With polished hardwood floors throughout, four bedrooms and an open view of the water, this home has been designed to take advantage of its beautiful location. Boasting a rear deck where you can sit and listen to the sound of birds, see the local koalas and kangaroos, and the splashing of waves by the nearby foreshore, swimming, fishing, and boating can all be enjoyed a stone’s throw away.

Enjoy exploring Raymond Island, visiting the family-friendly, sheltered cove that is perfect for paddling, following the meandering boardwalk along the lakefront, or trying a spot of sightseeing for koalas along the Koala Trail.

Great house in a magnificent location. The name, Tranquility Point, says it all. Water lapping on the shore just metres from the house. Koalas in the trees and kangaroos in the yard, along with abundant bird-life.The only negative is that the property no longer has a fireplace.However, we'll be back again!

It was just what us girls needed, perfect. Our only complaint, was that outside the main bedroom is a leak which would only drip of a night time, which kept the occupant awake.

This house was actually better than the pictures - which is rare!The only complaint that I have about this property is the lack of water pressure in the shower, which is to be expected on tank water. Everything else exceeded expectations and this will become a regular i think!

Great location for a peaceful break

Great spot for a short break. Koalas in the trees along the driveway, clean and well appointed house with expansive water views. Perfect for a getaway.

Worth the price

This were our second time rented this place . This place really clean and the front lake view is very calming and relaxing . Very recommend.

Fantastic view

Girls weekend

2nd time at Tranquility Point with the same group of best friends. We just love the quiet and the wild life. Kayak are a awesome plus.and the views are uninterrupted. Thanks... be back again next year

Great time away from everyday life

So much peace just hanging and be lazy. Kidsnloved how close they were to the water and it kept them entertained for hours. 10/10 would come again

Getaway

The property is isolated and quiet, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounds and wildlife. The kids had a ball swimming, watching kangaroos, our personal koala in the tree immediately in front of the deck and the large array of swans continually swimming up and back past us. Fantastic.

House near the water.

It is a lovely place to stay. The Tv is a smart Tv if you are good with electronics it will be ok if you are not all you will get is Netflix. The septic smells

Super comfy beds and loads of space. I think the property is a work in progress with a bit of a clutter around it but that didn’t detract from the experience. Amazing wildlife right on the doorstep. Reviewer Comments: House had excellent location and lake views but no wood for fire place had to get ourselves booked to watch afl grand final but had no antenna connection had to pay extra $70 to collect portable Ariel from Bairnsdale something we should not have had to do house was net and clean great views from rear deck

Post Christmas Break

Beautiful relaxing break to wind down after christmas. Well appointed house where we could cook for our selves or head over to Paynesville. Lake frontage is stunning and we even launched our tinnie from the back yard. We woke to roos and koalas in our back yard and blue tounges and a black belly in the drive way, bliss for nature lovers. Only feed back was the TV only had Youtube or Netflix so you will need an account but didn't bother us too much as we spent so much time in/on the water. Paynesville also turned on the fireworks for NY eve!

STUNNING - we’ll be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely stunning home, right on the lake with views from front bedrooms & lounge/dining/kitchen. Lovely furnishings, very comfy beds, quality linen, fluffy towels. Gorgeous Belling range cooker & plenty of cookware made it easy to cook meals, which we enjoyed on the back covered veranda, surrounded by friendly wildlife. The house is away from the main roads, completely private with lots to explore just on the huge property, but do go on the koala walk...it’s spectacular...we saw so many koalas in the trees. We’ll be back to this most tranquil escape!
