Great House in St Louis

This centrally located 4 bedroom house with wonderful back decks was perfect for our family to explore St. Louis from. The house was clean, quiet and well stocked. And it was nice to only be 10-15 min from downtown sites. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location for our needs

We were in town for my mother’s memorial service in Forest Park and to spend time at Wash U where my husband went to college. This home was walkable to both those locations and felt safe and clean. Plenty of room for 8 of us and lots of options for food and recreation nearby.

Summer vacation

Great house on quiet street. We stayed this summer and it exceeded all our needs. The day it rained the kids played billiards and darts and watched tv in their own rooms. The rest of the trip it was close to downtown, subway system to catch a game, and a short drive to get groceries. We would definitely stay here again!

Horrible Time in St. Louis With Family

The property would've been amazing for our family's holiday gathering in St. Louis but a mouse or mice wanted to stay also. My handicapped mother and great auntie saw at least one more in the kitchen, an hour into us checking into our rental, and after that I knew my family trip was off to a terrible start. All down hill after that!

Great house for big group

8 of us had a great stay. Plenty of room and fun amenities with pool table, dart board and deck/fire pit. Perfect for visiting my son who attends Wash U. Highly recommend the location. My only complaint was my fault for not reading the fine print. I don’t have much experience w VRBO. Couldn’t check in until 5pm which is later than typical hotels and check out time was 10am with no opportunity for later check out and no place to store bags so hotel stay is more convenient from that stand point.

What a fun time with Family!

Our daughter is an anesthesiologist at SLU hospital, and her husband is a medical student at SLU. Our Son spent 2 weeks (as a Medical Student from South Dakota) at Barnes Jewish Children Hospital in SL. So the rest of us (8) drove to SL from our homes in Texas to have a vacation with the entire family (including our 3 grandchildren). This house was perfect! It became the meeting place each evening for our groups. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was a dream to cook in as we prepared and shared dinner for 8 days. The rental managers were easy to work with and I have only great things to say about the whole experience! We would love to rent again as graduation approaches!

Listing was ok

One reason I went with this property was because it stated it had a crib and highchair on property. We could not locate either. The bedroom downstairs, the bed is falling apart and there was no power to the light or fan, same with one upstairs. The house was clean but is not handicapped accessible, i know this only because i broke my leg 4 days before our trip. This house is more suitable for adults only even though it is close to the zoo.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We totally understand how important these things are. Just to clarify, the crib and highchair are available for rent, as mentioned in the listing. Also, our property isn't handicapped accessible, as noted. We'll look into the bed situation and work on making improvements. We really appreciate your feedback and are always working to make the property better for future stays.

In town for a family members funeral

We were down from Chicago for a family members wake and funeral for 2 days. My wife, our 3 adult kids and our 4 yo granddaughter. The house was just as advertised. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and plenty of quality soap, shampoo and conditioner in the showers. Huge well stocked kitchen, great back and fire pit which we used one night. The house is very large and accommodated all of us very well. Communication with the host was excellent and while they ran a background check (something I haven't experienced in my many VRBO rentals but I appreciated it and took it as a concerned host who cares about their home. The only downside is that while the pool table in the living is nice we missed a room where the 5 adults and toddler could all hang out together in comfort. But that was a minor glitch. Would definitely stay here again!

House was fine; property management communication poor

I reserved this house about 6 weeks before Thanksgiving. The house itself was fine--we enjoyed the pool table & darts & its location was great relative to where my St. Louis family lives. The kitchen & baths updated & nice. Furniture throughout house pretty sparse. The big issue was that I kept getting computer generated requests for information (including uploading my drivers license; never been asked that before). This is a company, not an individual person that you deal with. I must have gotten over 25 emails from them prior to arrival. It was very annoying & disconcerting. I was finally able to talk to a manager who helped with getting early check-in.
