We were disappointed with the accomodation. My colleague and I came to Sydney for a conference. We wanted to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The studio at the back with the second bathroom had an intolearable smell. We tried for two nights to see if the smell dissipated, but it did not. When we complained to the host, we were told that "as your booking is for only two guests, you will mainly be using the front part of the house." I am not sure how this explanation helped us deal with the intolerable smell.

Thank you for your feedback. We confirm that the smell in the rear studio has been fully rectified. The main house offers two comfortable bedrooms, sufficient for your booking of two guests. While we understand your concerns, we believe your request for an early checkout and refund was unreasonable, as the main house remained fully functional and suitable for your stay.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Luna Residence. The premises were easy to find and parking was just out the front. The premises were clean and well maintained, with good temperature control. Our host was easy to contact, replied promptly and easily accommodated our specific needs. Thank you.

Sydney stay

We loved the uniqueness of this property. It was beautiful and close to the train stations. It was very easy to get around.

Lovely, well-appointed and in a great location

We had a lovely stay. The house is stylish, comfortable with lovely thoughtful touches such as toiletries. The location could not be better and I was so pleased that I could take my much loved dog along to stay with us. Thank you so much Wendy and Wayne!

We had a great stay here, it was a very nice place. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was pretty well stocked with the essentials, communication with the host was good. The thing that wasn't so great was that the WiFi would only really work in the Studio in the middle of the night. Once it got to be around 6 am, it was very spotty and unstable, or didn't even work at all.

A Lovely Place

A lovely house with all that you would need, we especially liked the room at the end of the garden. North Sydney is not a place for those who don't like hills, but we would stay again

Close to everything

This property is a delightful property close to everything. It is in a gorgeous Neighbor hood and provides lovely walks. Lots of steps but this only added to the character of the property. The host was most helpful and we had a wonderful family holiday.

Christmas with our adult family

We live in country NSW. We needed a house to host our adult children at for Christmas and this fitted the bill well. We had a great 3 days. Great location and a lovely house.

Cute but needed a freshen up before we stayed

Nice and cute little place. It did have several spiders and spider webs so it was like no one had been in the property for months and it did have a musky smell and felt fairly damp so we had to open the windows etc. Beds are comfy and had nice linen. Overall a cute little place to stay prior to my wedding

This prevented our cleaners to conduct more frequent deep cleanings that would normally deal with spider webs. We have passed your feedback to our cleaners. We will reinforce them to pay more attention to spiders and spider web, Now the issues have been solved. Thanks Wendy

Loved our stay

Clean, warm (when heating is on), quality linens, good location for Uber eats deliveries for easy meals. We loved the separate living quarters, 2 beds/1bathroom in the main house, 1 bed/1bath upstairs in the guest house. There are a lot of stairs and split level, and the bathroom in the main house is very small. If you have anyone who has mobility issues this place might not be for you. Walk to a small park 100m away, and then to a large park about 500m away. Cafe in walking distance. There isn’t much 3 bedroom accommodation in this part of Sydney that isn’t a unit or small apartment, so we loved having our own space while visiting family a short Uber ride away. I would stay here again and recommend the house to friends.

A beautiful and central home base

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. A lovely heritage home in a quiet neighbourhood and close to everything. It was a wonderful home base for myself and my family to explore Sydney. Wendy was great to communicate with and ensured that we had parking permits for our stay, which was very much appreciated. The home has been beautifully renovated and designed. The kitchen is gorgeous but we found it challenging to prepare our meals as it is in need of essential cooking utensils. There was only olive oil, salt and pepper available. As such, we had to make some purchases for the house (including napkins and paper towels). High quality Nespresso coffee machine but there weren't enough pods for the four of us for the duration of our stay and we needed to go to the Nespresso store to get the correct pods. In future, a coffee press would be a great addition so that guests could bring their own coffee. The beds were comfortable but the linens are in need of an upgrade as some of our sheets were worn and stained. Given the calibre of the home and cost per night it would be nice to have some good linens and towels (as well as face towels). The bathroom in the main house is quite small but the bathroom in the cottage is very spacious. I really enjoyed staying in the cottage. Again, we all enjoyed our stay but a few extras here would really go a long way especially given the cost. Thank you for hosting us Wendy!
