Really neat place and location. Pretty much what we were looking for in that space between actually camping and having some of the luxuries of a hotel or apartment. Everything we needed was there and the host was very responsive with extra towels when requested. Much appreciated. If you're a late sleeper, I'd maybe recommend renting one of the tents a little further back in the complex as there is some traffic and parking noise from the nearby businesses, but it didn't ruin our stay or anything. We do tend to rise a bit earlier though. Still, five stars. Had a blast. Enjoyed some of the s'mores at the fire pit and the grill was a nice addition ! Thank you Karen for the wonderful trip.

Good call flagging the road noise for other folks — we do try to make that clear in the listing pics and description since it's right off the road in Sevierville, but always helps to hear it straight from a guest who noticed it firsthand. Glad the grill and fire pit got some use, that's exactly what they're there for. Come on back sometime.

Beautiful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay so much, wish we could have stayed longer. For avid campers used to tents and pop-ups, this was a treat. This quieter and beautiful valley location was great, with an awesome coffee shop, and other quaint shops right there, and the most stunning views. We will be back!!

Glamping Get Away!

Definitely a cute small pace for a get away! Loved the bonfire and social gathering area. Of course being later fall it did get chilly however thats to be expected when it's 40 degrees outside! Also kids loved the scavenger hunt

Stargazing included!

Took two 6 year old boys here for their first glamping trip and had a phenomenal time exploring the glamping tent, the huge lawn area and gazebo, fire pit with provided firewood, and all the cute items at the general store across the street! Highly recommend as long as you can see the advantage of being directly by the road into GSMNP vs having some car noises!

What a wonderful stay in the Copernicus! We had everything you could possibly need, plus extras! We had our two big dogs with and they loved the front deck/porch and waiting to see the cows come to graze in the field across the street. This is on a busy road, but it comes with the location we chose that is next to shops/brewery/ice cream etc. The tent (& neighboring glampers) are far enough away to not be bothered, but close enough to do some people watching. The shower was absolutely delightful! I am already considering putting the same shower unit in our cabin up north in Wisconsin. We are from Minnesota, so mountain view was a #1 search criteria and this place had exactly that! We saw many weather changes over the mountain views. The barn door entrance is great for easy access to/from. We never did find a token left on a scavenger hunt by the owners, we looked everywhere, if we stay here again - I may ask for some hints. LOL. Fun stay all together!

Glamping

The stay was great. Agree with the other reviews that the cars on the road can be a bit loud but we slept very well. The space was great and loved the fire pit and proximity to coffee shop, general store, and hiking. We did have a slight hiccup during our stay which we communicated and the host promptly responded and rectified. They were great!

1st Glamping Experience

We had a great stay. The hostess thought of everything to make our stay wonderful! Provided us with s’mores, snacks, water and coffee. Our pup was treated well also with a kennel, toys and treats for our pup. All you need is your personal items!

We will be coming back next year! We loved everything about this place! Stayed cool during the day (80 degrees outside) and we even had to turn the heat on for the little ones during the night which worked wonderfully. Instructions were very clear and helpful. Great place to stay location wise: beautiful view to sip coffee in the morning. A coffee shop next door along with an ice cream shop, brewery, and souvenir shop across the street with so many goodies. We had a big rain storm come in and sat outside under the awning to enjoy it. Beds were comfortable and the rainfall shower was amazing! Nothing short of a great stay!

Great time

Property description was on point. Everything was just like it said it was. The only con is road traffic noise being next to the road but that was mentioned before hand and it does get hot inside during the day if it’s hot outside but that was mentioned also. At night it was cool in the tent even if it got hot during the day. I would definitely stay again just when it’s cooler weather. Thanks again for great stay.

A cool glamping experience

The tent was beautiful and cozy and it had touches of luxury that made it a unique and memorable experience. The hosts were responsive when we had questions. Wears valley is beautiful and peaceful. The only downsides were road noise and weather one night. A strong wind advisory had us nervous but Copernicus held strong :) I feel like it would be more peace of mind if there were some weather evacuation locations and wind ratings posted somewhere for guests.

Fun, but cold! (And loud!)

We had a great time. The place is really well thought out and appointed. Love the little area with the coffee shop and the beautiful mountains. It was super cold out, and the walls are only canvas, so thankfully there were heaters inside, but yeah, the walls are only canvas, so it was a bundle up weekend. Shower was awesome. Beds were great. The road next to us was super loud, though, which was a bummer, and the only real drawback to the place, especially since, again, the walls are canvas. But still, we had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved Our Stay

It was our first time visiting Tennessee and glamping and the Stargazer team made everything so easy. There were no issues checking in or out, the place was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was fully stocked with everything we needed. The s'mores and fire pit were a great bonus! While we were much closer to the road than anticipated and traffic was busy during the day (we went July 4th week), this did not take away from the overall experience (there were earplugs provided but we didn’t need them). We went during a heat wave and the air conditioner had trouble cooling during the day but we were comfortable in the evening/overnight. I imagine if we went again in the Spring or Fall that it would be perfect! The site partnered with the local coffee shop where we received a discount plus a keychain as a memory token. Across the street there is a general store that offers fried pies and ice cream. My fiancé proposed while we were here, so needless to say, Copernicus will hold a special place in our hearts forever. Thank you!

Great Stay!

Overall this was a great stay! The place is so cute and well furnished. I really think they had everything you would need - just bring your clothes and maybe some food. We have 3 kids (ages 5-11) and they enjoyed the kids room with bunks, the egg chair on the porch (they fought over this chair the whole trip), the games, etc. The shared fire pit is so nice. The only negatives is the road noise and temperature of the bedrooms. The glamping sites are right off a the road and the parking lot is gravel, so there is a lot of road noise (until late at night) and the coffee shop employees pull into the gravel lot around 5:30 each morning. Given that the walls are only canvas thick, we heard everything! The property did provide ear plugs, so that will help. Also, the unit's main living area does have air conditioner which cooled nicely, but the bedrooms were very warm. We happened to visit during a heat wave, so it was extra warm. Since we were out of the rooms/tent during the hottest part of the day it was not too bad. Two tower fans were provided, so we just dropped the temperature on the AC unit and put the tower fans in the doorway of each bedroom (to blow the cooler air into the bedrooms). If you need/want privacy of closing your bedroom doors, this would not work to cool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would visit again. However, we would probably avoid the hottest parts of the summer.

Thank you for taking a moment to find out more about us! Since 2021, we have been Tennessee transplants after living in Vermont for most of our lives. I am a veteran of the US Army (HOOAH) and I recently retired from a fortune 500 company to sell short term rentals to investors in Tennessee. Scott retired from his construction company in late 2020 and now works on projects to enhance our rentals.

Our favorite thing to do is ride our Harley’s. For you gearheads, I own a 2016 Road Glide Special and Scott rides a highly customized 2012 Street Glide. We have five children. Two of them have chosen to remain in Vermont; one of them went to college in Florida and never came back! We are lucky enough to have one of our daughters joining us in our business in Tennessee. Our youngest daughter is proudly serving our Great Country in the United States Army (GO ARMY!!).

We would be honored to host you on the vacation of a lifetime in the smokies. These are more than just glamping tents to us. We have been involved with aspects of the hospitality business for most of our lives. Glamping tents were the next logical extension to our flourishing short term rental business. Short term rentals are a more commercial transaction, people generally tend to book them for just an overnight stay while they are out doing other things in the vicinity. Glamping is a magic mix of overnight accommodations and memory making outdoor activities.

Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful mountain view morning with your furry friend by your side on the porch of your luxurious glamping tent and soaking in the Smoky Mountain scenery. A short, pet-friendly walk leads you to the Heavenly Roast coffee house, where you can use your 10% café discount for a tasty coffee and pastry. With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park just a quick 5-minute drive, you can easily access pet-friendly trails for an afternoon of outdoor fun together. Later, prepare a satisfying dinner on the deluxe camp grill and end the day with heartwarming s'mores by the campfire, creating lasting memories with your whole family, including your beloved pet.
