Pelican Waters is a beautiful suburb located in the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, Australia. It offers a plethora of activities and attractions suitable for families on holiday. Here are some things you can do:

Spend time at the Beach: There are plenty of stunning beaches in and around Pelican Waters, such as Golden Beach (approx. 2km away), Kings Beach (approx. 6km away), and Bulcock Beach (approx. 5km away). All these beaches offer an array of water activities like swimming, surfing, snorkelling, and jet-skiing.

Visit the Australia Zoo: Located in Beerwah (approx. 13km away), this world-renowned zoo is home to over 1200 animals and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area.

Take a trip to the Maleny Botanic Gardens: Located in the hinterland (approx. 27km away), the gardens feature a stunning collection of plants from around the world, as well as a bird aviary and a butterfly enclosure. It`s a perfect spot for picnics, leisurely strolls, and family photos.

THINGS TO NOTE:
ACCESS: You have full access to the property. we are just a phone call or message away during your stay.

PARKING: You can park in the garage and driveway. Please don`t park on the grass.

INCLUSIVE: As hosts, we welcome all visitors. Overseas guests, people with disabilities, families, and LGBTQI+ friendly.

NOISE: The property is in a peaceful quiet neighbourhood. To respect the peace of the community - we kindly request no loud music or loud parties. Noise curfew 10pm.

SECURITY DEPOSIT - A refundable security deposit of $400 may be taken as an authorisation hold 2 days prior to check out and released no more than 7 days later. Some or all of the security deposit may be captured if there has been negligent behaviour or intentional damage to the property.

EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS:
May be possible however we do recommend you to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. If a guest is checking out on the day of your arrival, housekeeping needs time to prepare everything and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:
May be possible depending on bookings and housekeeping schedules. Please reach out the day before check out to see if this is possible.

STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking but to avoid having to immediately head to the supermarket on arrival.

LINEN: We supply hotel quality linen and bath towels for your stay.

LONG STAYS:
All stays 14-28 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable.

CHECK OUT
We don`t want you to do a long list of chores before you check out. We just kindly ask that you put back furniture the way you found it (only if somethings been moved), stack the dishwasher and put the rubbish out. Our cleaners will do the rest.

AGE REQUIREMENT:
We do request that adult guests are over the age of 25 years of age. 18-24 years are welcome if staying with other adults over 25 years of age. Children are welcome.

MANAGEMENT FEE - this is our damage waiver to cover any accidental damages so you don`t have to worry - see house rules for the details.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: When booking via Airbnb we are covered for damages via their product AirCover. While Airbnb says a bond will be taken, this is in fact not the case.

Damage deposit - A $500 refundable security deposit is taken as an authorisation hold on your card and released after your stay.


PETS: We are pet lovers. We will ask you a little about your pet before they come to stay. We do ask that pets don’t get on the beds and couches. There is a small pet fee of $120 per stay.

- In the event that keys are lost/ damaged/ locked inside the property any time during your stay or check-out, we may need to call a locksmith and additional expenses will be charged to your account. If the cleaner’s or property manager’s schedule is affected by this, further charges may apply.

- Check-out time is 10am. If the cleaner is not able to clean on time, a delayed entry fee may apply. If you require late check-out, please contact the host 72 hours before check-out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

- If you leave any items behind by accident, we are happy to post them back to you. However, we will need to compensate our housekeepers or managers for the postage fee and their time.

-We provide toiletries to get you started. Feel free to visit the nearest grocery store should you wish to restock for yourself.

- Take care of the property and avoid making a mess within the premises. Leaving dishes unwashed or having food items out in the open tend to attract pests and insects that may require pest control. This may be charged to your account as applicable.

- Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. Charges may apply for additional cleaning and deodorisation of the property.

- Excessive use of utilities such as water, electricity, and WIFI may result in additional charges.

- Where a porta cot is provided, this is used at the guests own risk. The owner and hosts do not accept any liability should anything occur during its use.
- Only guests on the original booking may stay overnight.

- No illegal activity or running a business from the premises.

- Adult guests staying at the property are required to be over 25 years of age unless part of a multi-generational family group.
