Originally we were gonna stay at a hotel until I had the thought to compare prices and I am so glad I did!!! For 1, it was slightly cheaper than the hotel and 2, it was so amazingly beautiful!Our favorite was sitting out on the porch with the morning coffee & just enjoying the surroundings! Our youngest loved being able to go outside and explore. We came from WA State for a wedding; this was a perfect break from sage brush & cheat grass. Would love to stay again & highly recommend you do.

Relaxing!

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin! It was quiet and relaxing, and close to Yatesville lake. I would stay here again!

Nice and quiet. Close to the lake for a little fishing. Firewood on site was nice.

Cute little cabin

Cabin had everything we needed for our weekend getaway! Perfect size and location! Everything was clean and beds were comfy. Washer and dryer would have been a bonus but we survived🙃

Great Getaway

I was looking for a quiet weekend getaway, where I could do some crafts and read a book without my kids interrupting; this was exactly what I was looking for. Check-in/out was really easy, cottage was neat and clean, and it was conveniently close to home, while seeming far away. I would totally rent again.

Family Visit Road Trip

Having decided to take a road trip to visit family, we started looking for a centralized location. This cabin not only fit the bill but ended up being beyond out expectations. It was the incredibly clean, peaceful (the back deck!) and outfitted with the everything we could need. The host, Glenn, sent a welcome text within minutes of our arrival and checked in a few times during our stay. We would definitely go back!

Kayak outing

I like the a frame and owner was nice enough to allowed me to store my custom made kayaks in the garage. Liked the lake except for the Casting for Kids pro bass fishing Tournament. This is no place for a kayak while it’s in progress. Fortunately, Grayson Lake is in driving distance. Grayson has got to be the coolest flat water kayak lake. There is a nice 7 mile loop for hiking close by.

My Favorite by far

I’ve rented cabins in several different states. This is my Favorite. The hosts were absolutely amazing people. The pictures and description listed are accurate but the place is much better in person. Check-in couldn’t be easier. If you forget any toiletries, they have everything you could think of. The fire pit was a big hit, it made that back yard glow and the sound of the creek just made it complete. Don’t take my words for it, go check it out yourself! We will definitely be back!

Birthday getaway

My husband and I had the most amazing and relaxing time. The cabin was so beautiful, secluded and peaceful. There was no detail spared for providing us with anything we might need while there. Glenn was the kindest and most helpful while planning this trip all the way to checking out. He is the kind of owner that you want to come back and stay again. He was just so great to work with! His pontoon rental was perfect! We enjoyed an exceptional day on the lake and he made the process so simple. The cabin provided us the peaceful break we were looking for. From the beautiful floor to ceiling widows in front to the private wrap around porch and deck in the back. We loved every minute there! We are already planning a return trip! Thank you again!

Everything So Well Thought Out

The owners keep this place well stocked with stuff you might need. Bandaids! Bug spray! Tons of towels and wash rags. Dish soap. Paper towel. I even saw a spare phone charger and cord! We did this vs a hotel while visiting family in town. One night we hosted a bbq and cooked burgers and dogs. The grill, the picnic table, the comfy Adirondack chairs, and the extra folding chairs came in real handy that night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking!

Loved the cabin!

We really enjoyed the cleanliness and functionality of the cabin. The master suite is on the main floor and directly across from the bathroom. The kitchen was cute and clean, and had everyrhing we needed to make our meals for the three nights we stayed. The TV in the livingroom was nice for downtime, and the area was great for playing cards too. We jad a fire in the fire pit one night and cooked steaks on the propane grill. It was all very relaxing. We only have one caution. Our one son (17) is special needs, so he was not able to climb up and down the steep stairs to the second floor bedroom that contains the trundle bed, but our daughter (9) absolutely loved it with the attached balcony. And the couch was comfy for our son to sleep on as well, so everyrhing worked out. We definitely recommend the area for relaxing, swimming, boating, and horseback riding. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend!

Such a beautiful, cozy cabin! The host Glenn was very helpful and accommodating, we truly enjoyed our little getaway! If you're looking for a nice, comfortable and clean cabin I would highly recommend giving this one a try!
