This home was beautiful and had everything we needed. The patio was wonderful. The home was centrally located to restaurants that were lovely. The host was friendly and very accommodating. We would love to stay here again.

Awesome house in a cool neighbourhood. We were in town for a wedding, but I wish I'd rented it for a few extra days !

As advertised!

This place is absolutely beautiful, and it lives up to the listing! We didn’t want to leave the place at the end of our stay! The host was responsive, and we look forward to staying here again.

Cosy Historic Home

This house is lovely, very clean, very quiet and so so cozy. We loved it. I will be booking again and again as long as it is available during my visits.

A historic gem

I have no complaints regarding the booking process, communication, check-in, and cleanliness of the home. My family was very satisfied with our stay, and ensuring their comfort is my top priority. While the stairs provided a bit of a workout, I suppose a little exercise is beneficial, even on vacation!

Beautiful Home with Plenty of Spaces for Conversation

Our family had all gathered in Petersburg to lay one of our family members to rest in the community they grew up in. None of us lived in Petersburg so we opted to find a place large enough to hold our entire family. The place is most suitable for adults and there are stairs to get to any of the bedrooms or bathrooms so be sure you can walk up and down stairs.

GORGEOUS HOME!

Pictures do not do this house justice! It was an absolute dream to stay in. We enjoyed the back patio and spent days and evenings sipping wine in the peaceful space. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the home was very tastefully decorated and clean. Absolutely no complaints at all! The host was very thoughtful and quick to respond.We also enjoyed meals at the restaurants within walking distance. We all agreed we had some of the best dining experiences ever at a very reasonable price. Everyone in this town was so very polite and nice too! We plan on returning.

Outstanding Accommodations

Overwhelming impressive stay. The host made the environment safe and accommodating from the instructions leading us to enter the property to the property being very well prepared for the icy conditions we faced. We felt like we were in a relative home from the moment we stepped through the door. The house was fully stocked with every essential you could think of and even some you would not have thought of. Every inch of space was immaculately well kept. We felt safe and we felt at home. From the beautiful decor in each and every room to the comfortable linen and cloths on every bed. We are so pleased with our stay, and we thank the host who really put thought and effort into satisfying the customer. We hosted our 4 grandchildren ages 2 thru 12 who have nicknamed this house "the tall house". When we arrived back in South Carolina they were asking to go back to "the tall house". Truly the best stay of the new year and in our top 5 of all time.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. If you want sleek, modern, and quiet, this is not the place for you. But if you want charming, cozy, and comfortable, this is your spot. We stayed here for two nights with our young adult children and it was perfect. Enough room for everyone to have their own space, but great gathering spots indoors and out. Things you might want to know about this property:1. It is three floors, plus a basement, so if anyone in your group has trouble navigating stairs, this could pose a problem. There is no bathroom on the ground floor, but there are bathrooms in the basement and on the 2nd and 3rd floor, near the bedrooms. 2. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook a basic meal, even a sharp knife! I hate to work with a dull knife and usually bring mine, but forgot this trip, so I really appreciated this. There are pots, pans, a cutting board, and some basic spices. And everything is in a place that makes sense. 3. The mattresses are comfortable and the bedding is clean and soft. We had just spent the previous two nights in a cheap hotel with sub-par beds, so this was a very welcome improvement. And the decor is just lovely. 4. We LOVED the back patio. We spent both nights gathered around the patio table, under the string lights, talking, laughing, and drinking our favorite beverages. It was just what we wanted. We just loved this property. I spent my time there in a constant state of delight.

Very nice home. We did have to reach out to the host to let them know of a few issues. For example, there were only 3 forks in the kitchen and several drinking tumblers had cracks on the bottom, so they leaked. There was also left over food in the refrigerator and the ice machine was not working and needs to be defrosted. It seems like some responses from the host may be AI generated because one was sent shortly after we arrived and added “safe travels” in the response, which seemed odd since we had just arrived. Other than that, we enjoyed staying at home.
