Clean and lots of space to organize your things. Our boys really enjoyed the games room and the large backyard. Our dog also felt welcome and enjoyed the space. The cottage was well equipped for making simple meals - perfect for vacation.

5days at blue sky

The house was beautiful, the games room the kids loved it the grounds where great and I so much enjoyed the quiet and rest

Perfect Place for a Getaway

We loved everything about our stay. It had all of the conveniences of home and then some - we especially appreciated the laundry facilities and the dishwasher. The neighbourhood is quiet and everything we wanted to do and see was a short drive or wash away. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Home

We enjoyed the house. It was well kept and had excellent air conditioning. The yard was a great environment to spend time.

Blue skies house

We rented this property for 3 night and it was a pleasure to be there! The house is well kept, all you need in the kitchen, the laundry was a bonus, after the days on the beach. We enjoyed the back yard and the playroom in the basement! I really recommend this property!

Wonderful Family Get Away

We loved this cozy cottage- great open concept with lots of room to cook, eat, talk, play board games and watch movies. We loved having our morning coffee on the front porch and especially enjoyed the back yard campfires with a glass of wine. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and an easy walk to the main square with shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic girls getaway

Blue Skies was exactly what we needed. It was a perfect extended girls weekend away. Jennifer was amazing to deal with and the attention to detail was impeccable. The cottage is located in a perfect spot for our day trips to Clinton, Goderich & Bayfield. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

Great Property Fantastic Service

Had a weekend stay with our adult children and it was great. The house was very nice with a good sized kitchen, good bedroom space and a fun games room. The fire pit area was spacious and well designed. To top it off the service was excellent, great communication with all you could want to know about the property and the area. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience

Overall this was a really fantastic experience. I have no complaints. The house was perfect. Location wonderful. Marina and beach was great. Communication with property manager flawless. I would definitely stay at this charming location again. My teens really enjoyed the games basement and my arm is still sore from playing lots of table tennis in the evenings.

Exploring Huron for the first time.

I read reviews all the time before renting a place. Few things about us, the area and the house: We are a youthful couple in our mid-50's with a university age daughter and her boyfriend. It wasn't beach time of year; weather was mixed and in the mid-teens (cool for late May) but we did see some nice sand and amazing sunsets at Pioneer Park (8 min walk). It’s another 8-minute walk to the downtown Bayfield area and it’s surprisingly robust with nice shops and really good restaurants (Fish 'n Chips at Black Dog Pub is the bomb). The neighbourhood is very nice, quiet. If you like walking and looking at nice homes, different styles etc., good place to be. To be honest our original plan was to spend most days in Goderich, and we did spend a day there and a few hours walking around Grand Bend (which looks like a great beach, modern, nice shops etc.) but Bayfield is about as charming as it gets. Again, another 8 min walk (2 min drive) to LCBO and a very clean, newer and well stocked Foodland. Blue Skies house is a great location. Excellent host communication, check-in, resource information….top notch. The house is cute, kitchen was great, comfortable place. It’s not fancy by any means, and it looked like CottageStays has nicer, more expensive rentals, but Blue Skies served us just fine. I even cleaned up the little horseshoe pits a bit, and we played a couple games. Fun!
