Wonderful location and lovely neighborhood for taking walks. Great access to peninsula. Our family of 6 with 1 bathroom was a challenge but our fault for missing that important detail! Could use some hooks on back of bedroom doors for towels etc.and some extra silverware. The windows could use an outside cleaning, although we were there when the midges hatched and they were just everywhere. All In all a comfortable fun getaway with the family. Thank you

Great house! It’s in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to everything; state park, downtown, zoo and plenty of restaurants. We had perfect weather for our visit. We opened the windows and the house stayed comfortable. Excellent communication from the host.

Family Reunion

My wife and I and three adult kids rented this home for the extra bedrooms and A/C for our trip home to Erie for a family reunion. It’s in a great location within a very safe and walkable neighborhood. The host is super responsive and an excellent communicator - we had a great stay all the way around!

Weekend in Erie

We had a very comfortable stay. We brought a crock pot with us, which turned out to be a good decision. That was the only thing we would have missed. The home was clean and was in a great location, and the host was very responsive.

Cozy and Quiet

Everything about the beach home was pleasant. I love that it’s an older home with lots of character. Very quiet neighborhood right down the street from the lake. 5 out of 5 Stars.

Great Stay Close to the Beach

Our family enjoyed the clean, comfortable space. We really appreciate the proximity to all the activities we enjoy most when we come to Erie. There were no issues during my stay so I did not have to communicate with the host but they reached out immediately upon check in to make themselves available if needed.

Gannon Graduation Weekend

Our host was amazing. Easy to reach with questions and quick responses with suggestions. This cottage is so adorable, clean, and easy to get to. It was the perfect spot for resting in between activities, for enjoying a lovely dinner to celebrate our graduate, and for spending time with those we love. The beds were super comfortable and the furnishings were perfect. We can’t wait to find a weekend to come back!!

Beach escape

The house was very comfortable, cozy and inviting. The neighborhood safe and quiet. The pictures were accurate and described it perfectly. Check in and check out were a breeze and Shanna was a lovely host who contacted me at the beginning and end of our trip. The house was close to Waldemeer as well as Presque Isle. We had 3 kids under 12 with us and they had a blast at both locations. I would stay here again.

Cozy

The property was easily accessible and close to any activities, only a short drive to Presque peninsula there is a Beach accessible in walking distance, but there is many steps you would have to climb up and down to get to it. The house was very cozy with plenty of room, very clean and even have a yard that was big enough that the kids could play outside

Family friendly clean house, with a large kitchen, separate dining room and large living room. It was perfect for our vacation to Erie. We had plenty of space in the bedrooms for our luggage and clothes. The beds were comfortable. Shanna was an excellent host. She contacted me prior to arrival to make sure that we received all the information and answered all of my questions regarding the property promptly. It was easy to find and close to the beach. The neighborhood is cute and quiet. We are planning to come back next year.Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.JaneSummer 2025

good location

The location of this property was very convenient to Presque Isle and other Erie attractions. We felt safe in this neighborhood. The kitchen was very nice and updated. The neighbor in the apartment above the garage was very friendly. On the downside, there is only one thermostat in the house downstairs. I wish this property would have had a separate AC unit and thermostat for the second floor, like other rental properties where I have stayed. The second floor, where all bedrooms are located, was uncomfortably warm during our stay. There are ceiling fans above the beds, but I had trouble sleeping because it was too warm. We tried opening some of the windows, but they are old and some were problematic.

From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We were surprised to receive a 3-star rating, especially since there was no communication during your stay and no comments included in your review. We genuinely value all feedback, positive or negative, as it helps us improve and continue providing a great experience for our guests. Without any context, it’s difficult for us to understand what may have fallen short or how we might improve for future guests. We always encourage open communication during and after a stay and would truly appreciate it if you’re willing to share more details. Thank you again for staying with us. We hope to hear from you."
