Well, I may have lost count, but I think this is our 5th stay here. Still love this place! The current owner is so nice and responds immediately. The house is in an excellent location right on the water with an amazing view. As for the house, it is always clean! Well stocked too. We wouldn't keep going there if it wasn't. Overall, I can't recommend this house enough - the road is a bit rough going in but that is the fun of that island!

This was our second stay at Bella Mer. Holes in outdoor screens, broken screen door latch, no generator, no electricity, no water, no ability to flush toilets, broken chairs, no toilet paper, no drinking water. No internet, no phone service. Had to charge phone with running car. Same dryer that doesn’t stay closed. Tenille had to come prime our water pump at 10 pm. Thank you!! Still awesome view but not luxury

We are so sorry the generator failed during your stay, resulting in a loss of power, water, and internet for you during the island-wide power outage.  The owner has ordered a new generator to prevent this problem from happening again.  The other maintenance issues have already been addressed or are being addressed.

Amazing

Third time staying here so we must love it. Its just the perfect little house for us. Modern and clean - and we love the location. Eleuthera is getting quite popular but still so many private beaches - get out and explore!

Amazing

Bella Mer is absolutely wonderful. It’s spacious, clean and has everything you’d need. Our family had a marvelous time snorkeling, fishing and enjoyed meals as well as drinks right by the sea. Property management was so helpful from the moment we booked should we need informations or assistance.

4 - Very good

The property was well cleaned upon our arrival, plenty of cookware, very nice kitchen. The property in general is missing some TLC and would suggest the following: -Improve the outdoor experience. Loungers are rusted and old. The patio would be amazing with some high end out door furnishings. The possible outdoor experience is amazing -Washer and dryer are in desperate need of replacement. Dryer door does not close -Towels need replacement -Screen door does not properly shut For the value and location, these minor improvements easily move this to a 5 star property. Also, I should note that Tennille is great, very responsive.

Island Paradise

Great location on the caribbean side of the island. Wind was strong (20-30 mph) out of the east most of our trip and being on the western side protected us from some of the wind. House was great and generator was needed as power went off numerous times. Little extras provided like beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, and beach cooler were greatly appreciated.

Rock Sound stay

This is a really nice property at end of a back road. Home has everything you need for a good time. Nosiums were our only problem in late afternoon. Manager very responsive and extremely helpful with anything one needs.

Vacation

Best part was the beach in the back of the house, excellent concrete property felt safe however it needs a little TLC, for ex. Screen in the back porch needs fixing, bath towels need to be replaced, no toiletries just one roll of toilet paper and hand soap, no tv, internet is weak. And the the latter part of the road to get to the house is horrific. Nonetheless, we had an amazing time able to relax and enjoy the beach.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, but we do apologize for the issues.  The screen has been repaired, new bath towels have been ordered, and the owner will provide more supplies going forward.  Later this year, the house will be upgraded to Starlink internet, which is the best on the island, and will have a new TV.

Excellent...as usual!

Wish i could say its awful so no one books it when i need it...but i cant! We love this place and we have rented 4 times now. Love the layout and the location. Most important thing is its clean! One small issue while there and manager Tenille took care of it asap. Thanks to the owners for sharing this place with us...I already rebooked!

Beautiful, Quiet and Comfy!

Bella Mer is such a pretty house with most any amenity you would need (even a wine chiller!). Very pretty interior with an amazing view! The beds were super comfortable and the a/c cooled the rooms quite quickly every evening. Lots of beach gear (although some better beach chairs would be our only request as that is a tough thing to bring but there were lots of floats to hang in the water). Tennielle was very attentive and quick to answer any questions we had. A great stay and we look forward to visiting again!

Ten Bay beach is very close by and a very nice beach. It is secluded so you cannot walk to any restaurants or shops, but its perfect if you want to relax and sit on the screened in porch and listen to the water. You feel like you have the whole cove to yourself. I would love to go back again one day!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! The road is not treacherous, but it is a dirt road, so an SUV is recommended. The house has been rented continually for a year, and no other guest has complained about the road, so it should not be an issue with the right vehicle.

We are a family of 4 (teenage kids) and the house was a perfect size for us. Definitely recommend that you rent a car that is higher off the ground and has 4 wheel drive so that you're able to navigate the 1 mile road to the house.

Bella Mer

Bella Mer is a fantastic home, it was perfect for our family adventure in Eleuthera! The house was clean and well appointed, with many amenities. There were some things lacking they were just small issues (no sponge or washcloth for dishes, not enough laundry soap, no cooking oil). We enjoyed lounging in the gorgeous water right outside of the back door, and the sunsets were amazing! Tenielle was extremely responsive to messages with any issues or questions that came up. The property is secluded, so be prepared to drive if you need anything, but the Midway Cost-Cutter and Eleuthera Island Farms are not too far away; the farm is fantastic, go on Tuesday morning for fresh cinnamon rolls! We will definitely stay at Bella Mer when we return to Eleuthera, you should stay here, you won't regret it!

We didn’t need it, but the owners thoughtfully provided much in the way of snorkeling/ water equipment. Just a great stay all around. And a huge thank you to Kristen and Tennille for working with us on a bit of an early check-in - very much appreciated.

Great VRBO

Great VRBO. House was clean, kitchen had everything we needed. A few issues popped up during our stay but Tennielle and Kristin promptly took care of them. The screened in porch was damaged but was told new screens were on order, understand it takes awhile to get parts. The trampoline wasn't in water think the cover must have been damaged and on order. Snorkeling in front of house is great, Ralvin Buggies tours was a lot of fun. The best grocery store is The Market in Rock Sound. But for fresh veggies and bread Island Farms! We already miss Eleuthera!

Great house, well stocked kitchen, and nice views of bay

We really enjoyed our stay at Bella Mer. It was very clean and the kitchen has everything we needed since we like to cook a lot. We chose this house for the location, as well as the generator due to frequent power outages and the outdoor grill. Needless to say we were very disappointed when we arrived to see there was not an outdoor grill. Also, we had 4 power outages over 3 days forcing us to cook by the light we brought from home because the generator wasn’t working. Power outages happen but not having the generator as promised was beyond disappointing since it was one of the reasons we chose Bella Mer. The snorkeling was excellent in the creek and from the dock. Even saw a sea turtle!

It's immaculately clean (thank you Tennielle), the kitchen is fabulous if you plan on cooking, and Ten Bay beach is literally just around the bend. The road to the house is pretty bad as other reviews noted, but once you're there, you'll love the remoteness and privacy. The floating trampoline is nice for sunning or just grab a float from the porch and a cold beer and float around in the water. Don't hesitate to rent this house; you won't be disappointed.
