Welcome to our fully renovated cottage! It's super cozy, yet bright and airy. We're sure you'll instantly feel at home. Just steps away from Lake Ontario, this is your perfect summer day! Find your favourite outdoor space or relax in the fully screened porch and enjoy the sounds of nature. Whether you're relaxing watching a movie or mesmerized by the lapping of water on the shore, Hart's Haven is for you!!! Breathtaking sunrises over the lake and sunsets over the vineyard are second to none. 100 ft water frontage, shallow gradual entry, smooth stones and sand.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, spice drawer and essentials. Lakefront living room with large sectional couch, cozy throws and electric fireplace beckon for a cup of coffee and a good book. 2 smart TVs available. Bedrooms are small but very comfortable and functional.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Open air waterside deck, chairs, table and seating, patio umbrella is the perfect brunch spot. Finish the day with a bonfire at the water's edge as you reminisce about the memories you've made! Occupancy: 4 persons aged 10 and older, 2 children 9 and under by local STA license. Names of all persons staying are required.

Always a wonderful stay at this gem of a property. Communication with the hosts was great. The property is everything (and more) as listed. The hosts have thought of everything for their guests- just bring your swimsuits and water shoes!

This cottage was a little piece of heaven on the shores of Lake Ontario. As promised, the sun rises were spectacular. Our family had a wonderful getaway enjoying swimming, camp fires, exploring the County along with a spectacular day at Sandbanks Provincial Park.

This property sits right on the water - you’ll get the most incredible sunset views of your life here! Loved the gazebo area to eat in and hide out from the sun. Went swimming and paddle boarding right off the dock, water was quite warm! The views of the vineyard right next door are also so lovely. Our family including toddler had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this property!

Harts Haven is the perfect get away. The cottage is updated, clean and cozy. Everything you could want. Lots of great outdoor spaces and is right on the water. There is also a large screened in porch with plenty of furniture and a TV. The location is ideal for exploring all the amazing sites in Prince Edward County. Kim is wonderful!! She gives you all the information you need and answers any questions you may have. She gets back to you right away. Truly a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Harts Haven.

We definitely made the right choice to stay at Hart’s Haven quickly realizing there was no need to look for any other alternatives. The cottage was bright, cozy and had everything we needed. The view from the deck is unobstructed and spectacular The screened in porch allowed us the pleasure of dining “outside” without any pestering insects.Harts’s Haven is the ideal spot if you want to be right on the lake. There’s nothing more appealing to us than sitting on the porch with our morning coffee and relaxing view of the lake… magic!Looking up at the stars at night was incredible and something we are not used to seeing living in the city.We spent a fun afternoon at the winery next door, first with a property tour followed by some wine tasting flights and finally with a bite to eat in the Citrus Lounge. It was nice to look over at the winery and see it all lit up everynight. Everything about this location is so calm and peaceful .

This beautiful cottage is exactly as advertised. The hosts are great communicators and readily available. The property is very clean and great thought has been put into making this a home away from home for guests. The location is perfect with a winery, restaurants and farm markets / u pick farms within a short distance. Swimming area is also very nice. Overall, a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed the views of vineyard and the water, rooms were clean. The host was very nice and location was beautifull. The water pressure in the shower was a little low. We did very much enjoy our week.

The full PEC experience from Waupoos!

Great week of vacation at Hart's Haven! Perfectly located to experience all the best that PEC can offer, local produce, great winery nearby, and direct access to the lake. Excellent choice for a small family to spend some quality time in a cozy cottage.

Beautiful Location

Very lovely and clean cottage, exceptionally well equipped with lots of extras. Peaceful and private location. Perhaps packing water/gripp shoes would be helpful for enjoying the water due to the rocky entry.

Charming cottage!

Beautiful location. Charming cottage with excellent view of the lake. Clean, tidy with all the amenities, exactly as depicted. Close to Picton and many local attractions. Our host was friendly and responded immediately. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

Prince Edward County Getaway

We truly enjoyed our cozy cottage on the water. It was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The screened in porch was ideal for chatting, eating a home-cooked meal, quiet reading, and playing boardgames. There were lots of outdoor seating options. Close to some good restaurants and interesting shops for foodies.

Early June stay

The cottage is small but has everything we needed and probably had the best equipped kitchen of any cottage I’ve rented. The beds are very comfortable.The wind really picks up in the afternoon so it made for a chilly time in early June. We had some issues with the inside TV and internet but the host was very prompt in troubleshooting and solving.

What a Gem!

We had a fantastic time staying at this very well appointed cottage. The owners clearly take pride in their place. It is beautifully and tastefully renovated. The location is fabulous, right next to a vineyard with a wonderful restaurant, yet quiet. The setting is serene and right on the water, yet so convenient with a short drive into Picton with its shops and restaurants. If you get a chance to call this place your home-away-from-home you will not be disappointed! We'll be back!

A week by the water.

This perfect little cottage down a long driveway next to Waupoos winery offered lakefront access that led to both morning and evening swims. basically whenever the mood struck which was often. Otherwise We enjoyed bbqing nightly off the front deck, watching shows on the sectional couch at night and also the screened in second living room that provided more space and a nice breeze. We also fired up the indoor fireplace on one rainy night and got cozy. An overall wonderful, restful experience.

Our cottage is set with a south eastern exposure—perfect for sunrise! It’s the only cottage on the lot. The view is truly breathtaking and expansive. Despite being small, it doesn’t feel cramped.
