Sebring

We had a lovely six weeks stay in this home. It was clean and neat and well serviced. The pool was a little cold however, the sun was wonderful and we spent a lot of time on the lanai.Any issues were promptly addressed and we would definitely stay here again

Great home in a quiet neighborhood. We travels to Florida to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. This home was the perfect setting and just minutes away from everything Sebring offers.

Just what we needed and then some!

The house met our needs wonderfully. It was clean and comfortable. We swam in the pool every day! We would love to stay again when we visit our Florida family.

Short stay

Very nice, clean, Everything was great if I had one thing that could have been better would be the pool was cold a heater would have been nice but since I was here on business with my builder who is building my house and also having a pool installed that madmadr me realize I definitely want a pool heater! You can't go wrong renting this property it would have been nice having a TV that was easy to watch also but the property it's very nice jussealed

We couldn’t get into the house because the key wasn’t in the lock box, as noted in the check-in instructions. It took approximately 2-3 hours between the time we arrived until we were able to reach the owner (only through Vrbo as she did not answer several of my calls), then the owner needed time to figure out what happened to the key, fix the problem, report back to us, and we were finally able to get in. Upon checking out, we easily discovered the problem: the instructions in the house specify to leave the key in the house, but the emailed instructions say to place it in the lockbox. This confusion can be easily avoided in the future by changing the instructions inside the house to leave the key in the lockbox.

We enjoyed our stay in Sebring. The house was very clean and comfortable. Our flight arrived early and we we able to check in early. The house had everything we needed. There is no cable but we were able to connect to wi-fi and sign into Netflix. The pool was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice closets. We would have prefered smaller bed pillows. My only "compliant". Would definitely rent here again! Code to enter is on the bottom of the padlock. I missed it.

Snowbirding

Very clean, well maintained, home away from home type property. Very quiet neighborhood. 5 minutes to shopping, restaurants, & grocery stores. Only issue was- wouldn't advise if you want to use the pool anytime other than summer, as it is not heated. Also- perhaps may be time to refinish inside pool surface. We did go in a couple times, (braved the cold) and anything our skin or suits touched had white on them, which was difficult to remove. Not sure why we had a hefty charge on rental fee by property management company, as whenever we had an issue or question, they had us call Edith- the owner. Seemed rather redundant to me she would need them if we still had to contact & bother her. SHE was WONDERFUL to deal with, though.

Sebring Pool Home

We enjoyed the month of March 2023 at this Sebring home. The pool is south facing with sun all day. We enjoyed awesome sunsets. The lanai was well equipped with practical furniture (table/chairs, lounge chair, zero gravity chairs) and there was a new grill with a full propane tank just outside the lanai for our use. The yard is private (fully fenced), the neighbourhood was quiet and there were lots of birds in a large oak willow tree overlooking the pool who sang to us daily. The house is professionally maintained with a weekly landscaping crew, a pool service, a handyman, and a housekeeper who offered us tips for maximizing our Sebring stay. We found them all, including the owner, to be very responsive to our needs. The house itself is clean, bright and cheery. The furniture and decor is very comfortable. The layout was practical with the master bedroom and the other two bedrooms separated by the common areas. Appliances (laundry, fridge, microwave, etc.) were in good working order. We were provided with two keys and two garage door remotes during our stay. There was ample indoor/outdoor parking. The lake was just two blocks away. Sebring has several inexpensive golf courses, lots of lakes and beautiful weather (80-90’s daily for March). Nearby restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed were The Watering Hole, The Blue Lagoon and Galati’s.

Sad time in Florida!

The first thing we discovered was there was no cable service on the television. They expected you to have your own streaming service. So for the whole month we could not even get major networks! There were ants in the house. I called Evolve and they said they were making a report and would get in touch with the owner,but we never heard a word. The dryer didn’t work well. In the two bedrooms had no furniture other than a bed frame and mattress so we had to keep our clothes in a suitcase. The swimming pool was not heated so we could never use it. This was a very disappointing day and was not near worth the money I paid to stay. We left early and went back home. This was not a good value at all! Also, there was only one TV in the whole house so none of the three bedrooms had a TV. The people that own the house were very nice but I don’t believe they had ever rented it out so they didn’t know what people needed to have for the amount of money they were paying for their stay.

Hi there, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and would like to clarify the following:- Our listing accurately describes the property as having one smart TV, and the photos also showcase this amenity. After receiving your feedback, we installed another TV in the primary bedroom.- The TVs allow guests to sign into various streaming services and apps offering diverse entertainment options. When you informed us that this was an issue, we went the extra mile by covering the cost of Sling for your stay, ensuring you could watch what you were looking for. It's worth noting that our other guests haven't had an issue with the TV setup.- Ants are commonly found in the Sebring area. Upon investigation, we confirmed that there wasn't an infestation; most ants were found outside. Rest assured, we regularly spray the home before and after every stay to mitigate any potential issues.- When you notified us about the dryer issue, our maintenance team promptly assisted and resolved it. The dryer, which is less than a year old, was unable to dry properly due to a significant accumulation of lint in the vent. It's important to emphasize that the vent needs to be emptied after each cycle.- The two bedrooms you're referencing are depicted in the listing photos, providing guests with an understanding of the available furnishings before booking. We encourage all guests to thoroughly review the listing to ensure they select the ideal vacation home for their needs.- From us here at Evolve, after reviewing our communication records, our Guest Experience team promptly addressed your requests during a phone call, and you also spoke with a supervisor. However, as your concerns were related to aspects advertised in the listing, options for resolution were limited.- We're sorry to hear that you didn't find the home to be a good value.
