Chalet de Grande Digue, Peaceful Coastal Cottage Near the Beach

We were genuinely surprised by several of the concerns raised in this review because none of them were brought to our attention at any point during your stay. When you arrived, we welcomed you and specifically asked you to let us know if you needed anything. We remained available throughout your visit. The only request we received before arrival was for an early check in, which we were happy to accommodate. When you checked out, your message simply stated that you had left the property and thanked us. There was no mention of cleanliness, the beds, furniture, stairs, beach access, or any safety concern. Had any of these concerns been raised while you were staying with us, we would have responded immediately and done everything possible to address them. Guest comfort and safety are very important to us. We also respectfully disagree with some of the descriptions in the review. We regularly maintain and inspect the property, and we take any safety related concern seriously. We have reviewed the areas mentioned following your comments and will continue to address anything that needs attention. Regarding the beach, we appreciate the suggestion that the access information could be clearer. We will make sure future guests receive more detailed guidance. As someone who travels frequently myself, I understand what guests expect when staying away from home. That is one of the reasons we try to prepare and maintain the property in the same way we would want a place prepared for ourselves and our family. We appreciate all constructive feedback. At the same time, we strongly encourage guests to contact us during their stay if something is not right. That gives us the opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter immediately rather than learning about it for the first time after checkout.
