activities. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent property with a fine, helpful owner. Future renters should know, however, that although there are three comfortable accommodations for sleeping, none can really serve two people. The attic-type ceiling precludes more than one person in the two larger beds and the third bed is a single. But aside from that disadvantage, the property was a delight - clean, well-maintained, quiet, and a beautiful setting.

Perfect location

We loved the location of the property. It had beautiful vistas and was very conveniently located to downtown Montpelier as well as for exploration of that area of Vermont. Beth was very helpful with suggestions and very responsive to our questions.

Summer Stay in Tiny Paradise

I stayed for about 10 days in June/July of 2019 in the small apartment above the garage. It was just me for most of the time, but my partner joined me for a few days. It was just the perfect size, and could accommodate more (maybe 3, or two couples who are good friends, or a small family) since there is an additional small comfy bedroom with a door separating the studio-like space. There is a full kitchen, equipped with much of what you need to cook and serve meals. Since it was summer, Beth provided a portable air conditioner that kept the space lovely and cool. The big picture window near the kitchen welcomes the day with a pleasant view. There is a couch/bed in the main studio space and a comfy chair and barstools at the counter space. I was very comfortable and felt at home in the space. If you're considering staying in the apartment, I would say GO FOR IT. Beth is delightful, Montpelier is lovely, and the space is quiet and comfortable.

Lovely spot in a lovely area!

This was a great spot! It was great to meet Beth, who is so kind and hospitable. She left us great restaurant recommendations. The property is lovely. Walking distance from downtown Montpelier with a beautiful view of the mountains. Totally recommend!

Perfect for 1-3 people!

This place was amazing! It is spotless and modern, and was perfect for an overnight for me and my partner before checking in to VCFA the next day. And it has a view you won't believe! Quick walk into town (6 mins?) where there was plenty to do and eat and look at. Thanks, Beth!

The unit was very clean and well organized; kitchen was well equipped, better than most. The beds were comfortable and the whole place had an inviting appeal.We enjoyed the al fresco dinner on the table and chairs provided that gave us a gorgeous sunset view. Nicely walkable to downtown and supermarket. Beth was terrific to deal with. Thank you Beth, if back in Montpelier, we will look you up.

Beth and family are amazing gracious hosts. This spacious loft-like rental has amenities, privacy, and is walking distance to the colleges. Best yet, it's quiet. Downtown is still walking distance but I recommend a car if you plan on doing any shopping. Highly Recommended as a central location for sightseeing all around Vermont. Will/would stay again.
