Very comfortable little converted storefront right in the heart of downtown. Cool little place, convenient parking. We enjoyed our stay.

Curtain Rods don't cover well enough in the bedrooms. At least get a curtain that is long enough to cover the open space. Windows were very dirty. A little table and chairs out front.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad you enjoyed the little table and chairs out front. Regarding the bedroom curtains, they're meant for privacy within the loft space, and this hasn't come up before, but we'll review whether a change is needed. The windows were in fact dirty, that was overlooked on our end and they've since been cleaned.

This was our 2nd time staying here. It's comfortable, relaxing and downtown. Stocked with just about everything needed for cooking. Very unique place which is why we like it.

A unique property in a great location! My family especially enjoyed being able to walk to the coffee shop, restaurants and parks.

Great Stay in Downtown Yankton

Very fun and unique place to stay in Yankton. Close to many restaurants, the Meridian walking bridge, etc. Well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This unit is truly unique and fun! It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything I needed for my month's stay. Downtown Yankton offers a lot within walking distance, so the location is ideal. My host communicated well. It's also pet-friendly, allowing me to bring my pet for the extended stay. I would stay here again, for sure!

Close to downtown

Great place to stay when you’re attending an event downtown and need a gathering space. Getting key was a little tricky, thankful my husband was there and figured it out. Had the amenities needed. Would stay again!

Perfect Downtown Location

We rented this property for our daughter and her bridesmaids the weekend of her wedding. It was the perfect location within walking distance of the downtown venue. Everything was clean and tidy. It was perfect for a pre-wedding slumber party!

We stayed at this adorable abode in historic downtown Yankton for a multigenerational family gathering, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location was incredibly convenient—within easy walking distance to our event venue and surrounded by the charm and character of downtown.The space had everything we needed and more. What truly set it apart was the thoughtful preservation of the building’s original features. From the vintage bar to the beautiful tin ceiling, every detail added to the unique charm of the stay. It felt like stepping into a piece of Yankton’s history—without sacrificing modern comfort.Our family absolutely loved it, and we’ll definitely be back again!

We have stayed at a few short-term apartment rentals in Yankton over the years, and for our needs, this apartment was probably the best pet-friendly location we've found. The area downtown is easily walkable, with convenient parking nearby. I spoke with the host a few days prior to our trip, and we had no issues getting in and settled. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics (pans, pots, silverware, and plenty of plates, bowls, glassware, etc.). We cooked multiple meals without any hassle. This location is probably good for couples and families with kids. One thing worth remembering is that this location is at street level with an exit that leads directly to the sidewalk. We liked that street-level convenience, but if privacy is important, keep in mind that pulling blinds closed and keeping the door locked is a helpful habit. For the right visitors, this place is terrific. We intend to return to this apartment next time we visit Yankton.

Enjoyed my stay at Cozy Abode in Historic Yankton - Heart of the City. First, this place is huge - with an open concept, and CLEAN. The kitchen is well appointed with just about everything one would need, although it could use some baking sheets and a can opener. The refrigerator is full size, clean and has an ice maker and filtered water dispenser! Dishwasher is nearly silent. The living room area is large; with a couch, loveseat and large flat screen tv. The couch has been well loved and bottoms out when you sit down, though. There are sleeping nooks with curtains across the entry of each one, not actual bedrooms. The beds are comfortable and have decent, soft bedding. Two small hooks for pajamas/robes in the sleeping nooks. No dressers, closets or luggage stands. Sleeping areas could use some sort of rack to hang clothing up. Bathroom has walk-in stall type shower. Plenty of linens and extra bedding. Towels/linens are soft and fluffy, not cheap or scratchy!! Very nice! I brought my own toiletries so I didn't check to see if there were any provided. The owner is VERY responsive and this place was immaculately clean - huge bonus points for that!

Huge, Roomy and Clean

Location is in the charming, historic district within walking distance of quaint shops, bars and restaurants. During warm weather seasons, on-street parking is available right outside the door.When I first arrived, the air conditioning wasn't working. I contacted the owner and he was VERY responsive. He got it working right away and I never had any issues the rest of my stay. That's 5 star service!! The place hosts 3 small sleeping areas, not actual bedrooms. The entrance to each sleeping area has a curtain for privacy. There are only two small hooks on the wall for clothing. The bed I slept in was quite comfortable with micro-fiber sheets/bedding. The kitchen area is galley style and large: with pots, pans, dishes, glassware and flatware. I cooked several meals and found almost everything I needed. There is a glass cook top stove with oven, dishwasher and large refrigerator that has both filtered water and an ice maker. I loved the roominess of the large living/dining areas. Visiting family had plenty room without bumping elbows. There is a couch and love seat in the living room with a large flats screen tv. The bathroom has a walk-in stall type shower. I brought my own toiletries so didn't check to see if any others were provided under the vanity. There were a lot of bathroom linens available - the good kind. Not the cheap scratchy stuff. Nice!Overall, I was impressed at how CLEAN the place was. Especially the bath and kitchen areas. I never felt like I had to wash everything before using it. That's a pretty big deal and a huge plus, to me!! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. This is a wonderful, clean and charming place. I am highly impressed with the owner, too. He is extremely nice and very responsive.Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!
