Graduation visit

The property was spotless, had a clean and fresh feel to it. We're from Tucson and visit family there often. Best property we've been to by far. Spent lots of time on the patio with family and friends. My grands were able to enjoy the pool. Will definitely try to stay here again.

Nice stay

We stayed as two pairs of couples — Drew’s place was big and we enjoyed our stay. Spent a lot of time in the hot tub in the backyard, which was amazing. Easy drive to different parts of the city. Drew was also very responsive and great with communication!

The home was comfortable and had most everything we needed. That said, the sheets in the master bedroom need to be replaced. The bottom sheet was very "pilly" and not all that pleasant to sleep on so we just slept on top of the top sheet instead of under the top sheet. The home needs a little TLC but was overall acceptable.

Charming home in convenient area

Wonderful home with well appointed furniture that had an artisan, homemade feel- very comfortable. Kitchen was convenient with all necessary features. The home was clean and bedrooms comfy with good beds- we slept well in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the hot tub & pool, which were both clean. In fact, the pool guy came one day. Would definitely return.

Tucson House w/pool

We found this home wonderfully located for anything we wanted to do. Owner was readily available for anything we needed. After a day of doing the sights it was wonderful to come back to home base and jump in the pool, then use the hot tub. We enjoyed looking out the wall of windows in the back at night. The lighting set up in the yard was so nice. Found the home had everything we needed.

All-around great experience

Start to finish, our stay here was great. Our host, Drew, was helpful and extremely responsive. The property is as described, plus is spacious, welcoming, and clean. The pool, hot tub, and grill were all ready for us. The master suite is large and luxurious. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. This was our home base while in Tucson for our daughter's graduation from the U of A, and it worked out perfectly. It would also be ideal for a group combining work and pleasure, as there really are multiple workspaces and the wifi worked well. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming Gem in South Tucson

We just checked out after enjoying 4 nights at this property. Very roomy, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful patio! The hot tub was very much appreciated on the colder days and in the evenings. Even though the pool isn’t heated, we definitely made some cannonballs on the hottest day we had. Neighbourhood is quiet, beds were comfy, everything was wonderful. We will most definitely consider this for the next trip to Tucson!

Lovely

some snafu with the check-in, I'm not sure who wasn't communicating with whom on the back end. Cotton sheets would have been nicer in the heat over synthetic ones... Otherwise, a lovely house with a great pool.

Good stay

This was a good place to stay in Tucson. It was easy to get into the house when we first arrived and the house was extremely clean. This is a very spacious house with three bedrooms and two baths. There are also two living areas and a small "office" space. This was great as we were all working and needed places to zoom. The kitchen and baths were nicely updated and had everything we needed. It was also great to have outdoor space. There is a shaded pergola, which is great to sit under. There is also a pool, which we didn't use, as it's not heated and it was too cold. However, there is also a hot tub, which is the reason we rented the house. Despite me messaging the week before and asking the host to be sure that the hot tub was ready for us, the water was green when we arrived. The host sent over a neighbor to drain and refill it and then the pool guy came over the next day to chlorinate. I really appreciated that they fixed the problem, but if this is important to you, I would recommend that you insist that the hot tub is checked the day before you arrive. The location of this house is in a convenient neighborhood. It's about 10 minutes to U of A, 15 to downtown, 20 to Sabino Canyon and the east side of the national park. There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. It is a middle class neighborhood - not fancy but safe feeling. I took walks every day and felt safe. Overall good place to stay.

Nice place - but you can’t enjoy it

Very nice house with a great location and a beautiful backyard. However, I would not recommend staying here if you’re planning on having any friends or family over to visit. We came to Tucson to visit our son who is attending UofA, and we invited him and 4 of his friends over to the house one evening for dinner and games. We enjoyed sitting around the outdoor fire table catching up with our son and his friends. We observed the posted quiet hours by moving indoors before 10pm so that our talking or music would not possibly disturb the neighbors. Unfortunately, at 10:30 we received an abrupt phone call from the management company stating that we violated the rules by having “a party” and that at no time are there more than 5 people allowed on the property! Additionally, they said if they did not leave within an hour that we would be evicted from the property. Are you serious, this is a 3-bedroom home that we paid a lot of money to rent and you’re expecting a maximum of only 5 people at the house at any one time…ridiculous expectation! Not sure if a grumpy neighbor complained, or we were being watched on a security camera somewhere…exactly how did you know that we had 8 people at the house and not 5 or less? Suffice it to say that our family will not be renting at this location in the future, and recommend that anyone that considers renting here make plans to visit with friends/family elsewhere.

Hi Kristi, we're glad you appreciated the nice home, wonderful location, and beautiful backyard. After sending your feedback to the homeowner, they wanted to clarify the following:- The house rules, outlined in both our listing and pre-stay information provided to guests before and after booking, specify a maximum occupancy of 5 guests, allowance for only 3 vehicles, and strictly prohibit parties. Unfortunately, all of these rules were broken during your stay.- Our neighborhood watch diligently monitors the property, complemented by our exterior cameras, as we've also detailed in the listing and pre-stay. We encourage guests to thoroughly review this information before and after booking to ensure they're comfortable with this.- While we want guests to enjoy themselves, we also expect them to respect and abide by our house rules. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.
