The listing was as advertised, and the host was prompt in answering any questions I had. The only thing I might add is exactly what the parking is because I was told 2 parking spots, and since other people were staying in the other condos, there was not enough parking for all of us. I know there is parking at the end of the block as well, but due to the tides, the end of the block floods. Knowing ahead of my trip that the parking arrangements would have changed, the fact that I had 2 cars.

Stayed at a property for 3 days and four nights.. I couldn't even make myself a cup of coffee; the sheets and mattress were stained, and no bed linens were provided. The coffee maker didn't work, and there wasn't even a complete set of dishes or cutlery. The curtains and blinds were broken, or there simply weren't any on the windows for privacy. You couldn't swim in the water. Bugs and garbage everywhere. The cleanliness of the property left much to be desired, and the place smelled terrible. Whenever I raised an issue with the person in charge, she blamed the previous guest. Misleading advertising. See photos.

When the coffee makers were reported as not working, our team inspected the appliances and confirmed they were functioning properly. The reported exterior items were also addressed promptly by our maintenance team. As a gesture of goodwill, a partial refund was provided following the stay. We remain committed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped home and providing a positive experience for every guest.

Well managed, clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a lovely time with fabulous sunsets over the water.

The place wasn't cleaned until 45 minutes after the 4 pm check-in. The linens were not through the wash/dry cycle so we had to finish them. The washer didn't work correctly. There was no toiletries or soap in all the bathrooms. The beach is not pristine as the description states. There was always debris on it and there is no easy access to the beach without walking over bulk heads. There were chairs on the deck but you couldn't see over the railing when sitting in them. I wasn't sent any check in information and had to go through the AI bot to get any information. When I did get the host's number, I only got the check in information on that morning. When I told the host of all of the issues, she stated there was an emergency and offered a 50 dinner card which I never received. I would much prefer a partial refund. We ended up leaving a day early. Not impressed at all.

Regarding check-in information, instructions are automatically provided before arrival, and we are always available to assist if guests have any trouble accessing them. The property also offers direct beach access via stairs from the deck, and as this is a natural shoreline, conditions such as debris can vary based on tides and weather. Cozy family fun near Cape May Beach and Wildwood!

I rented this house for a long weekend vacation with my parents, grandmother, and 2-year old. We absolutely loved the view and clean space, and we were able to easily get to-and-from Cape May beach and Wildwood easily. Thank you for everything!

Quiet Beach House

Floor plan of the house was nice and we enjoyed the panoramic view. The shared deck with the house next door would have been caused a lack of privacy if someone had been staying there. The private beach was not clean and unusable. The beds were very comfortable as was the future in the living room.

Old school rustic beach cottage right on the bay. Perfect for our family of 5. The master has a queen. Room 2 had two double beds and room 3 has two, twin beds. Window/wall AC units are in each bedroom and also the main room. You share a deck with the house next door but it’s not an issue. You spend your time on the deck in the back of the house. It’s tight (the width of an Adirondack chairs plus about 6 inches) but it’s fine and you get used to it. And there is a table in the communal area you can easily use too for meals. The views are stunning. When the tide is out there are tons of tide pools and great for the kids to explore. The sunset is incredible. High tide it’s 15 feet from porch.You are 25 minute drive to Cape May downtown area. It’s doable and didn’t feel like a nuisance. Felt nice to come back to the super quiet area the cottage is located in. It is 10-15 minutes away from going somewhere quick to get coffee or breakfast so you have to plan for that. You know what you are going to get. Basic old school cottage but it works. Stunning views annd quiet. Outdoor shower downstairs and easy access to beach chairs under the deck. We will definitely be back. My recommendation to the owner to take this from a 9 to a 10 is literally 500 worth of upgrades and basic needs from Costco. Provide liquid detergent for the washer, hand soap in each bathroom, ground coffee, buy some new towels and comforters for the beds. You do that and it’s a perfect trip.

Wonderful location on the bay

We stayed here in July 2025 and had a great experience. The view is amazing and the house has everything we needed. We had two families - four adults and three children and the house was perfect for us. The cleaning crew could have done a better job - but the owner is aware and is working on addressing that. The house was still in good overall a shape, though. You can't beat the sunsets over the bay on the deck. The beach was empty when we were there so it felt like we had our own private beach. Jellyfish were an issue though so that may have contributed to that. We plan to return next year!
