Absolutely beautiful little cottage, everything was perfect!! Loved that it was suitable for young kids and had a high chair. Amazing location, we couldn’t be happier and definitely will be back.

Great location and quaint cottage ,comfortable beds,high chair and cot provided A few improvements the smell coming through the sinks wasn’t pleasant! , defiantly don’t need cold water tap on when having shower as water wasn’t hot ,no grater in kitchen,if your looking to have a glass of wine you need to bring your own glasses (given that there is a great wine cellar / beer shop just around the corner .

The cottage is in very good scenery and have everything you need. Danny gave us very clear instruction for our pleasant stay.

Gorgeous Cottage

It’s a gorgeous, modern, well heated little cottage that is very clean, tidy and well maintained. It’s a very short walk to the local shops and easy to find.

Everything was lovely, we had a great time at a birthday gathering and slept very well. Lovely cottage very close to good coffee and restaurants. Excellent position.

Lovely little cottage with very quick and simple check in. The cottage overall was clean and dust free. But please be warned you are not allowed to use the fireplace. I had specifically booked this accommodation to use the fireplace - to sit in front of and relax but (yes, the ducted heating is amazing but a fire creates a cosy atmosphere which this place is missing without it). So if you specifically want a fireplace - don't book. The bathroom could use a freshen up too, dated and cheaply "renovated" along with the kitchen. But in saying all this - great size and location to relax in front of the tv (not fireplace) cook a meal and have a wonderful, uninterrupted sleep!.

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage, very cosy and comfortable. Wonderful location. Beautiful parrots in the backyard and distant call from kookaburras! Highly recommend with comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen with lots of little extras. Host was great with communication and very accommodating

Lovely 2 bedroom garden cottage close the Olinda village.

I took my elderly mother for a little getaway for 2 nights. 2 family members joined us for 1 night. Enough room to sleep on the couch for 1 night. It would be great to have the little cottage out in the garden as an extra bedroom (hopefully this is a plan for the future). Little bit of painting needed in the bathroom to touch up, but otherwise very neat and tidy. Steps are needed to be negotiated at the entrance and outside so need to be aware when taking elderly folk here. Loved the comfy lounge and plenty of seating for watching TV even had access to Netflix !!! Lovely shaded garden for a warm day and open fire for winter. Would stay again really comfy for a small group.

Mid week getaway

Arrived at the property just after check in time, had to ring the owner for key log in as it wasn't supplied. The cottage is really lovely, beautifully appointed. Only downside was not enough kindling supplied to start the fire, too damp outside, so necessitated a trip to the IGA for kindling and firestarters (left the remainder there for the next person) Beds super.comfy, bathroom very clean. My 82 year old sister very appreciative of the non slip bath surface. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would recommend this cottage easily

Not happy. Double booked and canceled without notification

This was terrible. Communication with the owner was poor. Almost non existent. I had to chase contact. On the day of arrival, we realized we had no info relating to check in so made contact. Only to receive a reply advising us our booking was cancelled due to double booking. We booked over a month in advance. We had just arrived in Olinda when the response arrived. There was no alternative offered or suggested. We were told it wasn’t their fault and it occurred on the same day we booked. My question then is why wasn’t it picked up then and they confirmed our request for the two rooms two weeks after the booking? I feel they were deceptive and disorganised. We were left high and dry. No compensation was offered. This was a farewell weekend for my friend who is leaving the country to live overseas. Fortunately we came across Brett from Como Cottages who had a vacancy and he personally took us to it and made us feel very welcome. His service was wonderful. He saved the day and turned what was very upsetting to a blessing. So we ended up having a better experience. We were completely dissatisfied with Olinda cottages service and would never recommend them.
