This rental is placed in an excellent location if you are visiting downtown Detroit. It is literally an easy and safe 10-15 minute walk to Ford Field and Comerica Park - in fact you can see both from the front door! So if you are in town for a concert, or a ball game, not only do you avoid the 50 in a parking fees, but you are home in a snap after the event ends. The rental comes with an enclosed garage that’s inside a gated fenced area. There are a few steps into the unit, but once inside it is all one level. It is well laid out, and there is plenty of space to spread out. You are an easy walking distance to the eastern market, and many of the top sights and restaurants in Detroit, so it is an excellent homebase for sightseeing. The area is clean and well lit. We were very happy with the location, and enjoyed our stay. The only challenging thing was keeping all the codes straight, as there is a code to get into the gated fence, a code to get into the garage, and a code to get into the front door, and all were different. But as long as you can keep that straight, everything was great. Would definitely stay here again if we should return to Detroit.

This property was ideally located for me. It is easy walking distance to all three sports venues and numerous restaurants and theaters on Woodward Ave. The building itself is older but well-kept. The interior is updated throughout and nicely finished. It is very roomy. It has a bathtub and large walk-in shower. There is direct access to a deck which is shared with other units in the building. Having a one-car garage was a real benefit, especially since overnight street parking was somewhat limited.Overall, this rental was clean and comfortable. I did not cook much, but for someone who wanted prepare their own meals the cooking utensils were few. ( I did prepare breakfast and found only one small skillet which needs to be replaced).I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

The location was excellent for our Tiger 4 game stretch! Loads of room, comfy bed & within walking distance...perfect!

Saw the AC/DC concert at Ford Field. Perfect location. Great food in the area. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Perfect location

Absolutely wonderful stay! Perfect location we were able to walk to the Lions game and also the Redwings game. Constant communication to ask if we needed anything. Highly recommended

Roomy and clean

Came to visit our daughter and after a little confusion figuring out the codes and parking, it was smooth sailing after that. Super nice roomy place and great location. Near all the sports arenas and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars etc. really clean and cozy! Very nice!

parking for only one car

I give a 5 star rating because the stay was wonderful... however be warned that parking (wonderful enclosed ONE car garage) was seriously only for ONE car. Parking our second vehicle over night anywhere near there was horrible ... i would recommend not staying here if you have more than one car.

Our Visit to the D

We loved this Vrbo! Location was great, we were able to walk or drive to food, groceries, event locations, and so much more within 5-20 min. Rental was clean, lots of space to spread out, BIG kitchen which was perfect for cooking a tasty meal, comfy bed, nice shower, outdoor patio space—pretty private as there are lots of parking areas around, but this is on the backside away from the main lot. Only trouble we had was getting inside; lots of codes and the emails and Vrbo messages did not include this info in each communication; it was buried in ONE of the messages. We had to contact the property management, which was very fast and helpful. We had 1 car, would not recommend a second as parking is limited or pricey in the area, especially if there’s an event. We would definitely book again. Thank you!!!
