“Cottage is very ideal for a family vacation! The lake and paddle boards were so much fun to use and the tennis court was great for some pickle ball. Would recommend bringing a fan in the summer months but was a great stay and would highly recommend!”

The location was fantastic. The water was beautiful. The family of loons , red squirrels, and chipmunk a joy to watch. Cottage was well equipped. Would come back.

Great weekend away

This place was exactly what we were looking for for a big group weekend stay. Perfect if you’re looking for a real cottage feel and lake access. Dylan was great getting back to us anytime and checkin/check out was flawless. Would highly recommend this stay.

Lovely getaway

Great location, loved the amenities, kayaks and paddleboards, lots of fun Host was easy to contact and quick to return messages / inquiries, will definitely be back!

The cottage was exactly as shown in pictures, lake was great for fishing and having the paddle boards and kayaks supplied was awesome!

Great property

Great stay! Owner is easy to get in touch with and rectified any small issues we had. Tons to do on property and not too far away from the city. Highly recommend!

Cozy Weekend Away

This was the perfect spot for us to have a cozy weekend away with friends! The cottage had everything we needed, including enclosed outdoor space for a rainy afternoon! We enjoyed the kayaks and the swimming off the dock was perfect. We all agreed we would return and had a great weekend!

The Perfect Getaway

It was exactly what we were looking for. On a beautiful lake with swimming and all water activities. It has the perfect rustic charm that we grew up with our parent's. We will definitely return. Thank-you for the most enjoyable stay.

True cottage vibes

We loved our stay at the cottage! The lake was so peaceful, clear warm water. It was exactly what we were looking for and more! Rustic cottage, water toys, hanging on the dock or the beach, bonfires, fishing, exploring, sunrise paddles. The dogs were the happiest being off leash and exploring, swimming, dock diving. 10/10 recommend 👌

Check-in was easy. The host was very responsive. The location was nice, good access to the lake which was clean. We had good deck space. The cottage is quite rustic. The ceiling fan didn't work, and the kitchen needs updating. The beds were not the best so bring your own pillows. If you don't mind rustic with the basics, it was fine.

Quiet lake, gorgeous view!

We had a wonderful time here! The view is beautiful, and the lake is so quiet and peaceful. There was no shortage of activities, from tennis to paddle boarding to kayaking, we had so much fun. The area had a burn ban in effect, so it was really nice to have the indoor fireplace to relax by in the evenings. The BBQ was great to use, and there were tons of supplies and utensils provided. Having the dish washer was great too, you don’t always expect cottages to have them so that was a nice bonus!

Fun weekend but needs some upkeep

Location was great. Wasn't told that we needed to bring our own water (if it said on the listing, I totally missed it, my bad). There was evidence of mice or rodents, I get it, it's a cottage but there were holes chewed in the ceiling and we could hear them at night. One of the stairs outside had the start of a good hole in it and one of us fell and twisted ankle. Honestly it was a fun weekend, we just think the place needs some attention and upkeep.

Fully equiped rustic lakeside cabin

This was a rustic yet very functiinal cabin with all the necessities one would want. The cabin was old but had character. The bathroom was basic but better than an outhouse! Hot water and great water pressure. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances and cookware, dishes, mugs and glasses. We were able to cook and Bbq some lovely meals and there were several options available for sitting. Nice size dining table sat 8 for dinner, and then the two level deck had two old but still functional large picnic tables. We were a group of 8 (two families). The sleeping was creative. There was one room with a queen size bed, the other had a double base with twin top bunk. We were able to put some teens in there and another on the double size futon in the livingroom. The other couple chose to sleep in the detached but cute bunkie house which also had a double bed. The bedding was provided, and was basic but clean. We had also brought some of our own bedding just in case. We spent our days outside the entire time making use of the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe provided. This was a huge bonus as tbe lake was stunning and had amazing swimming off the docks. We had brought our boat and were able to launch it for free and easily at the public boat lauch just down the road. Super convenient. At night we moved the dock and deck muskoka chairs over to the fire pit and enjoyed beautiful night time fires. The wood was also provided. Many great memories!

We stayed the weekend and had a wonderful time. The cottage is a perfect bit of rustic with all the amenities you would need. The lake was gorgeous and we were able to make use of the water toys. Dylan was an amazing host. Would love to stay here again!
