Itaoca Forest - Riverside, Lake, Native Forest - Guararema

The Bosque do Itaoca house is surrounded by native Atlantic Forest, which covers 13,000 m² of the property, and is bordered by a lake and the Paraíba do Sul River. A gift from nature!<br><br>Thanks to its many natural features, the property offers a unique experience of connecting with nature, combining exclusivity and comfort, and is ideal for groups of friends and families with children and pets, who can create many memorable moments.<br><br>There are many activities to enjoy while connecting with nature: hiking through the woods, exploring the cave, kayaking on the lake, feeding the fish, fishing in the river, sitting around the campfire (which is already set up with firewood, ready to go) to tell stories, play the guitar, and roast marshmallows, feed the geese, play with the chickens and collect their eggs, take a shower under the outdoor shower, climb trees, play on the swings, watch the birds and other animals, have a picnic, play soccer and volleyball, ride bikes, fly kites, and even come up with many other activities and games while enjoying the huge 3,500 m² lawn in front of the house.<br><br>Getting caught in the rain is also fun, but if not, we have plenty of toys and games for the whole family in our playroom, as well as cable TV (Sky + Tele Cine + Premiere) and Chromecast, which lets you stream content from your phone or tablet to the TV.<br><br>The shade under the trees and the rocking chairs in the living room also make for a great little spot to read a good book while enjoying the beautiful scenery.<br><br>If you need to get connected, we have a dedicated work area with a large desk, an executive chair, storage cabinets, and high-quality Wi-Fi (57 Mbps via fiber) that’s 100% reliable, plus a 17-inch monitor.<br><br>The house is newly built, spacious, single-story (accessible), well-ventilated, with open-concept rooms, and fully glazed to take in the beautiful views of the river, the forest, and the lake.<br><br>It features 4 comfortable suites (with private bathrooms) that each accommodate up to 4 people. Of the suites, 2 have closets with hangers and the other 2 have clothes racks with hangers. All suites have glass doors to better enjoy the view, as well as blackout curtains for a good night’s sleep! Portable heaters are available for all suites, providing extra warmth on colder days.<br><br>Since we’re close to the forest and the river, the climate is always very pleasant, and at night, a warm blanket adds an extra touch of coziness.<br><br>We have a wood- or coal-burning stove in the living room that heats the entire open-concept area of the house and can even be used to roast marshmallows in a cozy atmosphere. Sitting in front of the stove and sipping a good glass of wine on colder days is an unforgettable experience! Firewood for the stove is available for guests’ use.<br><br>For added convenience and practicality, the kitchen is fully equipped! For guests who love to cook, we offer a complete collection of 20 Italian cookbooks, organized by region of Italy, to inspire you.<br><br>The laundry room also has everything you need for laundry (washing, ironing, mending) and for cleaning and maintaining the house.<br><br>In the gourmet area, everyone loves to gather around the huge wooden table, crafted by a local artisan. The barbecue is modern, glass-enclosed, with interior lighting, and comes equipped with all the utensils needed to throw a great barbecue!<br><br>Outside, we have a private bathroom with a shower for your convenience.<br><br>The chickens lay free-range eggs daily with bright yellow yolks, which you’re welcome to enjoy during your stay. Mmm… there’s nothing better than fresh scrambled eggs for breakfast!<br><br>We don’t have a concrete pool, but we’ve set up a large inflatable pool with a capacity of 5,377 liters (diameter: 3.66 m / height: 76.00 cm), which can accommodate both adults and children.<br><br>Pets (of all types and sizes) are very welcome and have plenty of space to play! Since the area is fully fenced, it’s also very safe for them!<br><br>
