Property was very nice and pet friendly. Great view of sunset over the mountains. Host was very nice and kind and welcoming. Great location and easy to get around to all the surrounding towns.

Perfect Place!

We enjoyed our stay at this incredible home! It has everything you need! Clean and comfortable and a great place to end a day of hiking. I would definitely stay here again.

Great property with amazing views! Perfect outdoor set up. Inside has everything you need for your stay. We stayed here for the weekend when my daughter and her partner got married at Oak Creek. Definitely would love for the girls to come back to celebrate their anniversary!! Laurie was an amazing and helpful host!!

All though Isolated this comfortably beautiful house was a short 15 minute drive to Village at Oak Creek and 30 minute drive to Sedona

Amazing retreat!

We had an incredible stay at this Vrbo, where breathtaking views greeted us every morning. The sunsets were breathtaking! The property was not only dog-friendly but also equipped with every amenity our family could possibly need. The communication with our host was exceptional, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway—highly recommended for families and pet owners alike!

Beautiful home

Loved this home, seemed artist designed. Would definitely return. Road was rough like other reviews stated but we went slow and was fine even in low sedan.

A wonderful place to stay

What a wonderful place this is. The floors are heated, for ultimate comfort. The decor is inviting and bright. The furniture is comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a great stay. If we are ever back in the area, we will look here for availability.

Recommend for Your Consideration

We used this rental as a base for several days of hiking in the greater Sedona area. It was conveniently located and we liked being out of town. We found the rental to be as listed. It sits up on a hill which gives nice views of the sun setting behind the mountains. We recommend you consider it when you are looking for a place to stay outside of the built up parts of Sedona.

Nice place to get away!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and I loved all the outdoor space. As the listing mentioned, there is a dirt road / hill you have to drive on to get there. We have a truck so it was no problem for us but I wouldn’t attempt to make it in a car. We will be staying again in the future.

Nice amenities!

We chose to stay outside Sedona on this trip. This house was about 15 minutes to Sedona. Not an issue. The house had all the amenities as described. We had a great bbq, and each night sat outside to look at stars. . Very relaxing. Great place to have our dogs with us. Yard was completely enclosed. We would rent here again.

Perfect little escape

We loved this place. Our family camped in red rocks the weekend before our stay. We decided to slowly meander home. I needed a spot to work during the week, do some laundry, shower, and just relax a bit. While this was about 35-40 minutes outside of Sedona it was the perfect get away for us. We were close enough to do all the hikes we wanted to. Our hosts Nelson and Laurie were great from the start ensuring we had all we needed. We loved the patio with the sunsets at night so magical. There is a lot of care and love in this place and you can feel from the moment you walk through the doors. We will be back! There were some primitive roads leading to the property with some bumps but really no big deal at all.

Perfect!

I wish this was my house!! Laurie and Nelson are wonderful hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and promptly answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this place without any reservations. I stayed here while closing on a house in Rimrock and was so happy to have a clean, spacious, relaxing place to come home to after several busy, stressful days. This place is perfect for a vacation, too. It's super convenient to all the beautiful attractions of the Sedona/northern Arizona area without the price. They've thought of everything... new appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, a soaking tub with a selection of bath salts, beautiful showers, fully equipped and spacious laundry facilities, and the very private outside features, including a sunning deck, patio, screened-in tiki style sitting room/bar, fire pit, and barbecue areas are perfect for entertaining family and friends. The living room, dining area, and bedrooms all have sliding glass doors so the house is filled with air and light. And pet friendly, too! You can't ask for anything more.

I must admit when we pulled off the main road and headed to the house, down a dirt road, I wasn’t very happy. We drove 1.5 miles on a dirt road. We passed numerous manufactured homes, some with horses, goats and chickens. I was thinking “ what did I book us into “. When we pulled up, I was still a little regretful that we didn’t stay in town. That all changed when we walked into this awesome little pad. It has a cool vibe! There is a large patio in the back that you can b-b-q, sit by the fire pit, or chill in the different outside areas. The property was totally enclosed, which worked out great for our 2 dogs. The inside is very open and inviting. We had everything we needed, even a washing machine. The owners made it easy to check in. Their communication was excellent. We had a great stay and loved the property.

Gem in the desert

Needed a place last minute due to a funeral and this was reasonable and in the area (oddly enough) check was seamless. I am not sensitive to morning light but know you will have bright sun coming in through master bath to master bedroom. Also had a few minor issues but homeowners responded promptly. Considerations to the road should be taken (outside of owners control) but I wouldn't suggest a sports car as it is a dirt road with some ruts due to previous rains. This very country with wild quails, hummingbirds, roosters, sheep, cows and other neighboring farm animals. Quiet neighbors with no parties. Couch and beds were comfortable, laundry worked great, wifi was fast, and outside was amazing to lounge after the service and in the morning when we woke on EST time. Would definitely stay here again and nice that there is a convenience store nearby.

Comfortable, unique experience!

Pros: Laurie and Nelson's communication was excellent! Very easy check-in and check-out process and Laurie's flexibility on the last day was great. The house is clean with such a unique vibe. The kitchen had everything we needed and I liked the open-air space where we could cook and all be together. There's a variety of cozy nooks and corners to relax in with a book. We didn't use the outside space much, but the view over the valley was wonderful, particularly the sun setting behind the mountains - felt like we had a front-row seat for that. Bathrooms were clean and almost spa-like in the decor. Bedrooms were comfortable and we also used the washer-dryer. Cons: We really didn't have any "cons" in our experience. The gravel driveway into the neighborhood gets a little bumpy - but we had a truck, so not an issue - but be patient. In some parts you're not going to race through. My car at home would have made it through just find though. The location was great for my son and I - it was just a short 10-15 minute drive into the Village of Oak Canyon, and then another 10-15 into Sedona. We were also only 15 minutes away from Camp Verde and the African Safari (totally recommend the predator zipline tour!) But there wasn't much around the house itself - we bought groceries in the Village of Oak Canyon and West Sedona, so plan for that. Overall, we'd stay here again! Suited our needs well and the cost was reasonable for the area! Thank you Laurie and Nelson for sharing your home!

Our stay was magical. There are great spaces both indoors and out, and all the outdoor spaces are pup accessible which means they can enjoy and relax with you. The best route in, is on Bice Road, the other route on Kimberly’s Way is quite challenging. Our host, Laurie, was tremendous. She was present yet non-intrusive, and the perfect guide for the Sedona area. She had great suggestions for outings… Don’t miss Jerome! The house is beautifully layed out, and the large slab stone floors are cool underfoot in the summer, and temperate in the winter, such a luxury. Both bedrooms open onto an outdoor space and have great beds. The open plan living space worked wonderfully for different activities, we enjoyed being in the same space, but doing separate things. We can hardly wait to return.
