Sandy Paws was great!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Sandy Paws. Everyone from 7 to 70 years of ageloved seeing the horses, swimming in the ocean and pool. Walking along the beach and to the sound. The best was seeing all the horses and we even had a mom and her baby come thru our patio. We absolutely loved it. The house had everything you would need for a large group. We enjoyed one of your many puzzles, card games and even read one of the books on your book shelf.

Sandy Paws has a serious kitchen!! Not that you HAVE to use it, but if you do, you'll be happy! ;-) The pool heater is a nice addition to a brisk fall day. You just never know what kind of weather you may encounter in the fall, so having the option of pool heat adds some peace of mind. We're so glad you found Sandy Paws and we hope you will return!

Sandy Paws is a Perfect Beach Vacation Rental.

The property delivered everything as advertised. It was perfect for my small grand babies, easy walk over the dune to the beach, and an easy walk the pool behind the house. House was spacious and accommodated all of my family of 6 adults, 2 grand babies (41 months and 22 months), and two dogs. I will definitely rent again.

HAHA, you are right, it is the perfect spot for a crowd of all ages!! Three living rooms means you don't have to agonize over who gets to watch what on the living room tv since there are THREE living rooms!! ALSO, I don't know about your family, but in our family, there is always a group playing PS5 or some other game, so they can set up and play wherever they want! It's a pretty great setup for any largish family. And the elevator is a HUGE plus to get all the supplies up to the kitchen!! That's for any age group to enjoy!! LOL Thanks for your nice review. Hope you enjoyed your OBX Boil!!!

Lovely home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed in many rentals including in the Outer Banks. Sandy Paws is the best we’ve stayed at - well appointed, clean and just nice and comfortable all around. Location may be a bit far from Corolla if you like heading into town a lot. But if you want a relaxing time on the beach without a ton of people around, Sandy Paws is a truly lovely place to be. The kitchen is organized and had lots of things most rentals do not. The bed rooms are comfortable. We’ll loved the place. We loved our stay!

Thank you so much for your great review. Everyone seems to feel the same way about the kitchen at Sandy Paws! Make your own meals in this fantastic kitchen with enough refrigerators to keep seven days of food on hand. Add the two dishwashers for clean up and all you have to do is work up your appetite while sitting poolside! We're so glad you loved your stay in this comfortable home. Please come again!!

Great family vacation!

We had a great time at Sandy Paws! My husband and children (a 3 and 1 year old) went with my parents and brother. I defintely appreciated all the baby equipment they had available so we didnt have to pack as much. Everything was as expected and the house was great! We did need to some essentials to get through the whole week, like toilet paper, but not unexpected, just something to factor into plans. Good 4 wheel drive cars are definitely needed. My parents had a ford bronco and we have a mazda cx5 and did just fine though. It is about a 40 min drive to get to grocery and shops so something else to consider in plans. Ultimately, everything was as promised and a great stay and we saw plenty of horses right in the front and back yards!

True Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation to Sandy Paws was simply, perfect! The home, location, and amenities created a relaxing getaway from life! This was our first vacation to the Outer Banks and the 4x4 beach location is going to be hard to top! We were away from crowds and most days, had the beach to mostly to ourselves! There are so many positives this house has to offer: elevator, huge open upper floor, pool, hot tub, drive your belongings to the beach, beautiful views, and many more. But really, the best part was the daily visits from the many horses that roam freely. Most times, they were between the houses, on the dunes, or in our driveway! This vacation was definitely one of the best!
Svar fra VrboOwner den 14. sep. 2023
NICE!! Sandy Paws is a relaxing spot in a relaxing spot! What more could you ask for? LOL. The horses love those dunes, and isn't it picturesque to see them grazing? I bet you got some pretty fantastic pictures. So glad you had such a great week. Please consider a return visit. We'd love to have you!
