Family vacation

We had a great time on our family vacation at this home. It was super convenient to everything. The entry was a bit tricky with the boat and curve but we made it with no issues with the rain. The home was super comfy and everyone had plenty of room. The views are breathtaking taking and awesome for morning coffee time. I would recommend this place. The family enjoyed walking barefoot to the dock and fishing from the backyard. Maybe next time we can get some pointers on catching the fish.

Great property. Had some A/C issues that were resolved quickly. Beautiful spot on Lake Hamilton. We rented a boat and had the lake to ourselves (September). Very quiet location, house is off the street a good bit so we never heard any traffic.

Wonderful Place to Stay in Hot Springs

The house is a great place to stay if you have a large group. We had 8 people and it accommodated us very well. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful spot on Lake Hamilton that was close to all that Hot Springs has to offer. Highly recommend this house.

This is our second time at the property. Best location on the lake and great boat dock. On two of the beds the sheets were dirty and housekeeper had to come back to change them. The Host did respond to the request quickly. On the master bed, the mattress is thick and the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed. The top sheet could not be tucked in and would not stay on bed. Upstairs clothes dryer would not heat but was able to use second dryer downstairs. The finish is worn off of the dining table and when using paper plates they stick. Dining chair cushions are worn out and you sink through the frame of the chair. Very uncomfortable. No light over dining table so it cannot be used for games at night. No lamps in den area, only spot lights that shine on tv. Lighting could be improved. This could be a great property if these issues were improved.

Girls trip

We loved our stay. The house was clean and extraordinary. The view of the lake from the sunroom was tranquil. The only suggestion would be put a railing on the stairs to the fire pit and make a safe easy pathway to get off and on the sitting area by the lake. Walking around the tall pedestals with a one foot space between the pedestals and the edge drop off can be treacherous and one of our ladies slipped and ended up in the lake with a concussion. Her head hit the rock ledge. But she will be fine. It was so close to all things to do in Hot Springs. The pictures on this house does not show the scope of this gorgeous home and it’s massive yard.

Felt like home

We stayed at this VRBO for an extended stay of 6 weeks while our home was being built. Sheila our contact was very attentive for anything we needed. The location is a hidden gem. Super private, lots of parking spaces, incredible water pressure, and the master bedroom bed was impressively comfortable. The master shower offered a private spa like feel. The kitchen was stocked for real cooking and everything we needed was there. This unique home offers space for everyone and includes 2 washers and dryers; one set on each floor. Once you open the front door the spectacular view can be seen. This lake view home is house with the best view indeed and so much outdoor space to enjoy complete with a front yard swing and several private patios. Everything about this home felt cozy to me and I hope others get the chance to enjoy this piece of paradise that simply feels like home!

Great stay!

Took our daughter on her senior trip but she decided she wanted a full family vacation. So we had our kids, boyfriends, grand babies, as well as her and a friend she invited. We all enjoyed our stay very much. The house is a little dark in the living room but used the space to relax at night and watch tv so it was fine. The pictures don’t show very well but the master is the only bedroom upstairs. The layout was a little different. The only disappointment I had was not with the location or home but the search. I wanted dog friendly and for some reason this home was included into the search. Booked it without question and sure enough it was not dog friendly. We didn’t cancel because the house was large enough for our family. Overall, the communication was great! Our stay was great! And the view was amazing!

Lake Hamilton Great Location

This is a great property with beautiful waterfront location. Sheila was a great host and responsive to everything we needed. House was very clean and accommodating. The house is below street level on a narrow circular drive through entrance gates. If you are bringing a boat it might not fit in entrance. We have a 21 ft wake boat and it was too wide for entrance and would not have made the 90 degree turns of the drive. Hot Springs Marina down the road will store your trailer and you can launch there. Boat dock at the house can accommodate any boat. The only downside of the house is the interior lighting is not very abundant. Hard to play games at night and little lighting next to beds. Internet primarily works in main room and not master bedroom or downstairs. Overall, this a great property with space for everyone with an unbeatable location.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! I’m so glad you enjoyed the house, the beautiful waterfront setting, and that you found everything clean and comfortable. I appreciate you sharing helpful notes about the driveway and boat access—this will definitely help future guests plan ahead. I’m also grateful for the feedback on the lighting and internet coverage; I’ll look into ways to improve both to make evenings and all areas of the home more convenient. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I hope you’ll come stay again soon!

We really enjoyed our family vacation at this home. It was nice to have our boat there to just walk out to and then go. I would recommend you use your 4x4 if pulling it in the rain there because the drive was steeper than we thought and so we drove the regular truck with no 4 wheel. The grandbabies loved it and that they didn’t have to wear shoes playing outside. We loved the ducks and the views. Highly recommend for a family stay. Everything is so close and home fully stocked.
