Excellent property that is well set up and beautifully decorated/designed! VERY clean and everything is updated. It was everything we needed and more! The location is perfect- walking distance to shopping and dining. The communication with the owner was exceptional. I can’t say enough good things about this property and the owners!! The best vacation rental we’ve ever had

This place is an absolute gem. Great location centralized at the base of the Black Hills. The house is absolutely gorgeous. We were able to use the Community clubhouse for a big family barbecue. The owner was very communicative and very easy to work with. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times. We come back every 2 to 4 years for family reunions and will be booking this house again.

This is a great property! We stayed there 2 years in a row now for the college rodeo and its perfect for 5 couples, love the number of bathrooms to bedrooms, large kitchen and dining area for a group to hang out. Clean and very well kept landscaping between the houses. Plenty of parking on 3 sides of the lot, easy walk to downtown area. We loved this property and would gladly rent it again if we needed to stay in the area.

Such an amazing property!! We loved our stay!! This place is super clean, well stocked and a great location! The owners were super friendly and gave us all the info we needed before we arrived. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Our Host was very easy to work with and answered any questions we had right away. We had everything we needed, and we were a very convenient distance from the cute shops downtown to walking from an amazing park and fish hatchery. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was beautiful and worked perfectly for our family of nine which included three generations. The kids and grandkids loved having their own hangout space upstairs and the downstairs bedroom was perfect for us. The check-in had a small glitch with our code not working, but Lainey was able to get us in very quickly. Everything was very carefully planned in this vacation home and we had all we needed! We would definitely come back to the wonderful town if Spearfish! So many great restaurants in the area and everyone was so friendly and helpful. My only recommendation for this little community is that with your new rules of no smoking, post lots of signs to let people know. We had neighbors smoking cigars in the community area that prevented us from enjoying our front porch in the evenings.

Friendly host and very attentive! Great house! Well set up and very user friendly. Everything you need to have your family stay as a home away from home. Easy to cook together and be seated together for meals. Entertainment for the grandkids and exceptionally clean and organized!! Comfortable beds. Highly recommend!!

The host was beyond helpful and hospitable. The house was clean and so spacious. Sometimes lisitings exaggerate how many people can stay comfortably but this one was right on the mark. Very nice property.

Great location

Worked well as we were able to use the outside community patio space. The living room/dinning room area is very small so hard to "hang out" together.

Great place to stay

Loved it! Extremely clean and very comfortable. Within walking distance to downtown, but the area the house is in is completely quiet and peaceful. Had so much fun with the arcade table after long days of hiking and sightseeing around the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Best stay!

We will be returning to elks getaway. The best Vrbo experience we have ever had. So many thoughtful touches. They have truly thought of everything. Such a great location to downtown Spearfish as well.

Lovely place to stay

Our quick stay was wonderful. It was literally like a home away from home for our group. We unfortunately were in town for a funeral and the home was very comfy for 5 adults and a toddler. The property was clean, inviting and one of the best vrbo’s we have ever stayed in. Our communication with the owners was easy and appreciated. We would definitely recommend this place to stay in Spearfish and hope to stay again soon.

Old Monroe group

The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room for gathering and playing games. Loved the cute little signs and coffee on the front porch in the morning was perfect. Everything was there that we needed and very clean.
