You get absolutely what you pay for with this cabin and more!! You’re tucked in at the very top of the property with complete privacy. The cabin is gorgeous and is exactly as the pictures show. We will definitely be back!!

The Lover's Nest was a quiet, clean, quaint cabin. Great for a quick weekend get-away for us. The recent updates were beautiful and cool.. Loved the accent lighting and all of the new appliances and amenities. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed the newly renovated cabin atmosphere. The soaking tub was an extra nice feature! Definitely will be back.

Was a big mixup with which cabin we were in then it was a big mixup on how to use the combination. Very frustrating after a long drive.

Very much enjoyed our stay in this cabin. The cabin and grounds were exactly as pictured - absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean and cozy. Firewood was plentiful (although too long for the stove. I recommend shorter logs.). I particularly liked the proximity to Saluda while also being tucked away in the mountains. I’d definitely stay here again.

Weekend to remember

Overall OK

This cabin is charming, cozy and comfortable. However, the kitchen is sorely lacking. 2 ancient fry/saute pans, one enormous sauce pot and a cookie sheet too large for the oven. We like to cook but it was a challege with this equipment. And the wall heaters never got the cabin warm enough. I will say the management company was very quick to respond about our concerns.

Unhappy Birthday

We arrived at 10 pm and immediately went to our cabin. We were tired from the 3 hour drive. Walked in to the cabin and it was DIRTY! All towels were still piled up in the bathroom, dirty sheets still piled on beds. We had to text and call to get someone to respond. Finally at 11:09 pm we got move to a cabin that had been cleaned. It was not a good start to my birthday weekend. We have stays here many many tons, but whoever is running this place now is going to lose all business if they don’t get things in order. Also, they no longer provide fire wood for your wood stove in the house or the fire pits outside. Not sure we will return if this company keeps running it.

Leaf Peeping Time

Mama/Daughter trip to Western North Carolina to stay at Cabin Fever. We stayed in Buzzard Roost. This review allows only 1500 characters, my review will exceed that, so I will review on Google also. Saluda is a quaint small town and a beautiful place to enjoy the Fall colors. Hendersonville is close by which has great restaurants, shopping and Granddads Apple Orchard. The cabin was rustic and quaint. Beautiful location. There are a lot of things I will share on google. Work was being done to level the grade on the roads there and to install trenches for future wi-fi cable wire (which I wish they weren't doing). The noise was loud and took away from the peace and quiet that we sought for our travel. Wish the work was being done after the season of leaf peeping. But oh well. The workers were so very kind. There are things I will share regarding the cabin on google as this does not allow me enough room. Overall, it was a rustic and beautiful place to stay and I will return in the future but stay in a different cabin. Thank you.

We had a 4 day stay that was disappointing in a lot of ways. The property and cabin (Buzzard Roost) were beautiful but we had some problems. Check in isn't until 4 and you won't get an entry code until then. It gets dark at 5:30, disappointing. The fridge was off when we arrived with a cooler of perishables, also disappointing. The toilet was leaking which caused loud pipe banging in the walls every 5 minutes all night the first night. They repaired it the next day. The grounds were not kept up making some of the amenities unusable: horse shoes, community gathering area, walking trails (all unkept). There is a little pond with an unkept childs playhouse, wooden and deteriorating. The host family was very loud using the hot tub as a swimming pool, so enjoying the sitting area and fire pit outside was not very relaxing. The BR TV buffered the entire time. The 2 ceiling fans were on the same frequency which made controlling lights and fans a pain. There is no wood stove, it was removed. There is an electric fireplace. There isn't enough hot water to fill the tub but if you wait for the water to reheat a couple of times, the soaking tub was nice. The nearby town is quant and friendly with several shops and restaurants to enjoy. Food was great at Green River BBQ and Ward's Grill. I think if there were a change in the maintenance personnel of this camp, the enjoyment would be a lot higher. Unfortunately, I am only allotted 1500 characters for this review. Beautiful area.
