Absolutely Winderful!

We had the most fantastic stay again! The river view is soo very relaxing and the wildlife is great to see. We have stayed in this house three years in a row and we are already booked for next year so I think that says something. The house is beautiful and we love Renee! Thank you for havibg us agin this year and we look forward to 2027!

This place was amazing from start to finish everything and anything you can possibly need or want is right there!!!I rented this home for my son‘s wedding this weekend and had family and friends come in to enjoy this beautiful home in the woods:) This is home exceeded my expectations!! We will definitely be back!!!!

Anniversary Trip

Marker 38 is amazing. The house has everything you could need and more. It was also the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in. We enjoyed fishing, shuffleboard and relaxing in the pool. The sleep number beds made us feel at home. Already planning a return trip!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property. Great communication with property manager which was seamless and helpful. Many indoor and outdoor activities offered and thought out with care.

Amazing Home

The home was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool area was so relaxing and we also enjoyed the pool table. Best part though was the visiting sand cranes and turkey. The hosts are very attentive and we can't wait to stay again!

I get together with 3 high school buddies each year, we are all retired now. We like boating, BBQ and just hanging around. This house was by far our favorite location and the amenities and level of service was outstanding. We will be back new year.

The best of everything!

This is our second stay at Marker 38 and was another amazing stay. From the patio, we saw a lot of wildlife including a manatee family this time. This home has everything you need and more. It really is the best of everything!

Return as great as the first time!

My husband and I stayed for 3 wonderful weeks at this superb house. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and very hard to leave.The house is extremely well equipped, and just like the pictures. They really have thought of everything you need to have a special vacation.We loved it so much we hardly went out - just relaxed with the mesmerizing river views, the wildlife and the heated swimming pool.We will be back!!

Second Stay — Just as Amazing

Darren & Betsy — thank you again for opening your river house to us. This was our second stay, and somehow it was even better than the first.This time we were lucky enough to share the home with my mom and sister, and they both loved it just as much as we did. Paradise on the River

The house and location are both perfect. If you’re looking for beauty and solitude close to downtown DeLand, you’ve found it! The hosts have gone out of their way to make your stay amazing. Strongly recommend!

Great gathering place

I have family that live near by and we were coming into visit. Stayed here and allowed everyone to hang out. We loved the pool and the pool table. Beds were comfortable and owners were super responsive and flexible. Will stay here again.

Beautiful vacation home

This home was incredible it fit our family just right. The decor was top notch. All furniture was extremely comfortable and so many inside and outside games to keep you entertained for days. The outside decks just went on for ever just fantastic not to mention the boat dock the kids fished and played in the luxurious pool this house is amazing we will be back again!

Exceeded expectations!

Marker 38 exceeded our expectations! It has everything we needed and more. It is a beautiful and private location within an easy drive to Orlando or the beaches. The owners have truly thought of everything and you will have everything you need and more at your disposal.

Great Stay!

Great location and great house layout and design. Great set of amenities - everything you need. Host responds quickly. Enjoyed the wildlife. Several outdoor and indoor games. Nice kayaks. Pontoon rental just 10 minutes away. We never stay at a house twice but this place can easily be an exception.

Squeeps Retreat

We are a group of long time friends from around the country that get together once a year to enjoy time together. We loved the house and the deck! Seeing the alligators and birds was awesome! We already booked for next May! The property manager, Renee, is the best!!

Awesome getaway house

My family and I had a great time at this spectacular house. The layout of the property offers a little of everything. Lake access, beautiful views, a nice cookout area, a dock, and trails within walking distance. The host provides more amenities than I've seen elsewhere. Board games, outdoor games, kayaks, snacks, coffee, etc. Very well appointed. We all agreed that this was by far our favorite rental so far.
